I totally get we wish to enjoin the Muslim ummah instead of divide it, but my GOD I can’t explain the anger and frustration that comes over me when some followers of Ahlul-Sunnah “try” to explain their grief over The Tragedy of Karbala but cannot bring themselves to speak of Imam Hussein (a.s) as an infallible. They put (r) after his name. With all disrespect intended, they do not truly feel grief for Imam Hussein (a.s) nor his Holy Family (a.s) when they openly express their support for the killers of Imam Hussein (a.s) and their forefathers. You cannot love both The Ahlulbayt (a.s) and their killers simulatanoulsy. “Allah has not made for any man two hearts within his body.” — Quran [33:4]

This year I got to experience Arbaeen in Najaf and Karbala for is the first time. I’m speechless as to how generous and selfless everyone is. The atmosphere is beautiful and I want to re-live this moment again and again. Kids, Elderly, Disabled, millions gathered together all for the love of Aba Abduillah. God bless those who are serving the zowar and those who are on this journey. May Allah grant all Tawfiq to march on Arbaeen in the future. يا حسين

Imam Khomeini's (ra) 14 recommendations to the Youth:
- Carry out the five ritual prayers at the prescribed times
- Fast on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Reduce the time for your sleep and read more often the Quran
- Pay attention to very promises and agreements and keep them .
- Give the needy donations [ sadaqah ] .
- Keep yourself away from slander.
- Do not take part in festivities with much spending and luxury and also don’t organize such festivals .
- Wear simple clothes.
- Do not talk much .
- Work out (gymnastics , hiking, mountain climbers , wrestling, swimming ) .
- Read a lot (religious , social, political , scientific and philosophical articles, quotes , speeches … ) .
- Learn Technical ( driving, mechanics, electricity ) .
- Learn Arabic pronunciation and grammar
- Forget your good deeds , but remember your previous sins.
