WWE Imagines ~Your Retirement~Reader x Dolph Ziggler
You took a deep breath as you stared intently at your hands. You where shaking, more then you where comfortable with.
"Hey..." Dolph said softly as he snaked his hands around your waist. You leaned your head on his shoulder, sighing again.
"Y/N, your up in 5" a crew member told you, smiling softly.
You nodded in response.
"1! 2! 3!" The ref counted and Neville had won his match. As he walked backstage, he locked eyes with you, and you smiled at him. He walked over, Dolph removing his hands from your waist, and you went to go hug Neville.
"I'm gonna miss you." He said
"Same." You replied
"Y/N!"

Your theme blared through the speakers of the arena and you walked down the ramp, heart pounding. You heard the crowd chanting your name
"Y/R/N! Y/R/N!" They chanted
"Oh shit" you mumbled to yourself as you entered the ring.
"Hello WWE universe! As you all should know.....last year at summer slam, with my match against Naomi I injured my knee. And it never healed properly. Of course, as I trained for months, which turned into almost a year, it was clear to me, Hunter, Dolph, and the doctors, that my knee wasn't gonna get any better. And here I am, 11 months and 29 days later, and I made the choice to retire." You spoke I to the mic, tears glistened in your eyes,"And its...it just really sucks that I have to leave you guys. I remember the first time that I stepped foot into the ring and I won my match. Man....that was a good feeling" You wiped the tears away .
"Its OK! Its OK!" The crowd cheered.
You sniffled and saw Dolph walking out and you practically ran to him
"She is OK!" Dolph said into the mic " Just emotional that's all."
When you pulled away from him, you saw the crowd also crying and you walked up to a random fan wearing your merch and hugged them and wiped the tears from there eyes.
"I'll miss you." The fan said
"I love you. Thank you so much for supporting me."
"I love you to, Y/R/N."
