Something like a quarter of the playable races in WoW are furry. Having a furry porn channel is only weird if you also think having a non-furry channel is weird.

If people are using words incorrectly because they just vibe with it, it doesn't mean the meaning of the word changes. It's past time Blizzard recognized RP as a legitimate endgame pillar. I propose a dedicated RP weekly vault where players can choose a random trading post item for participating in RP endgame activities, like: Get (1/2/3) new pieces of art ERP (1/4/8) times Get (50/100/200) reactions on server project Discord posts This will more or less save the RP scene as well as help new players to understand the appeal of RP and ease them into the endgame

if you dont like ERP then do what i did and make a character who is really really unrepairably terrible at sex and has a literal medical condition that makes them unfuckable its absolutely hilarious watching people try to find loopholes to fuck them only to find out that theyre totally cool with it and dont like sex anyway

Don’t know the specifics of these “walk ups” obviously, but I’d bet pretty much all of them were seeking erp. No profile + underleveled also makes it easier to approach on some level, weirdly enough. Because there’s not as much of a presumed expectation of high quality from the approacher. I’m willing to bet that if you filled out that draenei’s profile with a ton of information those walk ups wouldn’t come so easily

As a sex-repulsed ace, I neither like nor participate in ERP. It's in my trp so no one wastes their time if that was the intent. But I don't judge others for it. More power to you if you like it! I just ask that I'm left alone about it & please don't try to convince me otherwise, like I just "haven't met the right person yet." That's fucked up.

This is a general, kind reminder to RP what makes you happy with people that you have fun writing with. Nobody else matters in the long run (in this game, at least). If they don't like what you do, that's fine. They don't matter. Find your people, love what you create together, and make out of this game what you want.

I do my own character art. It's fun! I'm not skilled in the way most artists in this community are. I couldn't get any commissions, my style is cartoony and rough and I'm not very good at anatomy or background yet. But I enjoy drawing my own characters anyway, and it makes me sad when people look down on me for doing my best. I've been told "this looks like a child drew it", and it hurts. I never got the chance to learn to draw when I was a kid, so I started in the last couple years. I'm trying!
