2022 and beyond will hold some great opportunities, therefore, we are encouraging you to be open to all Niches. Yesterday’s teaching was about finding your Niche (singular), today and beyond is about discovering your Niches. If you feel like giving attention to Earbuds one day, Faux Leather Leggings the next or whatever, there’s no limit in 2022 and BEYOND. A Niche shouldn’t have to be a marriage contract. As complex as our lives are, so are our Passions. I don’t need to know your goals to encourage you not to get locked in on one Niche (unless you choose to).Feel free to express your instinct, knowing good and well, it will probably change. Change is probably one of the most obvious things that is universally agreed on.. Lastly, whether you’re Blogging, YouTubing, Marketing or doing all three simultaneously, feel free to change your Niche as often as you like, or as the trends dictate. Above all else, remember your goals are to add Value and Solve problems.

IS DONALD TRUMP ABOVE THE LAW

We were traumatized by the sickness and death of the coronavirus pandemic that he could have contained and defeated. Our crippled economy created widespread depression and anxiety. Trump’s racism, xenophobia, misogyny, nativism, white supremacy and violence were all disturbing forces. His grifting and bashing of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution revealed his shameless greed. His politicization of the Department of Justice for his own personal gain was corruption at its core. And his incitement of the insurrection of our democratic election on Jan. 6 was illegal and the behavior of an authoritarian. (Alan D. Blotcky). Trump’s coup attempt was beyond frightening, and almost certainly illegal. So what do we do in this country when people do illegal things? Well, usually we prosecute them…George Conway.

I was reluctant to write this blog because so much is constantly in the news about the corruption of Trump. Whether you’re talking about Trump’s poor handling of the Coronavirus or his deception to his supporters about the presidential election. All the major network media is in overdrive (except Fox News), pointing out his criminal activities and corrupt behavior. Book sales are at an all-time high basically saying the same thing (Trump is guilty), the only difference between the books is the authors and the titles. Trump’s lawlessness behavior, corrupt mentality, and lack of good moral character has kept him in the spotlight for more than four years. Trump is popular for all the wrong reasons, and knowing what we know of him, why hasn’t Trump been convicted?

Is Donald Trump above the law? I cannot speak for you, but I have grown tired and weary hearing about Trump breaking another law or peddling a new lie. In 2017 FBI Director Mueller, begun an investigation into Donald Trump’s campaign using a foreign country to help him win the presidential election. The investigation was called The Russia Investigation. Mueller testified before Congress on July 24, 2019. Mueller explained that Trump could not be criminally charged because of a long-standing Justice Department policy prohibiting the indictment of a sitting president. Ken Buck (a Republican Congressman), asked Mueller, “could you, charge the president of the United States with obstruction of justice after he left office”? Mueller replied, “Yes” (USA, July 24, 2019, by Ken Bredemeier). As we all now know, this was only the beginning of the many offenses made by Donald Trump.

A part of me feels a little sad for the Democrat Party, who are constantly demonized by Fox News and Trump’s supporters, for trying to hold Donald Trump accountable for his bad behavior. Trump is much like a bad, strong-willed child, who thinks he should be praised for manipulating a poor uneducated homeless person out of their last penny. Nothing is beneath him, winning means everything to him, even at all cost. On December 18, 2019, The United States House Of The 116th Representatives Congress adopted two Articles of impeachment against Donald Trump for abuse of power, and obstruction of Congress. Trump, once again, did it again. In the 2016 presidential election, Trump used Russia; in the 2020 presidential election, Trump used the Ukraine. Thank God, it didn’t work. Trump got impeached for doing so, and Joe Biden won the presidential election. Trump’s second impeachment was for “incitement of insurrection” attack on the U.S. capitol (Jan. 6, 2021). Apparently Trump decided to take the election by force, since the Ukrainian bit were unsuccessful.

Trump is so obsessed with winning that he allowed hundreds of thousands of Americans to die from the Coronavirus because he wanted to play it down (President Donald Trump acknowledged the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic in a February interview with journalist Bob Woodward and acknowledged downplaying the threat in an interview a month later, according to an account in Woodward’s book…RAGE). Trump was determined not to allow a deadly virus to get in the way of his re-election campaign. Writing such a statement of an American president would have been unconscionable before Trump. After all, no American president would have allowed its citizens to die for personal gain,, unless you’re Donald Trump.

81 million Americans voted for Joe Biden, sadly and confusing, 74 million voted for Donald Trump. The Trump experimentation as president was deadly and toxic every day for four years, and every night was a nightmare. I can’t imagine democracy sustaining another four years of Trumpism.

I cannot say that all of Trump’s supporters are racist, but I will say that most of all the racist groups in America support Trump. Trump has repeatedly been endorsed by white supremacist groups and other far-right extremists, and they’ve looked to him as a source of encouragement…(from the Insider by John Haltiwanger Sep 30, 2020). If embracing racism translates into victory, Trump is all in. The one true consistent fact about Donald Trump is winning, winning by any means necessary and at all cost. This is Trump’s doctrine.

Americans have been shocked, outreached, angry, sad, and now confused. What is it about Trump, that has made the Judicial system unable to function as it once did? We’ve all heard of others who have done far fewer crimes and the Justice department worked just as it should. I cannot continue watching Trump do something ignorant, say something stupid, or discovering a new crime he committed, without holding him accountable. Trump has repeatedly thrown up his middle finger at our Judicial system, as he goes around campaigning for the upcoming presidential election in 2024. Therefore, the question must be asked,

DEMOCRACY IN TROUBLE

We have all heard that our country was founded on the idea that “all men are created equal.” That is certainly what Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Unfortunately, ideas are often quite different from actions. The day America adopted slavery was a slow walk to death of Democracy. Rich and educated white politicians came together and established their personal desires rather than doing what would be best to build a solid foundation for a new nation. Owning a human being as property was more important to them, as absurd as it is. They knew it was wrong, diabolical, and sinister, yet they did it anyway. Slavery is America’s greatest sin because it was a willful act that Americans took pleasure in. Slave Masters were merciless toward their slaves. Female slaves were raped by their masters, forced to breastfeed white babies, or simply used as sex toys for entertainment purposes. These women in bondage were habitually ravished, harassed, sexually stalked, and used as long-term concubines not only by their masters, but by the owners’ families and friends, as well. White Americans treated Black people as their property for more than 400 years. From the rich & powerful ones, down to the poorest, dumb, and ignorant, they all abused the Black race. On Sunday mornings, White Americans would flock to their churches to thank their God for giving them human beings as their property. Of course, none would say such a thing out loud because they knew it was wrong, but they did it anyway. It’s impossible to explain away, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”, as obtained in the Declaration of Independence. Admittedly, they recognize the value of all lives. Slavery was a choice by the founders that America cannot escape from its karma.

The damage is done. Today, many White Americans believe they are the victim, especially the poor, uneducated Whites. It’s difficult for many Black Americans to understand how White Americans could feel victimized. After all, slavery and Jim Crow never happened to them. What if we could interview a few Slaves of 400 years ago and get their take on a white master feeling victimized? Absurd and ridiculous, right? Of course, it is.

Today’s Republicans (which is made up of mostly White people) seem to miss the Jim Crow era, so much so, they created slogans, “Take back our country” and “Make America Great Again”. White Americans were taught to hate Black people from the beginning, and even though many have learned better since then, far too many are still ignorant in their thoughts, thus in their dealings.

Republicans feel justified in making voting more difficult for people of color (especially for Black Americans living in predominantly Black communities). It seems every time Black Americans gain ground politically and economically, White Republicans find reasons to change the system. I’m not sure who brings out the worse in each other; The Republican party, Fox News or Donald Trump? Maybe they all are looking at America through the same old racist lens?

America is at a crossroads, and I’m not sure if our Democracy will survive. Racist White folks have dug in on their White Supremacy thoughts, while Fox News has wrongfully helped their false belief. Most Republican supporters watch Fox News; they tend to believe them, rightly or wrongly, because if Fox said it, they believe it.

Yesterday, it was Antifa’s fault for whatever was wrong with America; today, it’s Woke & Cancel-Culture. The propaganda machine at Fox really knows how to fire up its base. Meanwhile, the Republicans are canceling anyone who will not go along with the Big Lie —the election was stolen from Trump. Liz Cheney loses House Republican leadership post.

America’s founders had a choice; they willfully chose slavery and kept it alive for more than 400 years; they did not choose democracy and now it’s at the brink of falling apart.

The Republican Party has given over to the Extreme Right. In fact, they don’t believe they can win an election on ideals anymore. They have accepted defeat to the extreme and are now ready to be 100% loyal to Trump’s racist rhetoric and are ready to commit to voter suppression towards people of color as the Law of the land. Judging by the current realities in the Republican camp, it’s possible they will change their name to The Trumplican Party. By all standards the Republican party has become a personality cult.

Should the Trumplican Party eventually have their way, be ready to kiss Democracy goodbye!

Americans, it is very possible the Trumplicans will be in complete control of both chambers of government (House of Representative and the Senate), as well as have control over most of the Southern States’ government. That means Bubba with the Rebel flag will have the final word on who he says, won the elections.

The day America adopted Slavery was a slow walk to death of Democracy. What if America’s Founding Fathers had made a different choice, one which was consistent to the words they wrote in The Declaration of Independence ?

Unfortunately, they chose Slavery. Maybe, that’s why one of the founder said, “A Republic, if you can keep it”

Black people are survivors, from slavery to Jim Crow, from segregation to integration; Black Americans are like the poem by Maya Angelou, “STILL I RISE”. You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise. Black Americans have a lot of bright, smart, intelligent people. Sadly, most Americans aren’t listening to them, maybe because they’ve been brainwashed not to value Black people or their opinions. We can only imagine, what if the Founders had chosen Democracy over Slavery?

KILLING CHRIST

Jesus himself warns us: “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves” (Matthew 7:15 NLT).

To compare great leaders to Christ is concerning, but to compare Donald Trump to Jesus Christ is downright blasphemy.

Conservative pundits get extremely defensive about their unyielding loyalty to Trump. Fox News and Conservative Talk Radio may not have compared Trump to Christ overtly, but they have created and given a platform to people who do.

Billy Graham, was once a household name, he was the largest religious figure in America. Although he’s no longer living, his name lives on. Graham’s son, The 700 Club, Paula White, Kenneth Copeland, and other widely known religious leaders, have given their support to Trump. These religious leaders preached that Trump was sent by and from God to save us, much like Christ.

Thirty pieces of silver was the price for which Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus, according to an account in the Gospel of Matthew 26:15

I often wonder, how much money did Trump pay these so-call religious leaders to support him and to trick their congregation to support him?

Major News networks would not give these religious zealots a platform, but they were always welcome on Fox News and Conservative Talk Radio without any push back or corrections.

Conservatives and most Southern Baptist preachers, teachers, and leaders have done a disservice to America and to millions of faith believing Christian, by shoving Trumpism as Christ-like.

Before he was crucified, Jesus was scourged. Romans would strip a man of his clothing, and flog his back, buttocks, and legs. A Roman soldier would have used a flagellum, a whip of several strands, perhaps 3 feet long, and each strand would have jagged pieces of lead and/or sheep bone in them to rip open the flesh. Romans were not limited by the Jewish law of 39 strokes. And the Roman soldiers didn’t just flog Jesus. They added a crown of thorns: they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. And kneeling before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” 3And they spit on him and took the reed and struck him on the head. Matthew 27:29-30

Some people will do almost anything for money, Judas Iscariot turned over Christ, today-some are doing the same thing for political expedient, and of course for money. It’s really sad and painful to watch. Must Christ be crucified again today for the same things he already died for yesterday?

New Living Translation He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. I don’t recall seeing this side of Trump. On the contrary, I have seen Biden suffer from grief and sorrows; Biden lost twice running for President.

Luke 6:35 Verse Concepts But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He, Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. Can anyone honestly say, these values resemble Donald Trump?

When I think of all the hateful words and things Trump has said and done, I find it irresponsible for anyone to possibly confuse and connect Trump’s values to that of Christ.

What are you willing to ignore about Trump? Hundreds and thousands of Americans dying from the Coronavirus? Children placed in cages separated from their families? Calling Africa and other Countries Shit-hole-countries? Promoting White Nationalists, “Good on both sides” …the list is endless, which is why I’m deeply disturbed by the Christ they see in Trump.

This Presidential election has revealed a great deal of information to us all. Conservatives are exceedingly happy to have received over 71 million American voters. The rest of us, 75 million and more, are happy and sad at the same time. We’re sad because racism is still too strong in our country-we’re happy because we have a new President and the first woman (woman of color) as vice president.

Unlike the Right, we do not see Joe Biden as a Christ, but we are hopeful that he will strive to be a character of principle and truthful.

The Bible teaches that Christ was crucified for our sins, that we may live. This powerful teaching gets harder to preach and teach when others keep bringing Christ down to become equal to men like Trump. The thought is despicable and is driven by greed. Nonetheless, prosperity preachers did their best to manipulate not only Americans, but Christ, his Angels, and the weather to reelect Trump.

Trump’s so-call spiritual advisor (Paula White), tried to send Angels from Africa to help Trump win the Presidency. Apparently Minister White is suffering from amnesia because the Bible clearly states that God is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Place the word truth next to Donald Trump and let that soak in for a moment.

Paula Michelle White-Cain; April 20, 1966) is an American preacher, author, televangelist and exponent of prosperity theology, a controversial religious belief which claims that material prosperity is a sign of God’s grace.

When the death and resurrection of Christ is reduced to Prosperity theology, it opens the door for some to promote Trump as God’s chosen one. This kind of teaching is sacrilegious, but fake preachers are getting rich from this kind of teaching. The thought of Killing Christ’s teaching is irrelevant to these prosperity preachers. These types of preachers are more similar to Trump than they are to God. They pretend to care for the poor, while they live in mansion, their real love is money and power which is why they love Trump. Their teaching is perverted, it’s impossible for them to save the lost, when they are lost.

Trump has done a lot of bad things to this country, the hatred between the two parties has escalated to the verge of eruption- we need healing.

Manipulating the gospel of Christ for one’s wealth is not only diabolical, it’s dangerous. If we allow these types of teachers to continue, normalcy will become abnormal, and our democracy will fail, because a house divided cannot stand.

The Paula White’s of this world will lie to you to get your money. Had she read the good book, she would have learned that money cannot save you or buy love. Paula’s teaching is powerless and destructive, we don’t need a spiritual advisor Killing a Christ, rather, resurrecting a Christ, for democracy’s sake. Since the election is over, hope is renewed. The possibilities of coming together as Americans again, finding a cure to the virus, dealing with systemic racism, all this and more are now possible since Donald Trump is no longer President.

The election is now over and Trump is refusing to accept the fact that he lost. Perhaps he believed Paula White, when she said, “I hear the sound of rain” (the only sound she heard was money falling in her bank account) perhaps he believed she could bully God to save his presidency- or maybe he had forgotten Paula is much like him, places greed over humanity. To take advantage of the most vulnerable is like Killing Christ’s reasons for existing. Many of these prosperity preacher’s congregation are made-up of poor people and people of color. It’s clearly understandable why so many Americans are skeptical about religion and Christ.

OUR DEMOCRACY

Democracy – is a form of government in which the people have the authority to choose their governing legislation. Who people are and how authority is shared among them are core issues for democratic theory, development, and constitution. Cornerstones include freedom of assembly and speech, inclusiveness, and equality …

Our Democracy is broken, but it is repairable. Democracy doesn’t begin nor end with one person. We are an multiracial and multicultural nation trying to coexist together. For some people this may seems like an impossible task. Our failure to understand that the human race is the only race, makes it more difficult to achieve the kind Democracy which would allow us to respect, understand, accept, and celebrate our differences.

People with too much money and power have tried to create a democracy fit for some, but not for all. The power of government, thus our democracy lies with us, We The People. I still believe when enough ordinary people come together, we can do extraordinary things, even change the direction of government.

During election season, the corrupt rich and powerful are willing to spend billions to prevent change. Admittedly, they’ve been quite successful in the past. The play book was simple, create a falsehood, have Fox News consistently repeat it, then the rest of the news industry will carry it out as well . Two years ago, the news industry came together (except Fox News), and agreed not to allow their judgment to be manipulated without a thorough investigation of the subject matter. Fox News on the other hand, was and is open to receiving as much money as they possibly can irregardless of whether the story is factual, or not; they don’t care if it could literally kill our democracy, it doesn’t seem to bother them one bit.

Disregarding our toxic new system, It’s a new day in America whereby every group is demanding their voice be heard and action be taken on behalf of their concerns. New Orleans, Louisiana may be famous for Jazz and Football but its most famously known for its food, namely Gumbo. Louisianians will tell you, “make a good roux first cher, then you put a little bit of this and a little bit of dat”. I know, it doesn’t makes sense, but it taste so good. America must become like a great tasting Gumbo for our Democracy to survive today and beyond. Like a good roux, we must accept and respect our differences. We are capable of learning from our past, growing from our past, and moving from our past.

It’s probably safe to say that America’s Founding Fathers did not mean to include their Slaves and other indigenous people when they were framing The Laws to Govern and sustain our Democracy. When they wrote, “All men are created equal” I don’t think they had their Slaves in mind. I don’t mean to relitigate our past, but it’s well documented that the Founding Fathers saw their Slaves as less than Humans.

The Framers thought their writings were universally understood by White Americans only, primarily White men only. On the other hand, the Framers had no idea Slaves would have had the audacity to think that “all men created equal” meant them too.

The Power Of Expectation: A belief that something will happen or is likely to happen. Through many trials and tribulations seemingly, we have arrived.

There is an election in front of us that will determine so much about what we are today and where we will be tomorrow. Democracy did not begin with Trump, nor will it end with him. But we cannot deny that there there is an unspoken truth that a President can delay progress. We see this almost every time we turn on our televisions. “Stand back and stand by”.

This year is different, too much has happened and Trump has reminded too many of us just how ugly our past was. We have to make the choice to move forward.

Even today, Trump is asking us to go back (Make America Great Again) instead of moving forward. Sadly, as long as we have a pandemic killing hundreds and thousands of Americans, Black men getting killed by those who are supposed to protect and serve, and legislation in place that views and treats certain members of the LGBTQ+ community as less than; it’s become all too apparent that our Commander in Chief is more concerned about himself than the American people. This means that the ball is in our hands, and we are faced with the task of pushing our nation forward.

We must knit a blanket of inclusion to not only cover our history’s shame, but to ensure that we a lay a new foundation that values all Americans. Laying this new foundation doesn’t have to be a difficult task; in fact it’s as simple as contributing just a little spice to our nation’s gumbo. So on November 3rd add some some spice by voting so we can, cook a Gumbo whereby everyone contributes, to create a Democracy worth saving.

I can’t lie, I’m hoping and praying he doesn’t win, America and the majority of Americans have had enough.
