Just set up a new workshop. Once it's all organised (hehe hehe, it's chaos!) I'll share images and videos. I'd like people to see where the ideas come from (from the chaos!). Meanwhile, I've been adding a few bits to my Numonday shop. Taking photos is fun. I have 3 spots at the side of my house. A tree stump, a rock and a fence. All 3 are close together. I'll take a box of completed pieces out and be supervised throughout by senior management. I'll include a photo of the manager. She's always part of the photo sequence.

Made to use up mixed red resin, I like the effect. Mixing mica powder results in a mass of bubbles, which can be removed with a lighter, but sometimes they add to the overall effect. This one has the effect of a sparkling cocktail. And that white mica looks pink here.

I love making over the top rings. They are exactly what I wear myself. However, I'm never too sure of the quality of the commercially available ring findings. They don't do harm, I know this because I wear them, but I wanted to try one with just resin. I don't often use the ring mould, I have a tendency to overfill it.

Raindrop Rose Ring
I'm really pleased with the way this one came out. Will make more of them. I nearly kept this for myself, but it's in the shop. I'm doing another stall at the Nevis Centre on 1st April, so having some nice new stock is a plus. Explosion Pendant
I bought a set of metallic mica powders last year and have had very little success with them. The resin rarely cures well. If cured in layers, the resin from a "cured layer" rises to mix with the next layer. That's what happened here to create an explosion effect. With the crushed glass pieces exploding out of the gap like lava (damn, should have used a volcanic name). Anyway, it's in the shop.

Soapy Bubbles Pendant
So, using the pink toned bubbles on a pink background has made the yellow in some of them stand out. In contrast, the multitoned white mica just looks white here. Reminds me a little of a soap bar.

Black and White Bubbles Pendant
I really love these decorative bubbles. I have them in white, pink, and rainbow colours. I used the rainbow ones here to stand out against the mica powder. It's my favourite white powder with pink and blue tones. The black is a mix of powder and dye. Solid black is a challenge in resin, too much, and it doesn't cure, too little, and it looks thin. Phoenix Pendant. I've not had much inspiration recently. Since the craft fairs, some of my moulds were packed away as I'd intended to work on the stalls. I'm just starting to get back to creating. This one is similar to my swan designs, but the flame colours made me think of a Phoenix.
