Even though he knew she would be fine concern flashed over his face

Late nights
~1 year 7 months since the last time we’ve seen these disasters~
Cold slowly mixed with the light warmth filling the air as dark faded to light in the sunrise , although it wasn’t a beautiful or very visible sunrise in the crowded city it still gave off that peaceful new start of a new day feeling.
Wren appreciated the emptiness of the street he walked down every morning to return home from whatever violent act he was payed to carry out the night before, the absence of people around him gave him time to think through his own actions and find what he was feeling.
The distance between him and the building became smaller and smaller until he entered through the heavy set doors.
This is the building they had decided they wanted to share between all five of them, so they’d all have privacy of an apartment but still be accessible to each other within minutes.
He dragged his tired self up two flights of stairs to reach his and Charli’s apartment, wether she’d be home aswell or not was always a wild guess, given both of their career choices they had limited time they were both home.
Walking into the apartment and throwing his coat down on the back of the couch his took a look around him,there were various paints and pencils scattered around charli’s normal “art corner” as she called it, this means she was either home or in one of the others apartments.
Running his hand through his hair and sighing at how drained he felt, he decided to throw himself in a shower, hearing someone come in the front door as he got in.

The sound of the water turning off could be heard and a few minutes afterwards Wren exited the bathroom and walked towards the living space where Charli has sat herself to wait for him
