Have you heard anything about Lewis' bad behaviour on dating apps in Bristol? Multiple women with stories of him being weird/manipulative/lying then ghosting? He's been posted about by several women on local Facebook groups warning about his behaviour.

Reading through it I'm not sure abusive is quite the right word to describe Zoey and Fionn's situation. Everyone knows that Zoey has been riddled with what basically amounts to crippling anxiety forever. I get more the impression that Zoey was dependent on Fionn for most of their relationship for her function and that 6 months ago it came to a breaking point where they just couldn't do that anymore. It sounds more like a grown up became fed up and too stressed with having to care for another grown up because she can't function rather out of malice.

Whilst it took 6 months for whatever reason, I am aware that Fionn had made comments about it - saying things like "one of my new partners" for example. I would imagine most in their community either suspected or just outright knew that it had happened long before it was announced by them.

Somewhat ironically however, when I would watch their co streams years ago, I was always under the impression that it was the other way round, Fionn had the tendency to be short fused and yell at Zoey when she messed up something in a game. Maybe that was just their frustration of the situation being released, who knows.

It sounds more like a grown up became fed up and too stressed with having to care for another grown up because she can't function rather out of malice.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I think everyone understands about the importance of compassion regarding mental health but it also sounds like Fionn has been Zoey's emotional donkey for a decade and that's no good either.

I don't see Zoey getting better in the short or long term, and I think it's going to be a good thing for Fionn to cut free of the collapse. I'm betting Fionn was frustrated with Zoey, that was probably apparent when they streamed together, and this is the solution.

I think everyone idolizes the "depressive partner/nurturing partner" relationship online, but it's fucked, dependent, and unhealthy. Treating Fizone like it was going to be a magical exception for various reasons is probably some sort of ist-bic-ism word but I don't know which.

I watched the Fionn Zoey breakup announcement? I got some real weird vibes from Fionn on this. Like I don't understand why both of them waited 6 months to say anything. It felt abusive (for a lack of better words) Especially when Fionn said they could not tell anyone even people close to them.

I got the same feeling. Even if it's not quite to the mark of abuse, probably something like this:

The fact that it had to be kept secret for so long is incredibly dubious, it really sounds like the wait caused Fionn a lot of unnecessary grief and anxiety, and for whose benefit? I don't have a hard time picturing Zoey throwing it onto Fionn's back like "you're already carrying the rest of my problems, you don't mind making all your interactions with people into a circus for half a year on my behalf, do you?"

Fionn and Zoey have broken up (Fionn's last stream, More Truckin'? right near the start, they then talk about it for like 40 minutes) and that's why there's no Fizone stream this year. I'll say this- if you had presented me with this news five years ago I wouldn't have had cliches and archetypes to explain what Fionn is talking about, but... nowadays...

after a ten year relationship, Zoey has been living alone

this is somehow something Zoey needs help with and there is some doubt as to how the 31-year-old will get by

Zoey hasn't streamed since October and won't be at Jingle jam at all

the writing was on the wall for their relationship since last winter

they broke up about six months ago and separated their patreons around the same time

Zoey declined to make the breakup announcement until now, Fionn only did it because it would be unavoidable

Fionn says there are things Zoey is "working on" mentally and trying to get into a better place with

Fionn was afraid announcing it would cause the audience to leave but couldn't hold off until after the Jingle Jam because there won't be a Fizone stream. Fionn is afraid of seeming like an accessory, disposable now that Zoey is gone.

Zoey left Fionn to announce the breakup instead of doing it personally. Fionn phrases this as "taking charge" of it.

They are on good terms but Fionn indicates a lot of stress leading up to the breakup.

Fionn's twitter has been conspicuously inactive during the same time span that this has been going on, Zoey's has not

I haven't really kept tabs on the Yogscast since 2015, I paid attention a little in 2019 when Turps, Caff, and Sjin were ousted and they still wanted to host YogCon. I still check this blog at least once a month to see if anything has happened and the longer I see between posts, the better I feel. Thank you for your service.

Oh no, I bet there's still dogshit going on, I've just become more reliant on people to tell me and obviously there's less and less of that through attrition.

I still use Tumblr but I just look at my dash and get notifications when someone sends an ask in.

To bring you some 'drama' that should belong in 2013 era Tumblr, someone on here is making a poll tournament of fan art ships of yogs mc characters. I normally would just say, whatever, idiots are everywhere, but the video I just posted had a segment about the Yogscast's fanbase that I think resonates well with this particular strain of crap.

I don't know how they've survived this long, it's been like 8 or 9 years since the era of MCRP these people are obsessed with. I'm not ignorant of fixation, I'm not autistic myself but I get hooked hard on things I like and have trouble letting go of them, as bad or worse as my friends. But 9 years of fixation over content that's not even being made, and isn't even that good...

These aren't the people who sat in the way when Sjin and Turps were being ousted, that's a different subset, but the fixation is the same. Why would they put Ridgedog in there? Why Turps? Why Minty? Nostalgia isn't so impervious that standing Minty up anywhere near Lewis shouldn't feel twisted.

These people, and I have never meant it more sternly than I do now, need to go outside and touch grass.

As I already established, repeatedly, Paul came back from there a long time ago, and if Lewis wanted to meet Paul in secret they could just link up in any random corner of the UK, or even Paul's house, because they're not that famous that anyone they saw irl would notice or care.

No, Lewis is just turning 40 this year, and has no kids, and probably lives in a studio apartment with a metal folding chair and a TV on the ground like most men in his position. So the money is spent on Japan.

Possible, but I'm pretty sure been back to operating out of Bristol again for some time, since he somewhat recently said he had to take time off due to construction at his Bristol home.

I can take comfort knowing most people make more in a few days than he does in a month at the most optimistic estimate on Patreon.

There is a special Discord he's got for patrons, which I bet is like a nightmare inside, but if I'm ever fucking stupid enough to look in there I'll have to be careful that the sole joiner of the month isn't obviously me appearing at the exact same time that the stupidest screenshots of that place appear on this blog...

Also, I got the messages about Ped, don't stab me or anything but I'm slapping an Everyone Sucks Here label on it. Ped sucks for leading people on when they're clearly getting obsessive and parasocial with him, the people complaining suck for huffing his farts so hard that they forgot everyone is still strangers on the internet. At the very least, Ped went about his groupie-fucking in the most tasteful way possible, to the point I haven't seen the groupies themselves complain (but I might have missed it), but he's still a classless piece of shit. And half the accusations in the document amount to "I offloaded my serious personal problems on someone I don't actually know on the internet, and he told me to go away, I want him fired."

They all suck.

maybe the 14 year old should have just gotten a registered agent so that next time he tried to steal money from the internet, grown women would have to speak to his lawyer and not his principal
