I mean, she has Pyra's color scheme a little (that one unused design with the pigtails), so it's safe to assume she's a great cook, and it's clear she cooks with love. So yes. :)

What if both of them inherited riki's noponis abilities.
If I say yes, that would also imply that Tora and Tatsu and Kino/Nene have Noponis abilities, too. That would be quite the competition for the Noponis.

What do you think about Riku and Manana?
(note: currently fighting Consol J in Chapter 3, so that's currently as much as I've experienced of the story)
I love them! Manana's voice makes me smile, and Riku's makes me laugh every time he opens his mouth just because it's so unexpected. It's so very un-nopon, nothing like I was expecting (a voice a la Riki), but I honestly can't hate it. In fact, I think I'd miss it if it changed(?!).
I haven't used them enough as a Hero to judge if they're super helpful in battle or not compared to other Heroes, but their chain attack bonus is great! Their Hero quest was super cute, between Riku's interest in gems and Manana fighting for the actual soldiers. I like them fighting together a lot.
As characters, so far in the story, they're cute little furry nuggets of comic relief like Riki and Tora and Kino/Nene, but like them, they also have serious moments and wise nopon wisdom to provide.
Final verdict: yes, I like Riku and Manana

So, it's "up."
It sort of crashed the entire store 5 minutes into launching 6 hours ago.
I hopped on the page for it 8 minutes after Nintendo tweeted the news, but the site couldn't acknowledge that I was logged in and acted like I wasn't. I went onto a new tab, weaved back into the shop, and knew I was signed in then, but the purchase button was stuck loading.
And then I got the below message when I tried clicking it.
About 35-ish minutes later, I was yeeted from the waiting room, and I was on the product page again.
By this time, Nintendo had put out a tweet apologizing for the situation.
Now the purchase button was greyed out, and it was confused, lol. Every time I refreshed, it either "thought I wasn't logged in" and/or "thought I purchased the max amount already," but either way, I couldn't stick it into my cart whatsoever. When I clicked "log in," it prompted me to use my account, which I clicked, and then it booted me back to the product page still insisting that I was logged out. Solid.
After too many refreshes over the course of an hour or so, I found my way back to the infamous waiting room, where I've been for 4 hours now.
Things are going grand today! :)
So can the special edition be preordered today? Uhhh...
no
But on a side note, it's official that every My Nintendo Store regardless of region will be shipping the game itself separate from the special edition components (box, steelbook, and artbook). They promise the game will be shipped either on or around release date, but the special edition can't be shipped until the fall. COVID, warehouse storage, supplier issues, who knows what the issue is.
But you know, I can deal with that.
But first I have to ORDER IT--

It's been 84 years, but preorders for the special edition on the My Nintendo Store will be open TOMORROW!
I just don't know what time yet.
Do I...stay up until midnight and check? Do I pull an all-nighter and refresh it until I catch it? Do I just "try to sleep" and check in the morning? Will it be up tomorrow afternoon??

So I will keep watch if they do announce a time! If not, uhh, I'll figure it out. Either way, once it's up, I'll post an update--stay tuned! :)
