I dunno why but the pjo swiftie stuff annoys me. Both Annabeth and Percy are rockers. Percy needs no explanation. But Annabeth likely due to how young she was when she ran away and her circumstances thereafter just would have Thalia's music taste. Which is canonically punk rock. You know which pjo character absolutely would be a swiftie?

Ares (God of war) x mortal!reader
Okay but imagine Ares, the god of war falling in love with a beautiful mortal. It wasn't just love at first sight or he was looking so godly that she was immediately attracted. It was more like enemies to friends to lovers. Ares totally wanted to avoid catching feelings. But it was inevitable.
Imagine she had a successful career and everything, but here she was fighting with this dude at a diner who mistook her order of cheeseburger as his. And she had no idea he is a god.
Imagine both meeting again at the same diner a couple of days later and it's a complete coincidence. Ares is grumpy because he did something to piss off Zeus and as a sign it's raining heavily with thunder and lightning. She felt bad about the fight the other day and judging from his look he need some sort of comfort or assurance. All she could think about it buying him a cheeseburger. And then she left.
Imagine them turning into friends in their next meeting. And then within weeks falling in love. Ares is just like "I am screwed" because he has never loved a mortal so much.
Imagine Ares confessing and proving to her that he is a god. She is strong both mentally and emotionally but still he feared that she will run away. But she didn't, although she took some time to process it.
Imagine the weather getting worse and worse as the relationship progressed. Zeus is pissed. Ares doesn't care.
Imagine Ares showing her the amazing world hiding behind the mist. Both going on long rides on his motobike. Spending time with each other every chance they get.
And then eventually she fell pregnant. A very happy occasion for both of them. Ares vowed to always protect her and the child.
But them nothing last for ever. A prophecy. The child will grow up to become a threat to someone as powerful as the gods. Zeus thought the prophecy spoke of him. He immediately forbidded Ares to never see the child or the mother of the child again. Ares fought but at last he had no choice.
Imagine a very emotional scene. Ares assuring her that she is strong enough to raise their child, the demigod. Promising that he will always be around to protect the two of them but she just won't be able to see him.
She did her best to raise their daughter. A very powerful demigod with a urge to fight anyone.
Imagine she raised the demigod to be kind and just, taught her right from wrong. Told her about her father. But the daughter still ended up hating Ares. What kind of father abandon his daughter and the woman he claims to love.
Imagine father and daughter coming face to face years later when Ares and Percy Jackson are about to fight. Ares totally emotional to see his daughter again. His daughter however looking forward to make his father pay for leaving her mother.

(Because I love over anaylising characters 😻‼️‼️)
Now don't get me wrong, I love Sally jackson—I mean who doesn't!! She's a great woman, mom and wife but I've been seeing some hate on Sally recently because of the show and I have some simple words to say
SALLY JACKSON IS NOT A SAINT, SHE IS A WOMAN.
Some people are saying that they hate sally in the show because "she's too rude to percy and she should know he's struggling." What people seem to forget that Sally is a single mom whose in an abusive relationship. She tries for percy, she loves percy but that doesn't mean she can't be disappointed in him. She knows that percy isn't a 'Normal' kid, in both the mortal 'world' and the camp halfblood 'world'. Percy has ADHD and Dyslexia while being a demigod and even a forbidden child!! Percy sees things that people don't. Which leads him to get kicked out of 6 schools in 6 years.
I think the Cafe scene shows how much Sally truly cares for Percy
^ When percy says this you can she how Hurt sally is, how vulnerable she is.
This scene shows how good Rick is about making his characters feel human. Sally Jackson tries for percy she knows Percy's different that's why she loves him so much and that's why it's difficult to her to get Percy to appreciate that.
In conclusion: Sally Jackson the mom ever ‼️‼️‼️

Sometimes I think about how people rank Jason as their least favorite because he’s “such a bland character with no personality”, but was he even allowed to have one in the first place?
He’s two years old when Lupa guides him to Camp Jupiter. He’s brought up to be the perfect soldier, the perfect Roman, the perfect hero. He doesn’t know life outside the legion. He’s the son of Jupiter, he has to be great. If he’s not, he’s a failure and a disgrace. If he is then he’s still not the best because there so many other heroes who did it better than him so he has to keep trying harder and harder even though no matter what he’s never going to be good enough because the moment he slips up he’s no longer the perfect hero.
The few times he actually tries to do something he wants, he’s only cut down. Changing the 12th legion to the 1st legion? No, you can’t do that. It’s tradition. You’re wrong. That’s stupid. Joining the 5th cohort? Why would you join those losers? You’re only hurting yourself. You could be great if you join the 1st cohort instead like a good Roman boy.
So why would he try to do anything that cultivates his identity? Why would he try to do anything that brings him joy if everyone around him is just going to suck it right out?
He has no best friends at Camp Jupiter. He has acquaintances. He has people he’s friendly with. Say what you want but Reyna was a coworker. Dakota was cool, Gwen was nice. But none of them make Jason want to stay at Camp Jupiter instead of Camp Half-Blood. He thinks of Reyna but only in terms of he doesn’t want to saddle her with the responsibility of picking a new praetor. He thinks about duty. When he is picking between the camps he’s weighing his options between doing his duty as he’s done his whole life or picking himself for the very first time ever and he picks himself.
And it’s honestly so fucking depressing that the first time Jason picks himself and is actually supported in his decision happens when he is sixteen years old. And most of the people supporting him have only known him for a month.
But then he saddles himself with duty and responsibilities because that’s all he’s ever known and Percy is dying and Jason is a good Roman and a good hero and his job is to sacrifice his life for everyone else because of course it is. So he takes on Pontifex Maximus to build shrines and temples to minor gods and goddesses (not that they shouldn’t be honored but… once again he’s sacrificing his identity for the good of everyone around him).
And then, just as he’s finally discovering an identity for himself—he likes physics, he’s learning about the mortal world and living in it, he’s becoming more than just Jupiters son and Juno’s perfect hero—he’s killed.
Jason never got to be Jason. He only got to be Jason Grace, son of Jupiter, Praetor of the 12th Legion, slayer of Krios, one of the Seven, Juno’s Champion, Pontifex Maximus. He always belonged to someone else and never himself.
All this to say, Jason is my favorite of the Seven and although he’s not the eldest nor a daughter, as an eldest daughter I relate so hard and feel very seen in him.

every time i see a post about how “poor basil was bullied by aubrey” it makes me so mad.
like, aubrey is the real victim here.
i don’t agree with everything she did but she’s not a bully whatsoever.
aubrey isn’t thoughtlessly mean, she doesn’t enjoy hurting people!
she just wants to be left alone and basil won’t accept that even though he ruined her life and abandoned her when she needed a friend most.
and she literally SAW mari’s face crossed out with black. i know basil didn’t do it but in aubrey’s situation and state of mind it made perfect sense to assume. it looked like basil was trying to erase the memory of the only person in the world who GOT her and loved her in a girlhood way.
if y’all seriously think aubrey is a cruel bully then you don’t get her.
either that or youre a hypocrite and you hate women.
aubrey is so much more than the caricature that the town made her out to be, she’s a little girl in pain
she lost the only person in the whole world who truly and fully understood her
and while everybody else had a support system like parents or caregivers or even just friends, aubrey was ALL. ALONE.
of course she turned to people who she knew wouldn’t abandon her! of course she did whatever she could to keep herself safe and sane! she’s learned by now that nobody on earth is gonna do it for her, not even the people she considered friends.
and she literally GROVELS to basil after the fact. she feels SO GUILTY. y’all constantly love to rant and rave about how “oh basil did bad things but it’s okay because he was just a kid and he feels really guilty about it.” AUBREY IS JUST A KID. SHE FEELS GUILTY ABOUT IT. where’s that energy, motherfuckers? oh wait. she’s a girl. so she won’t get any sympathy from you fucking nasties.
tl;dr: aubrey didn’t do anymore wrong than basil did (in fact she did WAY less wrong) so i don’t get why she gets scrutinized so much while basil gets off scott free. oh wait i do know. cuz basil is a fucking boy and aubrey is a girl. stupid ass fandom.

I got into it because this one strange yandere writer happened to show up on another writer's page and as I was a literal yandere baby I really wanted to read whatever I could get m hands on.
She wrote a fantastic yandere kuroo fic, and then a fantastic yandere oikawa fic, and i greedily consumed everything on her page. And when i was done i immediately binged season 1 and not long after season 2 and 3
