よー ! How y'doing , Xiao !? ( azuuka )

' Uuugh , I'm tired ! I didn't want to wake up this morning , but Panda kept nearly kicking me out of bed ... I guess she was having a weird dream , maybe ? '

Xiaoyu rubs the lingering sleep from her eyes , yawning before plopping her head against @azuuka shoulder . ' Think I can squeeze in a nap here before we go out for lunch ... ? '

jumps up, poking her forehead rather aggressively. as if he were a disappointed parent. uh oh, what did you do, Xiaoyu?

' Hey !! '

Xiaoyu stumbles backwards , off - balance after failing to duck under his jabbing digit . ' It's cheating to move so quickly like that , y'know — you have the advantage of being an ... alien lifeform thingy ... ? '

Rubbing at her forehead , she frowns . ' What was that for , anyways ?! '

@krosakis from here ! ♚ the young girl's voice rang in his ears. the last thing Ichigo remembers is his back hitting a tree after being launched by a strong punch. “ not bleeding but ... just had no idea JACK's could hit like a truck... ”

Xiaoyu had nearly tripped over her own feet rushing to his side , the impact of body against thick stump leaving her almost certain he'd be left with a concussion . Calling for Panda , the two worked together in a frenzy ; Panda nudging into Ichigo's arm , while Xiaoyu attempted somewhat aggressively shaking him back to reality .

Maybe not the best method of checking on him , but ... he seems to have handled it well .

' Eheh ... Yeah , they can be pretty scary . I'm sure it still hurts , but , I guess we're lucky you were thrown into a tree instead of a building , or something ! Do you need help getting up ? '

why would anybody want to kill me?

Xiaoyu's expression grows heavy , weighed down by the gravity of the question presented . He can't be much older than her , right ? What could he have done to put a target on his back ?

She offers a frown , resenting her own answer . Some people didn't need a reason .

' I ... don't know . Did you make someone really mad ? N - not saying that justifies it , I mean ... ! '

' i am the ultimate life form! nothing can take me down. '

' Yes you are ! ~ You're the strongest little guy around ! ~ '

. . . She doesn't intend to mock , but hearing it from such a short & cute strange ... alien ? Animal ? Weird Dr. Bosconovitch experiment ? Whatever he is , he's so confident Xiaoyu can't help but giggle to herself .

' what an odd looking guy ... stay away from him, 何卒 ! ' ( azuuka )

' You think so ? ... I dunno , I think he was just really confused ... ! '

Protective as Asuka can be , it's no wonder she is immediately on guard . The man who had stopped her asked politely for directions , offering a long - winded story to explain how he had ended up so far off track . It was a little overwhelming , leaving her thankful he quickly went on his way the moment @azuuka showed up .

Now that she thinks about it ... that part was kind of strange ...

' Hey , don't go making me paranoid ! I was trying to be helpful ! '

Panda and Ling Xiaoyu Special Intro Tekken 8

“ How long have you and Panda been traveling together? ”

' Hmmm ... '

Xiaoyu taps her foot against the ground below , carefully wiping any crumbs that may be lingering 'round her mouth . Panda , still enjoying her own lunch , pays little attention to the question : offering no more than a huff as teeth sink into bamboo .

' Heihachi had her start watching over me when I came over for the third tournament , sooo ... ' She pauses , tapping her fingers as she pieces together the timeline . ' Three years , I guess ? Feels longer than that ... So much has happened , eheh ... '

playing games for a bit n then going to work on more setup stuff here!!

i will cherish these few specks of time.

Eyes have lingered on the tree towering above , entangled branches promising respite & comfort within the dancing shadows leaves rustling in the wind created . She studies the birds fluttering to and fro , collecting sticks in their tiny beaks to fashion a nest ; the blessing of motherhood seemingly on the way .

Jun's voice , welcoming and warm , manages to snap Xiaoyu's attention back ; a slight hint of rose tinting cheeks , embarrassment settling in as if she'd potentially offended by daydreaming .

Few specks . A frown manages to sneak across her features , the weight of lost time weighing heavy on her chest . Most would mourn , and yet ... Jun's gaze remains on the future , holding the happiness that may come closely to her heart . It is admirable , the strength she carries herself with .

Xiaoyu can only hope to hold a similar strength , too .

' ... Thank you for allowing me to share this time with you . I hope , after everything ... we'll all have more moments together like this . '

i understand panda using kuma shinken still but i also wish that they'd do a little silly and incorporate more of xiaoyu's fighting style. in my mind they're training together constantly and panda would have something to separate her a bit more from kuma

Her smile is bright as compliment rings in her ears ; with back still turned , she is unaware of the way red-headed woman's eyes seem to look through her , rather than at her . Xiaoyu's petite form nearly hops to face unfamiliar voice , but a chill creeping up her spine nearly stops her in her tracks .

Something feels ... familiar .

Deciding it better to swallow her unease , to force the lips parted in surprise into a curved smile , Xiaoyu offers a polite bow .

' Thank you , Miss ! '
