americans mutuals, based on this source, rep. betty mccollum has introduced a bill to prohibit us taxpayer dollars from funding the abuse of palestinian children, land theft, and ethnic cleansing. this bill so far only has 18 sponsors. the jewish voice for peace has set up a program and texting service to contact your local government representatives to urge them to co-sponsor this bill. palestinians are asking for our allyship and support in their time of need and ask that you please reach out to your local representatives in order to further spread awareness on the palestinian abuse at the hands of israel and push them to co-sponsor this bill to severe the united states’ connection and funding of israel. here is the link to the bill.

the online website will only contact your local congressman and provides a template to send an email for their support easily. here’s the link to the jewish voice for peace website.

you can also text your local representatives (representatives, congressmen, and mayor) by sending ‘RESIST’ to 50409. i have provided a template for sending a text to your local rep below, based off of the template provided by the jewish voice for peace, and that can be found below under the cut.
