Johnny begged to differ.
Her 'SONGS' were a key to unlocking some of his more favorable memories. The 'SPIN', something he held so dear to him for a reason he has yet to figure out, but... her singing had unlocked that. Her singing is what drew them closer together as friends in the first place. Friends, huh? It's a little weird to think about, him having a friend that wasn't Gyro around here.
His device is cast aside, sitting up at last to look to Luka's general vicinity. Johnny, although not much to say anything in the first place, chose to speak up in words rather than text.

Knowing well the nature of the school, Johnny came to expect the worst. Even then, he hoped for the best. For once in his life, he hoped that that the worst is not the true outcome. The missing girl, the missing sass... the missing presence of Luka Megurine.
He had to brace himself. Who knows what's in the 'MUSIC ROOM' now, considering the circumstances, but if the room was locked from the inside, surely she's alright in there. Surely she's just sleeping. Yeah. Sleeping. His thought process came in a jumbled mess. Is he that worried? Hah. Curious.
"Already did," Johnny confirmed, the 'MONOMESSENGER' now slipped in his pocket. The noises from within hardly went noticed by Johnny. Hardly. They still registered, but other things occupied him first. Unfortunately, those interior 'SOUNDS' proved to be vital-- important-- for deducing Luka's safety.
... Or lack thereof.
Blue eyes caught a glimpse of her hanging figure. Lifeless. Lynched. Just like in the movie they saw just a night before.
He was dropped.
It's alright. He's in shock. Those blues never left her swinging body. How long has she... been like that?
"... Cut her down."
He spoke in a hushed, shaky voice. The room's architecture allowed even a quiet whisper to travel as though he spoke normally. Fingers curled into his palms, his body now on the ground, hands pressed on the floor for support. Still, he could not look away from what used to be Luka. What used to be a living, breathing songbird named Luka... No. No no. He's already lost Gyro once upon a time, and now Luka... now Luka is...
"Cut her down!!" Seeing her hang like that... he can't stomach it.

Johnny’s concerns were shared. Normally, the singer, even when locking herself in the music room, would playfully tease the two of them over MonoTwitter. Still, despite this solid fact, neither of the two had heard any sort of confirmation that Luka was around.
A heavy concern, indeed.
With Johnny still in his arms, Gyro was prepared for the worst. With memories recently returning to him, he recalled times of being an 'EXECUTIONER'. He’d seen many dead, but would he be ready for what was beyond the locked door? Let’s find out.
"Alright, I’m going. You sending a message to her?" He knew that when it came to the music room, Luka was easily scared. Glancing at the screen of the device, his thoughts were confirmed. He would wait until the message was sent, and just a few moments after.
Before he lifted his leg, he noted some sort of ‘SOUND’. Was that banging and creaking? Gyro only contemplated this for a moment before he kicked the door, the sound of its crashing overpowering the previous noises by far.
Despite that, the sight he beheld was enough to put itself before any sound. Gyro heard practically nothing as the 'CORPSE' of their mutual friend hung before them, as if it was some sort of sick show.
His arms failed, and Johnny was dropped to the floor.
"… J-Johnny."

She didn't come back that morning. Johnny had heavy concerns.
The day before was fun, at least he thought so. Both of them shared a rather enthusiastic movie 'THING', one that helped further push Johnny's memories along all while giving Luka a bit of entertainment along side of his company. She had fun. He had fun. Why did she just... vanish?
What happened to her?
Now, Johnny knew the girl well enough to know of her fascination and attachment to the 'MUSIC ROOM'. Perhaps something spooked her and she sought out solace there. Still, without a word afterwards. Not a response for Gyro, whereas she is typically quick and witty with them. That's a cause for concern.
Gyro had the same concerns-- after all, he was the one seeking her attention through the 'DEVICE' in the first place. It was their collaborative decision to head up to the 'MUSIC ROOM'. Gyro had to carry him. There's no way Johnny could make it upstairs in time if there was a time restraint. In times like this, he's thankful that Gyro exists.
The door's 'LOCKED', it looks like. Neither he nor Gyro could open it under normal circumstances. Why did she lock herself in? Without telling him, even?
"Dammit. Kick it down or something...!" Please be alright, Luka. Still, it would be wise to let her know beforehand, right? Pulling out his 'MONOMESSENGER', he sent a quick message to her.
don't freak out, alright, it's just me and gyro. we're coming in.
Please be okay, Luka. Please, as one of Johnny's only friends here, one of the few he could feel safe and comfortable around, be okay.

Those words were foreign, yet they hit so close to home at the same time. Johnny, unable to understand fully at first, followed along with the conversation. Blue eyes were scanning the screen as new messages popped up.
New messages. New notifications. New...
New. New memories.
He did not understand the significance until now.
>> And dying for people you love.
Dying. Zeppeli. Dying Zeppeli.
'DYING'. Why was this so significant to Johnny? Why? Try as he might, but the significance did not come until moments after. Memories struck like a freight train, tossing the blond into a state of dizziness. Memories flooded in-- memories of a 'GYRO ZEPPELI' and a death that came all too soon. At that point in time...
At that point in time, he was... Everything is still so vague, but...
Ah. Is Johnny 'CRYING'? Why is that...

Oh. The only mistake he remembers was one that was most apparent with his father's treatment towards him. Recalling those events, being the only ones he remembers, is like looking back at what happened yesterday. Brows furrowed together. Nicholas wouldn't be dead if it weren't for him.
'Being born,' was what Johnny would have said if he had not stopped himself. Instead, he muses for another alternative answer. "None of your business."

Once out of the school where do you wish to live?
... Where would he go? Was there somewhere he wanted to be and he simply doesn't remember it? Johnny's memories of the outside world are faded into near obscurity, the blond not knowing what half of the world is even like. Could he even live alone in an unknown world, he also wonders. With his 'DISABILITY', living alone would be difficult.
Then came the question of whether or not he wished to leave in the first place. Yes, Hope's Peak is Hell on Earth, however, what he remembers from his home, it wasn't very fun, either. "Actually," the blond began at last, "I'd just live in the school forever."

It didn't take long until his device went off with a violent vibration. He should really keep that thing either on silent or away from his person. Or ask Luka if there's a way to make the vibrating a little less powerful on his person. Nevertheless, when Johnny checks his messages again, he has received a response from 'GYRO ZEPPELI'. Perfect. He seems like he's all for meeting up somewhere.
It's odd, really. Him of all people, the very boy who did not like associating with any of the 'FAKERS' in the school, is asking someone to meet up with him. Could he be 'TRUSTED', Johnny wonders. What if this man is dangerous? There's always going to be that possibility. Even the happiest-sounding individuals can house an inner demon. With the quickness, Johnny responds.

im in the hall near the dorms right now. if we cross paths, we can talk on the way to the kitchen.
God, he's hungry.
With how slow his pace is, checking his monomessenger every now and again, Johnny's progress down the halls is incredibly stunted. After all, you can't maneuver a wheelchair and tweet at the same time. Both actions require 'TWO HANDS'. With any luck, Gyro will stumble upon the handicapped student near the lower-numbered dormitories. If this man is connected to him in some way, then surely he knows about where he's from, right?
around the bend - - { johnny + gyro }
Right now, Gyro’s still learning a little bit about his surroundings, both socially and area-wise. A school of 'MUTUAL KILLING', something that would be hard to believe at first. However, after seeing some of the characters on MonoTwitter, suddenly it’s not so far off.
He’d been wandering through the halls, glancing down at his MonoMessenger every few steps. Yes, definitely some characters to keep an eye out for. While cracking some stupid jokes, he’s keeping a mental notepad full of basic information on who he’s interacted with thus far. He already sees a few characters to be especially noted, such as the queer doctor who had made strange claims.
He’d apparently stolen parts from a corpse, specifically an 'EYEBALL'. Why was he singled out? Maybe it was because he was the new kid. However, he had not been the only one terrorized by the doctor. A young man by the name of Johnny, he did not know his full name at this point in time.
Speak of the devil, he felt the device vibrate in his hands. Letting out a quiet yelp, he stared down at the technology, squinting at the words. New message, huh? From ’JOHNNY JOESTAR’. This’ll be worth looking at.
… So he wants to meet up. He’ll bite.

actually, no. i was gonna ask you the same thing eventually. where do you want to meet?
He remembered reading words of Johnny being crippled. With the school’s lack of ramps and elevators, he’d assume Johnny’s available locations would be limited. With this thought crossing his mind, Gyro moved to the nearest stairwell, making his way back down to the first floor. He’d assume that’s where he’d find wherever Johnny would want to meet, anyway.

around the bend - - { johnny + gyro }
Kitchen trips are rare nowadays. Typically, food would be left in the empty dorm he would spend his nights in. Night away from his festive room mates, when he wished to be alone for a little while. Those were quite common nowadays. With his only social solace being nightly meet-ups with Luka, Johnny needed some way to spend the days without running into his typical hassles. So far, however, he has not seen much trace of them. Not Proton. Not Petrel. None of them. Hell, today, his room mate is being civil and inviting to him for a change. It wasn't as though Johnny 'TRUSTED' such a notion, however, it's nice to experience every once and awhile.
There, then, came the question of the crazy doctor's claims on the public network earlier. At first, he claimed that only Johnny held some sort of 'CORPSE' in his arm. Really? A corpse? How crazy. By now, Johnny is used to those claims. He's been called a zombie, too. How many students will find new ways to belittle or bully him, he briefly wonders. However, another student was lumped into those outrageous claims. A Gyro Zeppeli. That was the name listed on the monotwitter system. Why him? Is it because he's new, too? Come to think of it, Johnny has not seen this Gyro Zeppeli around since his arrival. Perhaps he is new.
No matter. Now, Johnny exits the cave he calls room #202. It was empty at this point in time, which was a plus for him. Now, he wanted to stretch his legs a bit in the metaphorical sense. Even then, something kept nagging him. Of all people that the doctor could have harassed, it had to be the new kid with the grill. Why him?
He thought for a moment. Do they share a 'PAST' that Johnny isn't aware of? Brows knitted together, frustrated beyond believe, the blond pulled out his monomessenger. It's worth a shot in asking. He has to know if they come from the same place or not. A familiar sight or a familiar person will definitely help him remember more of his own 'PAST', however, the memory of his father has him questioning whether or not he wanted to.
