friendship test // finn wolfhard x reader

fandom : stranger things / IT (I guess)

pairing : finn wolfhard & reader

prompt : inspired by Glamor Magazine’s video of Joe & Gaten taking a friendship test, you and Finn do the same thing, though you two are a couple.

warnings : super cheesy

The video started with you on the left side of the screen, a white background filling up the space around you.

“I mean, we’re together, so I must be doing something right.” You said, a grin forming on your face.

“She’s great. I’m great. We’re great.” Finn said, the screen jump cutting to him, on the opposite side of the camrea.

Excerise 1

give each other compliments

“I don’t know if we’re only doing physical stuff, or like, personality wise things, so I’m just gonna do both.” You murmured, trying your best to write somewhat neatly.

You and Finn had both been handed clipboards with paper, and pens. Writing compliments about each other wasn’t hard, you two just didn’t know when to stop.

“I filled up the whole page already (y/n), geez, hurry up.” Finn teased playfully, causing you to laugh.

A few minutes passed, you and Finn were once again in front of each other, minus the clipboards.

Finn cleared his throat, glancing down at the paper before speaking, “(y/n), I think you are the most heavenly creature to ever exist on this planet. You’re so perfect, it’s unreal.”

You smiled warmly as he looked at you, the blush forming instantly on your face.

“Finn, you’re sense of humor is the best thing in the entire world. I remember thinking that there would be nobody that would laugh at my stupid jokes, until I met you.” you replied.

“(y/n), even though you hate your eyes, I love them. Very much.”

“Your hair is so lovely, if you ever get a haircut, I’m going to kill you.”

The compliments went on for a while, ending the clip with the two of you hugging, and Finn pecking your nose.

“Compliments are so awesome, I wish people exchanged them more.” Finn finished, you nodded in agreement.

Excerise 2

Stare into each other’s eyes for 4 minutes

“Oh god.” You laughed, causing Finn to laugh too.

You both did your best to concentrate, trying to focus on the other person’s hair or eyes, but the task itself had you laughing in seconds.

“I love you.” Finn whispered when things finally calmed down.

“I love you too.”

Excerise 3

Trust falls

“Fun fact about me, I hate trust falls.” You stated, lining up behind Finn.

Of course, he caught you all three times, but it didn’t stop the small screams that always left your mouth before leaning back.

“Alright, my turn.” Finn said, turning his back to you.

“Babe, you’re like six inches taller than me, you’re going to fall.”

And of course, he didn’t listen. As you predicted, you couldn’t hold Finn’s weight, and both you guys had ended up on the floor laughing.

As the video came to an end, and the GLAMOR logo appeared on the screen, you and Finn continued to talk.

“That was fun, getting crushed by your boyfriend definitely means the relationship is blossoming.” You said, full of sarcasm.

Finn chuckled, hugging you from behind.

“Highlight of my day.”
