8. Where and when do they seem most and least at ease? Why? How can you tell?
[42 character development questions -- ACCEPTING]
Most
In his office, during the early evening. He enjoys the sound of activity from his club, at least as long as it's muffled behind a few walls and a door. This is due to his sensitive hearing granted by his Vastayan heritage. He specifically had his desk placed where it is to be by the window, so he can relax in the dim light shining through his window during the day, and bask in the neon-esque illumination through the window at night. Though, to be honest, anywhere in Zaun tends to give him comfort to exist in. One can tell Silco is at ease by his posture and tone of voice. He will be more even-spoken and tall-standing when relaxed, projecting an aura of calm authority with his movements. He'll smoke less when already relaxed and at ease, instead occupying himself with work and conversation. He's even known to smile occasionally, if in a good enough mood, though it never becomes a full grin.
Least
Silco is less likely to show it, but he's less comfortable in areas closer to Piltover and its enforcers, simply out of the knowledge that he's a hare's breath away from being a very, very wanted man. It's not even necessarily fear, it's more acute awareness. This includes the Bridges, the Bathospheres, and most topside areas near the River Pilt.
Situations, themselves, can also lead to Silco being less at ease, like struggles with the other Chem Barons, Jinx going missing (again), or tensions with Topside rising.
When less at ease, Silco tends to hunch and speak in a growling, low voice. He will stand more like a man ready for a fight than a calm and collected leader. He smokes and drinks when under stress, always needing his mouth and hands occupied by something. He tends to disguise these habits, however, as to not make them obvious tells for his adversaries to notice.

What is your character arc...?
Tumblr media
tragic hero arc
we all know how this story goes. when it began, you were almost the perfect hero, but almost is never enough. you lacked introspection, or you were too stubborn or vengeful or reckless - as reckless as the world that helped to ruin you. you were not perfect, and that's okay. we knew the story ended in blood and we watched it anyway. we knew you would die in the end and we still couldn't help but love you, just a little bit. at the very least, you are more human than a hero could ever be.

‘ NOTE ‘ (from Jinx for Silco)
[send me  ‘ NOTE ‘  and i’ll tell you what my muse would write on a note left for yours. -- ACCEPTING]
Jinx,
I've left for the day to deal with business in the chem district. Parts of our shipments are crystalizing before delivery to the client. Clearly a mistake in manufacturing. Sevika is coming with me. That means you're in charge of the Last Drop until I come back. Do not allow Dustin to climb behind the bar again. He's on strict probation after his last stunt setting the bartop on fire. There's a bowl of cured anchovies left on my desk for you. Eat it before you head downstairs. Thieram has your whiskey in stock again. Have a drink if you need it.
Silco.

send me  ‘ NOTE ‘  and i’ll tell you what my muse would write on a note left for yours.
could be a cute post-it note left on the fridge, a short letter in place of an emotional goodbye, a threatening warning, etc.

𓁿 NAME : : Zigg , Ziggy , Z
𓁿 PRONOUNS : : it/its/they/them
𓁿 MOST ACTIVE MUSE(S)? : : my blog here @zaunseye and my Viktor blog @mxchineherald, I have a muse list here, but most of them are on hiatus or very low activity.
𓁿 RP PET PEEVES? : : Having to lead a whole thread is up there, but I think being expected to match length gets to me too. Some days all I can manage is a two or three paragraphs, especially when I've run out of inner thoughts to express. I've have had old ex-partners imply to me that replying with a shorter length is rude or inconsiderate and I don't get it??? Like, I'm moving the plot along, just without as much inner monologue.
𓁿 EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS : : Technically, I've been roleplaying since I was very little. I learned to type early, and was online and roleplaying(with parental supervision, actually) by the time I was about 9. So I'd say about 21 years.
𓁿 FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT : : Hard to say! Depends on the plot itself, but I'm always down for some angst. Preferably angst revolving around injury, illness, and vulnerability. Something about my character either being in a vulnerable position or taking care of someone else in a vulnerable position just tickles me. I feel like it leads to a fair amount of development that may otherwise never happen between characters.
𓁿 PLOTS OR MEMES : : I like both! Plotting is a good way to establish a relationship between two muses, and also gives me an idea of the preferences of my partner, while memes are a great way to further flesh out that relationship and put it into difference scenarios we might not have thought of on our own. Sometimes it's straight up crack-rp which can be fun from time to time!
𓁿 LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : : It all depends on the current flow of roleplay. I'm up for something as long as 7-10 paragraphs, or as short as two or three sentences. This blog is meant for interaction of all forms, including long or short form roleplay. I used to try and force myself to pump out long replies every time, but that was leading to burnout and depression. It was making RP a job rather than a hobby. So now I just go with the flow of the thread and give what I feel is an appropriate response.
𓁿 TIME TO WRITE : : Whenever I get inspiration, honestly! My life has been hectic and sad lately, with some personal losses and a nasty cold rearing its ugly head. I might be a slower RPer at the moment, but it's what's balanced out for me with my IRL issues and other hobbies, like fanfiction and fanart.
𓁿 ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : : You know, I hope I'm not too much like Silco, outside of my determination and anti-authoritarianism. I do relate to him, in a way, otherwise I'm not sure I could properly portray him. It's just hard to put it into words. I think it's that anger at being forced into playing a game that's long since been rigged against me.

[morality meme -- ACCEPTING]
⚖: Has your muse broken the law before? Broken a vow or promise?
Yes. Laws are easy to break for Zaunites, as some of them were made specifically to be easily broken as an excuse to arrest and force them into captivity. Silco has done stints at Stillwater before for this specific reason. Therefore, he has little respect for the actual laws enforced by Piltover, breaking them all the time.
When it comes to vows or promises, also yes, though only rarely, and usually it's mutual. The vows made in blood between him and Vander were destroyed the moment he was nearly drowned in the River Pilt, for example. Usually when he makes a vow or a promise, it's held ironclad.

👑: Is your muse honorable?
[morality meme -- ACCEPTING]
It may surprise some more prejudiced Piltover elites, but Silco is incredibly honorable. He is truthful in his intentions, and holds up his end of bargains. He finds it to be the best way of leadership, and punishes those who exploit his honor viciously.
The only time his honor is pushed into the corner is regarding his daughter, and even then, he faces deep conflict over it, and ultimately chooses the more honorable action of protecting his daughter from persecution in his place.

💋: How easily are they tempted?
[morality meme -- ACCEPTING]
Silco is a very resolute man. The cause for freeing his homeland from the oppressive rule of Piltover is his main focus. Temptations of most varieties won't even effect him or get in the way of his goals.
He's especially hardened against romantic or sexual temptation, seeing as his previous experiences of it have been with Vander, where things ended particularly badly. He looks in the mirror every day and is reminded of why he no longer seeks such attachments. Becoming too intimately entangled with someone is always too big a risk to his plans.

Have you ever gotten everything you ever wanted?        — No. but I once got very close.
What happened?        — I don't know. Everything disappears. Even dreams.            I suppose I just flew too close to the sun.
