My first fursona, pyxis, was themed after the stars because I love space and galaxy aesthetics, for example! I've made a few more designs since then but I feel the most connected to Pyxis probably because I already felt connected through my love of space.

Do you have any advice for making a fursona? I've wanted to since I was like 11 but people would make fun of me so finally at almost 24 I'm letting myself just do things for the sake of being happy! I don't really know what animal I wanna do for it though.

(And I really want in);;; at times I know there's not an actual gate to the furry fandom but I really get the feeling of not being "in it" and I'm hoping to find more people to share the magic with more✨

The most important rule when making a new character is based it off something you are ALREADY attached to! It can be the tree you sit under... Your absolute favorite time of year .. or a favorite object that you own! ^w^ then the attachment comes pretty naturally

Can we start a movement where people send asks to artists who only draw thin people and say "I'd love to see fat people in your art style! 😊" Because I am so tired of people thinking it's okay to pretend diversity doesn't include fatness. Surely if an artist receives enough asks, they'll finally take the hint and actually learn how to draw fat people like they should have years ago before finishing their ten millionth drawing of their 300th thin OC. You weren't born out of the womb knowing how to draw hands and machinery and landscapes. You can at least fucking try to not exclude fat people, who, you know, account for well over 2 billion people on this planet.
