I think it was the blog primrock who post a clip of the coordinator talking,she worked with Z on Euphoria and Z had asked for her. She said Z told her she's not just there to help me but also the boys,and how Z knew how important having 1 on set was,about it being standard procedure
I didn’t see that, but it’s nice to hear that Z advocates not only for herself but also for her colleagues

Now I wonder if nwh had also a intimacy coordinator. I know is not the focus of the fim,at all, at there's only two kiss scenes but still. is is needed in all cases or just whem the scene is kinda long an important part of the plot(like in euphoria, tcr , poor things.. etc)
I don’t think they used an intimacy coordinator for nwh, and honestly I don’t think it needed one? But if someone knows more about it, feel free to share

They have full protocols for intimate scenes now. They literally have barriers between actors, will stop filming if someone is uncomfortable, or a man gets an erection.. They don’t make actors go through all the uncomfortable stuff they did years ago. The whole scene is run through the coordinator, the actors, so they know what is going on every moment. It’s wonderful to see for all of them , to be safe, and have the ability to do a scene that isn’t fun with less tension. So happy to hear they are starting to be so widely used, and hope all studios and productions make it mandatory.

Yes, intimate scenes in movies are typically choreographed and coordinated, which ensures both the safety and comfort of actors involved. In one of the interviews, Z mentioned that they had an intimacy coordinator on set, and part of their job is helping choreograph intimate scenes.

People really don’t know what is the difference between acting and real life. Like all that intimate scenes are choreographed (for example i think the positioning of the hands is agreed and coordinated) but from the comments on twitter you would think that they have sex for real💀💀💀
I think most of those people either can’t imagine being so secure in their relationships or are trolls

the emphasis on the "work is keeping them busy for now" is so suspicious to me btw like it's saying they're just waiting for current professional commitments to be done (might also explain why they're not announcing any other project yet apart from the ones they're working on right now) before going at full steam for the you-know-what.
that + all the nesting in london + rumors of a new house in SF (?) + talk of wanting kids on interviews + "...british people...they're my family now" + syncing their schedules + all the recent 1.0 history reclamation + them being sappy enough to do something reallyyyy special on or near the 10th year of their first meeting + these rumors + many other little things that made my one eye twitch over the last year alone....
took me a bit to get here but best believe i'm fully on the 2024 / 2025 schmedding train now!
