Aging is weird bc I don’t think many things have really changed about me since I graduated high school, but I also feel like I am a completely different person than I was 5 years ago.

Like a lot of the same people and things that were important to me then are still THE MOST important things to me now, but when I try and get into that girl’s head and remember how she felt and why she behaved as she did and how she saw the world… that’s not me. And those two things exist simultaneously

when I see something dated 2019 I think “oh that’s not too long ago” and then I remember that 2019 was not only five years ago but those five years have somehow contained several lifetimes

Like the MC gets followed around by the ghost of a demon that reminds me of a cross between the skull and Bartimaeus, the writing of said teenage MC is so good and fun. She sees ghosts! There’s time travel! There’s a stupid boy and a less stupid best friend! It falls into a lot of overdone 2013 ya tropes and manages to subvert most of them and do the other few convincingly!

I don't hate DBD- I hate Netflix

This article lays out the reasons that L&Co fans went feral this week over the DBD trailer. Most of us wish no ill will towards the show (seriously- good luck to them) but the fact that NF immediately stopped promoting L&Co the VERY FUCKING DAY they acquired DBD is a kick in the teeth.

Let us suppose that the "average" horse would have equal proportions of all these parts. The degree to which each part in this poll deviates from the "average" size (20% of total) will determine how large or small that part of our horse will be (i.e a horse with only 10% in Legs will have legs half the size of the average horse).
