birthday wisdom from an old sage (me)
always keep your room and bathroom clean so ur mind is clear
look! behind! you! before! you! reverse! the! car!
also, indicating is helpful
even 5 minutes of productivity is better than 0 minutes
discipline and motivation are different things and you need both
if someone cooks you food you have to try it
if you disagree with a rule, you gotta own it. don’t pretend to agree and then break the rule in secret
trashy stuff is ok if you learn from it (ask urself - what did i learn from this kardashian binge? what did i learn from reading that buzzfeed article?)
every person has a story.
as much as possible, avoid cryptic, vague, and stupid games. treat people how you would want to be treated
inhale the kindness of others, exhale the over analysation of their actions
theres a playlist for every emotion
and any bad day can be brightened by pretending you’re in a musical (’sing about your feelings!’ ‘dance it off!’ real things i have said to myself)
friends don’t have to be forever. treasure friendship while it lasts, fight for it if you want, but its ok to let go too
no one is thinking about how you look more than you already are
please drink water
every second is a second chance to start again with more confidence
know when to stop. know when it’s not funny anymore.
love wins over judgement every time. love love love. love even when it’s hard to love.
people who get excited about things are the best kinds of people, even if the things are ‘nerdy’ or ‘lame’
