do y'all want a fun little story about me being ace cause you're getting one
okay so for the longest time I did not understand the idea of sexy clothes. like lingerie and short dresses and stuff. did not get it. when I saw photos of clothes that I objectively knew were "supposed" to be sexy I would literally just go like "why is this sexy. this dress has so many holes in it and that bra looks really itchy and I don't understand the draw of any of this. it's just a piece of clothing wdym it's 'sexy'"
and then. I figured out. that YOU'RE MEANT TO BE LOOKING AT THE PERSON WEARING IT 😭 the clothes are not supposed to be inherently sexy but the fact that they show off the person wearing them IS supposed to be and that is something that did not click for me for SO LONG. I spent real actual time and energy trying to figure this out.
so yeah that's like probably one of the most ace things about me 👍

remember that college tuition is significantly cheaper here than in the united states
look up and notice your cat is at the window, staring at you. he paws at the window lightly and meows. it’s devastating. his eyes are so big and imploring. decide that you have to get inside your apartment at all costs. not even god himself can stop you from feeding your cat his chicken wet food dinner. frida kahlo herself could descend from the heavens and ask “hey you wanna bang?” and you’d say “hell yeah but first let me open this door so i can feed my cat his dinner”
remember there is a starbucks 3 blocks down the street from you
enter. the barista gives you a weird look for entering a starbucks at 7pm on a tuesday

I got a new binder off amazon and it’s made of mesh. I didn’t know who to text about it so I’m just talking into the void instead. It was on sale too. Like 9 dollars. And although it looks like one of those crusty jerseys from the middle school gym class handball unit, it’s pretty comfy. And it’s got like holes in it on purpose so it’s whatever the opposite of too hot is. It’s also safe to work out in?? It’s like so perfect fr. I will put the link here if anybody ever sees this.
Oh and the sizes go all the way up to 6 XL which is cool.
And the listing title isn’t gonna fully out you if you put it on a christmas list. I was looking for something like that to put on my own list, but it was just so cheap I decided just to buy it myself while it was on sale. Just pretend the title is just talking about the style and say it’s just a really breathable sports bra or something if you need to convince someone to get it for you.

it's so fucking frustrating to be in college and know everyone uses chatgpt and to be tempted by it constantly while also knowing intellectually that it doesn't work and it's a bad idea. like, i hang out in the library a lot, and i see people using chatgpt on assignments almost every day. and i know it isn't a good way to learn, because it's not really "artificial intelligence" so much as it is an auto text generator. and it gives you wrong information or badly worded sentences all the time. but every week i stare down assignments i don't want to do and i think man. if only i could type this prompt into a text generator and have it done in 10 minutes flat. and i know it wouldn't work. it wouldn't synthesize information from the text the way professors want, it wouldn't know how to answer questions, it just spits out vaguely related words for a couple paragraphs. but knowing my classmates get their work done in 10 minutes flat with it while i fight every ounce of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in my body is infuriating.
