The Yankees downfall is so satisfying cause most people are fans of like real sports teams that have had losing seasons in their lifetime and that makes them significantly more grounded people while no one under the age of 28 has seen the Yankees have a losing season like it’s just so necessary for that fanbase to actually feel human for once
