when doctors ask if i have any history of cancer in my family and i have to say that yes my grandmother had 2 types of gastrointestinal cancer and they're like oh wow okay so we'll keep an eye out for that but i'm like no it was probably just all the nuclear radiation and they're like ok hm ok what the fuck do you mean and it's very weird seeing the look on american doctors' faces when you have to explain to them that believe it or not atomic bombs were dropped on this earth 2 generations ago and it did have consequences

okay hi! my last post lost traction before we could reach the goal, but long story short: my grandma w late stage alzheimers had to go into surgery because of her hip and while the surgery was successful, they had to remove her prosthetic which means that she will be in a wheelchair from now on. which means that theres a few more costs aside from her post op / the care home she stays in (because she needs 24/7 care and my dad is her only caretaker) and its REALLY heavy on him. my dad started a fund online but i dont think its possible for people outside of our country to donate, so if youd like to help my family, im taking commissions to help my dad out, or if youd just like to help, this is my paypal.
