Employing euphemisms minimizes the reality of this genocide. It's disrespectful and dangerous.

If you are more uncomfortable with the word genocide than you are with the reality of genocide, then you are not prepared to be part of any serious discussion. Work on that on your own time.

in light of police across the country cracking down on pro palestine protests with brutal force, it feels like a great time to remind everyone to shut the fuck up around cops. don't make small talk, dont act friendly, don't fucking engage with them!! if you are arrested DO NOT speak without a lawyer present. protest organizers, get into contact with local pro bono lawyers who can be there for your arrested comrades. no matter what, if cops are there, shut the fuck up unless you are actively doing a protest chant. dont tell cops why you were there, dont tell them if you're affiliated with the school you may be protesting at, dont tell them if you came there with anyone, dont tell them anything!!!

I really like how Chilchuck made a huge deal about keeping his private life separate from his work life but objectively he’s not even that good at it. They’d ask how old he is and he gets overly cagey and defensive like 😡😤🤐 “THATS TOO PERSONAL!” which just makes everyone more curious. Like he’s practically waving around the fact that he’s keeping secrets.

meanwhile Senshi is ACTUALLY mysterious, and so casual about it. He barely shares anything unless asked, but every time he does, you realize there’s so much more he’s definitely not telling. He doesn’t seem bothered by most questions, but it almost seems invasive to try to pry for more. What has this man seen. Where has he been. What has he done. There are so many decade-long gaps in his timeline. It’s not even like he’s trying to hide anything (except, y’know, the griffin thing) he just doesn’t talk about himself much.

listen i love spooky stories and don't necessarily disbelieve in supernatural stuff, but i feel like people who go, "oooooo the national parks have monsters in them! that's why so many people go missing!" either underestimate how dangerous the woods can be or overestimate how ill-prepared a bunch of people who go into the woods are

i used to live in a place and work a schedule where i could go hiking every single day after work, and i always carried extra water and a first aid kit with me, and there was more than once i ended up sharing with new hikers who either didn't bring enough water or got hurt and had nothing to treat themselves with. i also REGULARLY had to guide new hikers when they either got lost from marked trails or overestimated their own abilities to find their way. i knew the trails (including the unmarked ones and shortcuts) really well bc i was out on them every single day, but especially when the days got short, i'd have new hikers tagging along with me bc they had no idea where they were and hadn't brought any maps/downloaded a map they could use with no cell reception. where i hiked was a relatively small trail system around a mountain near a very populated area so they would have found their way to a parking lot or a road eventually (probably), but out in a national forest?? odds ain't great.

idk man. bigfoot *might* get you, but dehydration DEFINITELY will. respect nature and hike prepared.

I got to make a painting for the Attack on Titan: Final Season 😭

I wanted to create a piece focusing on the relationship between Eren & Mikasa and this idea of how they’re connected to each other. I can’t help but think about how they both share this theme of fate, faced with making difficult choices that lead to extreme, world-ending scenarios. They’re both bound by these chains of fate; Eren to his past, present & future as a Titan, and Mikasa with her loyalty and conscience to Eren. Below them, the aftermath of the Rumbling urges them toward their futures
