Batman is the first fandom where I give up on canon so much.
It's perfect for angst, I actually enjoy some sad takes which make me wanna cry and scream, but, boy, oh boy, do I care? Nah. I like my silly batdad fantasy too much, I like to imagine them as a happy family, they make me serotonin and you can pry them out of my cold, dead hands.
I don't even feel ashamed about it, because yeah, canon is cool but look at good parent Bruce Wayne tag. Look.
