I cannot express in words how frustrated and angry I get when I hear people say that child trafficking is a myth. What absolutely shocks me, is how ignorant these people can be, with no interest in developing any knowledge or understanding around the complexities of this devastating global issue.
It’s time for people to wake up and accept the fact that child trafficking is a serious crime that’s happening all around the world, in plain sight - right next to them. The sheer number of children taken away from their families, held in captivity, and exploited for labor and sex is absolutely harrowing. To think that people won’t accept the reality of this rampant and abhorrent form of exploitation is simply disgusting. No child should have to suffer such injustice, yet this sickening and violent practice continues to affect millions of innocent children every year. Just because there isn’t an easy solution for this crisis doesn’t make it a “myth”. Poor law enforcement, lack of awareness, and corrupt mechanisms all play a complex role in allowing this crime to continue. If people can’t see that widespread child trafficking is a real problem and it needs to be acted upon, then I simply don’t know what else to say. It’s time to stop ignoring the truth and do something about it.
We need to make sure that this global crisis is pushed to the top of the agenda - because it deserves urgent attention and developments in legislation and action. It’s time to shine a light on this horrifying reality and do something to help those innocent children who are suffering right under our noses. It’s time to stand up and not turn a blind eye on child trafficking any longer.
Quick Rant! Warning: Mentions of R*pe! Please do not scroll down below if you are uncomfortable with the subject.
Marital rape is an abhorrent, unconscionable act that simply has no place in our society. To think that someone would violate their spouse in such a way is utterly incomprehensible and inexcusable. It is a crime that does not carry the same weight as sexual assault, but its harm and trauma are just as real.
Marital rape is a manifestation of the power dynamics associated with gender roles in our society, often driven by patriarchal beliefs. This type of violence is used to control and subjugate basically anybody else who is more vulnerable in the marriage; usually the wife. There is no justice in the law when it comes to marital rape. We need stricter laws and harsher punishments. It is a horrific crime and should be treated like any other sexual offense. To allow a spouse to get away with something like this is an insult to justice and any sense of morality. Marital rape is wrong.
thank you for responding to my ask about abortion! i definitely agree with the points you made and i think it’s something that’s not as black and white as much of the left thinks it is
No problem, im glad I was able to clear things up! Leftists tend to have very black and white thinking so it can be very hard reasoning with them lol.
I hope you have a nice day and good luck with things!
on most points about abortion i agree with you, in that a woman shouldn’t kill a fetus as a form of contraception. however, one thing i am curious about is whether it’s morally right for the woman to have an abortion if she knows shes in a situation where raising a child can be potentially dangerous (abusive partner etc.) (not including poverty in this because there’s the possibility of the mother and child getting better opportunities in the future.) thank you!
Yes ofcourse! So Speaking of morality is extremely important when we are talking about abortion because in situations where bearing a child can be dangerous can only include things such as:
1. the pregnancy will kill the mother
2. The mother is too young (referring to minors as young as 12) to bear a child so therefore its dangerous for her health to conceive the baby.
So therefore abortion is justified!
Situations such as having an abusive partner should not be a factor because you can work around it. You can move out, ask for help and there's many resources for that and you can file for a divorce if its possible but i understand that custody can be really intimidating to deal with in court but having an abusive partner will usually mean the partner is also deadbeat and doesnt take care of the child. At that point, its your word against theirs and you can win custody of your child if they are not willing to support you and your baby and is just outright neglectful. If they are absent for periods of time from the baby's life, they can even lose parental rights. There are definitely ways around abuse, but its difficult because you need to prove it. I know it sucks to have to raise a child in that environment but an abusive partner should never be a resort to killing your child. Things can always get better too! Im not devalueing abuse or downplaying it here, because I've been abused and I know what's it like but you should never punish the child for the behavior of the toxic partner! That child is also a part of you and as a human being, they deserve to have a life just as much as you are and their life's worth and value shouldn't be judged based on the actions of their parents.
