| | So, a longer day sleep results in nocturnal-ism, the champion has come to discover. A long sleep during the day, a long wake during the night. Leon truthfully felt like it’d never be fixed nowadays... Sighing, he rose from his sheets with a big stretch. Maybe he should check on the tower, he thought, slipping on those dorky Charizard slippers and leaving his home. His hair a mess, his shirt bagged, the man looked over the scene during his walk. Winning to Hop’s rival truly had been a bad experience... after all, balancing the tower alongside the Champion title was making the poor guy too old for his skin. Approaching the building, Leon waved to the night challengers, of which there were many... maybe they all had sleep problems too.

| | A long day, a restless night, and a cold shower. Leon sat on his bed, exhaustion wearing the man thin, he needed a walk. Something to get his mind off a bad dream and a hard day’s work... of not doing much in particular. The Champion rose from his pillow shrine and headed out the door in nothing more than silly pajamas and his hat.
| | Wyndon was always best at night, Leon had decided that much long ago. He wasn’t really watching where he was walking, nor noticing any other company or folks around. Maybe he was just that tired...

| | Tree decorating, you say? Perfect! If Leon was good at one thing, it wasn’t decoration! He usually had people for that back home- however, thankfully, he had some good friends who knew some sort of sense of detail better than the man ever could. He looked up to the large tree before him, arms crossed as he huffed. Alright, okay, this would be fine. It was just a huge tree, after all! He looked over, a loud rattling startling him... Ah, Pogchamp with the box of silly pink spiral streamers, heart lamps, and many other things Leon had spent his abundance of money on. He smil.ed to the Charizard thankfully
| | "Thanks, bud! Help me out to get the higher up spots, yeah? I’ll start on the entrance,” he beamed, retrieving the larger lights as he began to tie them to the top pole of the entryway... with a little help from a certain Dragapult, that was. Sitting atop the triangular head, Leon was lifted upwards. He hummed gently, rubbing over his friend’s head, “Good gal,” he praised, looking to his work with contentedness. Now for the streamers...

ACTION PACKED VALENTINE’S!

The Battle Tree’s Valentine’s event is an event dedicated to celebrating love in all its forms - Familial love, friendly love, rivalries, romantic love, or even just pure partnership with your pokemon! Battle Legends Red and Green aim to celebrate this with everyone in two vastly different ways:
A tournament and Battle Tree challenge revolving around double battles,
And a Secret Valentines event!
All of February 3rd, the dash is invited to decorate the Battle Tree in the Valentine’s spirit, from heart stickers to pink fairy lights, it’s all up to you!
There will be Participant Sign-Ups all the way until Feb 4th, where a Galar-Style Duo-Tournament will start to narrow down the trainers taking on the Battle Tree. From the 4th until the 8th, all tournament battles will be recorded and noted down on this blog.
Once Finalists are chosen, The Battle Tree Challenge will begin on Feb 9th. From February 9th until the 14th is the Battle Tree Challenge, where the Finalists will take on Ten Ranks of Battle Tree Duos, until they reach the very end and fight the lovey-dovey super-couple themselves -
Battle Legend Husbands Red and Green!
Whoever manages to defeat this fearsome duo of champions completes the challenge, receiving the ultimate prize!
If you manage to fall flat before reaching them, however, no worries, you’re still getting something!
Meanwhile, the event will also feature non-battling elements - Games spread around the tree, like Valentines Heart Hunt, rides, and various little carnival games. There will be a potluck too, with several foods provided by event-goers to celebrate the sense of community.
On Feb 14th, winners will be announced, as well as runner-ups, and it’s even said that Professor-in-training Green Oak has some special fireworks lined up…But maybe that’s just a rumor.
