“MASTER”
So to explain this character/OC/Final Boss this is based on a recent dream I had, one that was pretty wild in nature.
To begin, it was basically me watching gameplay footage of a new Kirby game, mainly at its finale. One of its phases was a large planetoid astroid, which appeared cobbled together and hiding something within, and during such phase the Love Love Stick from Dreamland 3 was used along with the Lor Starcutter. Soon it cuts to another scene where I assume this is the beginning part of the last phase, for some reason before the final chase down there was this melancholy walk where I saw memories of Magalor’s past, such as him wearing a adventurer’s hat and starting his expedition and research in the Ancients. Hell there was a moment where I saw Magalor and Marx hanging out as if they’re best buddies. When I saw this whole scene I legit thought to my self: “Wait is Magolor gonna die?”
It then cuts to final part, the final chase to the boss and it was dramatic in nature. Basically you literally go through every single stage/world, crossing by familiar settings and levels to reach the final boss itself (basically going from the final stage all the way back to the very first stage). One memorable scene was during the beach/water stage, where the final boss went so fast that the water was opened apart to form a path for it before crashing down, sinking the islands for a moment till resurfacing.
The final set piece where this battle takes place was oddly serene, it was just a grass field with the evening sky, the stars shining above as the horizons beautifully fall under a nightly purple fade. But standing on the center was a pitch Black Circle, it was like looking into vantablack shape that has no definite curve nor dimension. The dark circle was covered in red sketched out eyes, as if drawn hastily or stylized, staring directly at the viewer regardless of angle or position as it swirls endlessly in an angular position. The strangest part is that its not even related to Dark Matter or even Zero, hell it wasn’t even a soul boss to begin with. This thing was more mechanical than anything, whilst most Ball shaped final bosses at least hover and sway with movement, this thing was still and moves in a straight forward and calculated manner when needed (It was like a machine who only moves when it needs to, if not it just hovers unmoving). It only pulsates like a beating heart and an uncomfortable presence behind it, as if I was looking into nothingness.
When the boss health popped in, I only recall myself saying: “Master-“, as either I didn’t recall what I said afterwards or my dream cut out on that moment. The boss theme itself was a mix between Crowned and Astral Birth, leaning more on the somber side of things.
Thus I call this being of nothingness, Master
I never saw the conclusion nor the boss battle of this fight, but funnily enough the gameplay footage in this dream was a guy going at it with a no-hit no ability run.
(The Magolor design to the right is simply my interpretation of him being possessed by Master)

In the terms of headcanon of the entity known as Master
To best describe this thing it is one of many things or weapons created to challenge Void Termina in the ancient past. Due to Void being an entity of pure chaos, Master was created by magical faction of the Ancients to personify emptiness or nothingness to combat it, afterall the chaos of life and existence can only be stopped when nothing is left. It initially began as a small relic or totem that one uses to initiate a ritual, simply holding it up high and let the essence of nothingness seep into the body. The original main goal was to imbue an individual the powers of nothingness, the ability to erase and to delete chaos or matter.
However due to the overwhelming nature of nothingness, it will quickly overtake the individual as a host, becoming the entity known as Master. With its’s programed purpose by their creators, it sees everyone and every living thing as chaos, (as chaos is seen as a mixture of soul, heart, dream, and dark, formulating an individual if the 4 matters are balanced). Thus Master was tasked to eradicate all of existence to cleanse chaos itself.
Thankfully through unknown means that managed defeat this horror, the being itself was sealed away after its host was killed. It is not known how it was defeated, but due to the creation of this being, it tarnished the good reputation of the magical faction of the Ancients. Thus it was deemed a matter most dark, a subject or event that is better left unknown and hidden away.
If there was a pause screen for this it would say:
“In the vast sea of space, every light shall be erased. The chaotic beating heart of every star would be snuffed out. The whole universe would be nothing but an endless void. But the only thing that lives stares at its new prey with red unblinking eyes...”
Master
To describe the attacks, it basically uses the host as a vessel to conjure its abilities. Essentially utilizing the capabilities of its hosts to its advantage whilst infusing them with its power. The main body of the individual would be engulfed under a black void, appearing as a shadowy silhouette that can amorphously shape and contort its form into any capability. Thus with it possessing Magolor, Master has full reign of his abilities whilst empowered by the essence of nothingness.
Should the host’s body is damaged or in critical condition, Master would engulf its own host to preserve itself in order to persist within the world. To further protect its vessel, it would gravitationally pull various objects such as debris to encrust itself into a large planetoid or structure. In said form, it would launch debris laced with black corruption in order to defend itself from any attackers. Even to burst out shadowy tendrils to swat attackers.
In its final form, Master’s attacks are more towards shapeshifting. The circle would shape itself to various weapons or creatures in order to both overwhelm and destroy its enemies. In addition, the eyes of Master would not deviate on looking at the viewer, as its eyes would still stare at you regardless of its movement. But like many soul-based bosses, it does have their movesets, although the being itself would split itself apart as it becomes the attack itself.

Evils of the World (9-14) (2023)
Heres the second batch of 14 images I’ve done for a project, which is basically a set of artworks corresponding to a letter in the alphabet
Overall, despite the tough schedule they set for it, I am pretty happy how it went.

Been thinking how hilariously hard the imagery this artwork goes. It was one of the most detailed of the black and white drawings I did, and its one of my favorites.
