She grinned and ended up running when they got closer to the stream. The first thing she did was dump her bag on a flat rock, take off her shoes and socks, and jump into the stream- She was about knee deep before she finally said-

"Alright, here we are!"

She glanced around the area, digging through the rocks on the side of the streams.

"Sometimes, there's nice rocks that look sparkly and all, I like to use them to decorate the pots in the shop- Never really thought about bringing you, though... Well, now you're here!"

“Can you not?” Ace asked as Zelda's tiny hand waved in front of his book for the fifth time that page, making him lose his spot -again. "I said once I finish this chapter we'd go, and you're making it take longer you realize." He was beginning to get a little irritated, but he kept his tone light. (ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE!)

“But Accccee!”

Zelda whined, practically hugging his head. Yes, she was being annoying and bothersome, but maybe it had some charm to it?

“We’ve been here for like. 7 hours!”

It was more like 10 minutes, but she got bored a little too easily.

“And it’s fun- Plus I’m getting attention- And I won’t stop until you put down the book and come with me!”

Zelda laughed, hopping up and hooking arms with him and practically dragged him out the door. Another day, another fake date. She had one place in mind today: The little stream that was pretty fast and deep. She was going to try to see if she could measure how deep the area was.

"Alright, off we go! Actually, you might want to bring an extra pair of pants or something, we're kinda going swimming!"

Zelda frowned and rubbed her eyes, pausing for a moment before she quickly placed a loving kiss on his lips before looking a little sad.

"Then remember that I will always love you." She murmured softly, before she turned away and attempted to march out the door.

Zelda huffed and started heading out, only to stop once she heard him mention Link never coming back. "W-What?" She froze, quickly spinning around and narrowing her eyes.

Zelda let out a happy squeal and hugged him, giggling as she happily sat on him. "My hero!" She placed a kiss on his cheek before leaning against him, humming happily. She was more like a child than a lady.

Well, now this boy had apples on his face and a silly princess overhead. “Owwww. Why???”

“Because!” Zelda giggled, hanging upside-down from the branch. 

“Catch meee!” And then she let go, hoping she’ll land on Link.

Zelda unconviently dropped about 7 apples on his face. So much for carefully collecting fruits and surprising the puppy. Maybe it was an accident, or maybe it was on purpose, and she was trying to pretend to be cute?

Here lies a very very bored Link, craving attention. Staring up at the sky wasn’t very entertaining when one was so bored it was infuriating. Someone better pay him attention before he starts getting into trouble.

“S-See you soon, alright?” She said softly, staring at him, trying to hide her worry. “Safe and sound...” She murmured, sniffling a little. She didn’t want him to go any more.

“Alright, good luck! Don’t come back hurt! And make sure you’re drinking enough water and snacking every now and then!” She placed a kiss on his cheek, sighing softly as she smiled warmly at him. “I love you too, goof.”
