Ok so I’ve been thinking about the elements in genshin and the reason why each character would get this specific vision.

Mostly been thing this with Anemo because of Jean. Her being the old one out as far as I’m aware.

We know that visions are given to someone who possess a extreme level of ambition that the gods look in favor of them. If that is the case that visions would be more random, IF that was the case than only a few people that have a specific vision would have something in common with someone who has the same vision.

IF that was the case that we won’t be seeing similarities in all theses different characters, with different backgrounds, and different ways on how they got one. I believe that someone needs to meet a criteria to actually get a specific type of vision.

Now so far I only don’t Anemo and looked into the past of most of these Anemo characters but I think I got it or at least a bit.

To get a Anemo vision one must have a sense of freedom, and must suffer though freedom it self.

By what I mean from that is that one must face the consequences of freedom that someone has achieve no matter how much it pains you.

People like Venti Kazuha Xiao Hezou, who had to suffer though the fact that friends and loved ones are now free from their pains/life. They also have to suffer though the consequences their friends made with their own freedom. (ex: Venti’s and Kazuha’s friend)

Sucrose has to deal with the fact that she lost her best friends because of the freedom her friends had. How the drifted away only leaving Sucrose to hope to fulfill the dream they had despite not being together anymore

Scaramouch/Wanderer who has to deal with the fact that he himself is now free. Something that pain him so much. The fact that he gain his freedom by not being a right fit for Ei. Along with trying to adjust to being completely free now (from his past and all the people from it)

And Sayu? Well it the fact that she’s finally free from her master, that makes her feel anxious. She doesn’t want to “leave the nest” or an other words be free because then she has to be alone.

Finally we have Jean. Personally I find Jean to me the odd ball in the mix. I even think that she more suited for a Geo, if it wasn’t for the one factor. She doesn’t have freedom of her own. We know from a young age there been pressures on Jean. When she became a knight things got worst. Many people rely on Jean even if they don’t really need her. Because of the freedom of other people she has no freedom herself.

I’ll add more on this when the other characters are out. But this is what I have so far.

TW for suicide and bullying

From what he told us this doesn’t exactly answer from where he got the scars on his neck. But it did left me to over think especially when you ask if he depressed. He doesn’t denied it, but never said he does. From what he said next we can imply that he did sense most kids do develop depression from being bullied, along with phycological trauma which he does have.

If you don’t see where I’m going with this I believe that he tried to commit suicide. Sure the marks could have been from the kids, sense he did say one of them stabbed him with a pen/pencil, so getting choked by some of them is not to far out of the question. But you only get marks if an object like a rope or a pipe have been pressed against it. Which leaves me to believe he tried to kill himself.

Idk I think I’m just looking to far in to it.
