amazing commission from @the-elusive-libbin of my voracious Marcus Abellius, a Roman Centurion pred!
The Roman's Belly
Marcus let out a great belch, expelling a bronze pin from the depths of his colossal tank, along with a saliva-soaked loincloth.
He grinned and gave his hefty bare distended gut a hearty smack and turned to face the rest of his recruits, wiping his mouth with his meal's loincloth. Said owner of the loincloth was now just meat stretching out his big bare belly and staring his former friends in the face via Marcus' gaping bellybutton.
Marcus gave his man-eating gut another belly-wobbling smack for emphasis, his belly now digesting the owner of the loincloth - whatever his name had been. Marcus smirked - it didn't matter now. He was just belly - his belly. Basically part of Marcus Abellius now.
"I trust none of you future bellies will be leaving gaps in the shield wall now," Marcus said, hands on hips and thrusting his belly of recruit in the direction of his surviving recruits, who were all staring wide-eyed at the distended fat belly that had once been their friend. "That's what I thought," Marcus said, licking his lips and belching again, savouring the taste of his former meal of whateverhisnamewas.
"Now, form up." His recruits hurried to get into position, shields held aloft. But with a man down (or more accurately, gobbled up), there was an unavoidable gap in the formation. The young men looked at their feet, terrified their commander was going to punish them.
Suddenly, however, something was emerging from the shield wall. Marcus was in amonst his men, and emerging from the wall, bouncing two shields aside to make space for its heft - was a big groaning belly. Marcus grinned as he pushed his belly out, his cavernous navel front and centre of the shield wall.
He slapped his big bare dome of gut and roared. "Still found a use for him after all." He ran his hands lovingly over the swell of rounded bare belly that was all that remained of his unpromising recruit. "It's almost like he didn't leave at all..."
