I fully believe clay would be a great partner, but like all relationships, they'll have their flaws. Despising the label “fun one” Clay keeps a professional attitude at almost all times, finding anything remotely fun as a waste of time. He'll lead you a Merry chase before even considering indulging in your pranks. When deep down, he seriously craves it.
Although, let's be honest, Clay is just naturally funny without meaning too. In fact, if you ever pointed it out, he'd try everything in his power to prevent it. Fruitless attempt.

Clay has a super sensitive scalp which you take full advantage of when you snuggle, and though it's a hassle to detangle that tousled hair it's all worth it to hear those cute purrs :p

Clay has changed a lot in the past few years, and I highly doubt anyone would recognize him as “BroZones” fun one. But in that impossible scenario, asking him to sing a BroZones song is kind of a no. He loves you ! He really does but he isn't too keen on relieving the “glory days”. But he'd totally sing something else for you. In private. But don't you ever think of bringing up the ,,, “funderdrawers”

Omg he'd totally invite you to his sad book club, it's all just hugging and stuff, and crying, lots of crying. He really wants to hug you so he constantly tries to persuade you into coming, even if you don't like reading all that much, who are you to deny a face like that.

Maybe after some time he'll stop being so uptight, he's desperate to prove he's the opposite of what everyone thinks he is. If you truly understand Clay and his need for respect, he won't be so aloof to the idea of goofing around from time to time.

I really don't see Clay as clingy or overprotective, in fact he gives you an insane amount of freedom to the point you think he doesn't want you around.
Which, NO!!! NO I just doubt Clay has had any prior experiences with love so he doesn't exactly know how much and/or how little of something he should do. (He's an independent fella).
