i feel like high school/middle school sitcoms set the unrealistic expectation of being able to have lunch time outside
#there was literally physically no room in my high school cafeteria for everyone to have lunch inside#like that cafeteria was a fire hazard#and i was terrified of it#we ate lunch outside in 90f+ weather every day#and eating inside wasn't gonna be any cooler#an ac can only do so much with that many people inside#when it got unbearable some teachers allowed us to have lunch in their classrooms just for safety's sake

For all of the zionist assholes who try to play to LGBT people's emotions and say "Oh, well, Israel is pro-LGBT and Hamas isn't. So, you're going directly against your own interests."
Support for a colonized and occupied people living under apartheid is not conditional. Do you seriously think that every justified war, riot, protest, and/or violent uprising must perfectly coincide with modern identity politics? LAUGHABLE. I don't care if the slaves who rose up against their cruel masters, the indigenous people who protest against colonization, the poor who revolted against the oppressive bourgeois, were/are fucking LGBT friendly.
Israel constantly plays face to liberal sensibilities to get privileged westerners on their side. They support things like feminism, LGBT rights, veganism, etc. to try and make themselves look good and mask the fact that they are a fascist ethnostate that's been slaughtering innocents and oppressing an indigenous population for DECADES. Israeli pinkwashing has been going on for ages, and it's 100% on purpose and dumbass liberals fall for it constantly.
How many people do you think Israel has imprisoned, tortured, murdered, or otherwise oppressed that are, themselves, queer? Do you think they give a single shit about them? Did you even bother googling for pro-LGBT Palestinian organizations? alQaws? ASWAT? Of course not.
Are you aware of the anti-LGBT Israeli organizations, the people in positions of power who actively fight against queer liberation? Have you seen what the Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has said about queer people? Have you looked at the statistics that say that anti-LGBT violence has quintupled in the last few years thanks to the fascist government? Have you not seen Netanyahu happily working with the ultra-nationalist Noam party, who are openly homophobic?
