I want my characters to feel real. So sometimes that means they’re indecisive or pigheaded despite knowing they are wrong. It means they tell lies and withhold truths. They’re prideful and guilty and hopeful and pessimistic and afraid and they contradict themselves. Sometimes in the same sentence. They all have flaws and they aren’t always tempered with positive traits. Sometimes their most shining choices have selfish motives. Sometimes their selfish choices have shining motives. I just hope that whatever they are, there are moments that seem relatable.

Please don’t expect me to always be good and kind and loving. There are times when I will be cold and thoughtless and hard to understand.

What is your throne made of?
Glass
The leader who sits on a throne of glass values honesty and integrity. They rule their kingdom democratically and will uphold justice at any cost. Their intelligence and perception is unrivaled in any of the surrounding lands. They will always be transparent with their views and be true to their people and what they stand for. However, it is unwise to lie to a ruler of glass - they can see right through any deception and believe dishonesty to be the most severe of crimes.

She was the hero,
the one to bring them all together.
She was the villain,
the one who lost all she ever had.
She was the child,
the one breaking apart under everything.

I have lost not only my heart,
but the very light of my world.

At the moment, you want...
...to understand
You feel as if you cannot understand. Your heart desires to do so, but everything seems useless, or maybe like you've exhausted every possible option. You've probably tried hard, looking low and high. Opening every cabinet in the house, searching every drawer, looking under every bed. you might've ripped apart whole rooms looking, searching for exactly what you need. Maybe you feel you've run out of places to look, things to find, people to ask. The windshield is frosted over, and you're sitting in the car, waiting for it to melt on a cold, winter morning. It feels as if it’ll never defrost, impossible to see through, no matter how much heat there is. Be patient. Keep searching. You'll understand eventually, i promise.
