          he didn’t even realize a ball had rolled up to where he’s standing until he heard the voice, to engrossed in trying to find a certain companion of his. it wasn’t hard to find out which of the guys playing had called out to him, the exuberant voice seemed like it could only belong to someone with the looks to match. he picked the ball up wordlessly, and it wasn’t until he sent it back that he decided to speak. he’s in an unfamiliar territory and has been looking around for almost half an hour now, so he’ll welcome any kind of leads.
