non-idol!jang wonyoung x non-idol!reader (angst)
WARNINGS ; unrequited(?) love, implied jealousy
Tumblr media
jang wonyoung was like a dream to you.
she was unattainable. you always thought that something that pretty would have only been seen on screen but here she was, living her best life as your school's head cheer captain.
you watched her as you and your friend, a senior named ahn yujin, at lunch at the cafeteria.
"you should just forget about her." yujin shook her head.
"i can't." you eyes never left the tall junior. she seemed to be talking to her other cheer mate, seol yoona. "look at her."
"y/n, seriously." yujin stressed.
it wasn't that she didn't want you to be happy. it was the complete opposite in actuality. you were so devastated last year when you found out that wonyoung was dating the now graduated kim gaeul. yujin had to physically drag you to practice at one point.
now, after they had broken up two months ago, you had gotten your hopes up high.
she just didn't want it to happen again.
"i just want to get close to her." you reasoned, causing yujin to roll her eyes.
"even if that means breaking your heart again?"
you nodded. "yes."
yujin frowned. although she was no better than you, she would rather you avoid it entirely.
"don't do it." yujin stated, hating the shine in your eyes as you looked at wonyoung. "just trust me, okay? i don't want you hurting yourself over some girl."
"pretty girl, you mean." you corrected.
yujin groaned, hating how sappy you got when it came to the cheer captain.
"whatever." she laughed, throwing her half-eaten apple at your head. "just don't do it."
you nodded.
you weren't sure what you agreed to, but you were definitely sure that you were not going to listen.
Tumblr media
your entire face went red as you listened to your history teacher talk about the newly assigned seats.
some boys in the back of your class (specifically wantanabe haruto and yang jungwon, the two numbskulls from the volleyball team) had caused such nuciense for your teacher, that she had no other choice but to reassign seat mates.
at first, you were angry considering you were paired with naoi rei who happened to be amazing at the subject. after hearing who your new seat mate was, you no longer seemed to care.
"hi." the tall cheerleader sat beside you, gently dusting her skirt. "i'm jang wonyoung."
you bit the inside of your cheek.
"i know." you winced, missing the small smile on her face. "you're cheer captain."
seeing wonyoung up close had made your brain short circuit.
wonyoung hummed. "you're...?"
you prevented yourself from wincing once more. it was humiliating to find out that the girl of your dreams hadn't even known you existed up until this point.
"y/l/n y/n." you gave a small grin. "dance team captain."
"dance team?" you watched as wonyoung whispered, looking into your eyes. "as in with ahn yujin?"
"unnie?" you tilted your head, not sure why she was asking about your older friend. "yeah, i'm on the dance team with her."
wonyoung nodded, facing the front as you watched her curiously. you didn't know why the tall girl wasn't impressed with your dance captain title. your school birthed many legendary dancers such as the lee sisters, hwang yeji and your personal idol, hirai momo.
any other person would've been impressed, so why wasn't wonyoung?
you felt a flick on the side of your head, making you snap out of your thoughts.
"hey whore," you heard from your right.
you rolled your eyes, glaring at yujin. "haewon-unnie told you to stop calling me that."
"she's not here so..." yujin shrugged, sitting on your desk as she smiled playfully down at you.
"unnie."
"i'm just teasing you." yujin smiled, her eyes hardening as soon as she saw the girl beside you, realizing it was no longer your short japanese classmate who laughed at her jokes.
she scanned the cheer captain up and down. "wonyoung-ssi."
wonyoung smiled. "hello."
yujin nodded in response, turning her head back to you as a smile appeared on her face. "haewon told me to tell you that she's mad at you again for spending over our budget."
your eyes widened. a mad haewon (who used to be the dance captain but resigned last year due to her stuco duties) was a scary haewon.
"you literally asked if we could have an old school concept." you whined, yujin laughing at your pain.
"and i love you so much for it but haewon hates your guts." the older girl teased. "sorry, but it is what it is."
you glared at yujin. "i hate you."
"yeah, whatever." yujin winked, looking at the clock in front of the classroom. she only had five minutes left to get to class, and she had science across the building. "remember what i said about pretty girl."
"i know."
yujin pursed her lips, her eyes subtly moving to wonyoung who was biting the tip of her pen nervously. "i'm serious."
"i know."
"i'll see you later." she sighed, turning to look at the other girl. "wonyoung-ssi."
wonyoung nodded.
the two of you watched as yujin hurried out of the classroom, running in what seemed to be a full-on sprint to get to ms. park's room before the bell rang.
you shook your head with a smile. you never understood why she visited you so often when her classes were always so far from yours.
"you and yujin-sunbaenim seem close." wonyoung cleared her throat, eyes trained on the board.
you nodded. "she's my best friend."
ms. son entered the room, the bell following her after. you watched as everyone got seated, waiting for the woman to begin her lesson.
you felt a tap on your hand. you turned to look at it, only to feel wonyoung's hand curl against yours, leaving as she placed a piece of paper.
you watched her, your heart beating loudly against your chest.
"since we're gonna be stuck with each other the entire time, here's my number," wonyoung whispered, her eyes trained to the front.
you bit your tongue to stop yourself from screaming. "your number?"
"yeah." the cheer captain nodded, the small blush on her face going unnoticed. "i'll text you later?"
you felt yourself involuntarily swallow. "okay."
wonyoung smiled, fully paying attention to the class as ms. son droned on about some topic that you didn't care about. you didn't bother listening, knowing all too well that the only thing you would remember that day was the feeling of wonyoung's soft hands.
Tumblr media
you had been texting jang wonyoung for an entire week.
you weren't going to brag (yes, you were. she was jang wonyoung) but you were starting to consider yourself good friends, despite having a crush on her the size of an airplane.
you wondered if she felt the same.
despite wanting to tell the whole world that jang wonyoung had actually known you existed, you managed to keep your mouth shut, knowing that yujin would be disappointed.
but wonyoung had asked to sit with you at lunch one day, and you couldn't say no to the most beautiful girl in the world.
you walked by her side, trays in hand as the two of you approached the unofficial dance table.
"unnies." you said, looking around as you avoided yujin's eyes. "not-unnies."
you took a seat beside hong eunchae, a transfer from busan earlier that year that had been given a full scholarship for her abilities.
beside yujin, a younger teammate named kyujin rolled her eyes. "you don't have to say that every time you see me."
you pouted. "but jang kyujin..."
yujin looked away from you, her eyes trained lazily on the cheer captain. "wonyoung-ssi."
"sunbaenim." she smiled, playing with her hands as she sat up straighter than before. "hi"
yujin frowned.
"wonyoung's sitting with us today." you announced to your group of eight-ish people.
minji nodded, to engrossed in what seemed to be her english homework as the rest of the group looked around, realizing that you had finally gotten the courage to go up to the wonyoung.
you didn't let them know that she had actually went up to you. that was a secret that you would be sharing on your wedding day (at least you hoped).
"why?" yujin ate her salad, slightly aggressive.
wonyoung bit the side of her cheek. "we're friends."
yujin looked between the two of you, ignoring the side eye that came from haewon and yuna. you wondered what they were looking at her for, but then came to the conclusion that she had informed them about her vocal distaste towards the girl.
"i see."
yujin watched as you nodded and turned to talk to wonyoung.
she hated that you didn't listen to her. yujin had knew that wonyoung had no intrest in you whatsoever and tried her best to make sure that you would never get hurt by the girl. she knew how bad it would hurt.
she just wished you would listen.
"sunbaenim." wonyoung pulled yujin out of her thoughts. "how was your day?"
"it was good, i guess." yujin shrugged. she turned to you, a teasing smirk on her face. "y/n was brutal at practice."
"hey!" you whined, pointing at the pale girl beside her. "haewon-unnie was breathing down my neck."
haewon glared at you, making you cower away. "i was not."
"you were though." you muttered. "yuna-unnie almost shit her pants, and minji--"
minji's head popped up, her face bright red at the thoughts of the event that happened earlier that morning. "speak and i'll throw you in a toilet."
you nodded, pursing your lips as yujin laughed at you.
you quickly gave her the middle finger out of haewon's sight, causing her to mock you in fake disbelief.
"you shouldn't be so hard on them." wonyoung squeezed your shoulder, effectively sending your entire brain for a loop. "the others have extracurriculars too, like yujin-sunbae with basketball."
"i actually don't mind." yujin butted in, jaw tight. "i just like teasing her."
"oh."
"y/n actually has some too." yuna inserted, winking at the younger girl.
yujin kicked her leg. hard.
"you do?" wonyoung found herself more intrigued. "like what?"
"i have vocal lessons outside of school. " you tried to play off nonchalantly, but the small smile on your face wasn't selling it. "it's nothing big."
you didn't think wonyoung would think anything of it, but she had always loved people who sang well or at least knew how to use their voice. it was a talent that she valued in people.
"that's so cool, y/nnie!" wonyoung gasped, hitting your arm. "you have to show me one time."
the two of you didn't hear yujin scoff.
"really?"
"yeah!" wonyoung could feel her face getting hot, but she didn't know why. "we should han--"
"wonyoung-ah!" the captain felt a tap on her shoulder. it was her co-captian, seol yoona. "jiwoo's fighting with jinsol again."
"are you..." wonyoung closed her eyes tightly, taking a deep breath. she stood up. "i have to go."
"okay."
"i'll see you?" wonyoung asked, giving you shoulder another squeeze.
you swallowed, too nervous to say anything as the taller girl waved goodbye, her eyes briefly meeting yujin's.
"what the hell was that?" yujin scoffed, her salad now in shreds.
you knew that she would be upset, but you didn't think she would be this upset.
"you never said to not be friends with her."
"still." yujin moved her hair out of her face, trying to calm herself down and think things through logically. "y/n, i don't want you getting hurt."
haewon frowned, giving yujin a disappointed look. "she doesn't know?"
yuna slapped the shorter girl, and gestured to you as if you weren't there.
you looked between the three of them. "know what?"
"nothing." yujin said quickly, looking behind you as wonyoung stared at her. "just listen to me, okay?"
you nodded. "okay."
you were sure that you weren't going to listen.
Tumblr media
you found yourself at the library a week later, your head buried in some ancient textbook that you needed for your research paper due in two days.
usually, you were a diligent student. you would finish it at least three days in advance, making sure that the next two were used for revision and proofreading.
unfortunately for you, a certain cheer captain had taken up all your time at school and at home. the two of you were constantly glued to your phones, texting each other whenever you could.
you looked up in frustration, only to see someone you thought you'd never see at a library.
you ran up to her quietly.
"unnie." you whispered, causing her to jump slightly.
she turned to you with panicked eyes, immediately softening as she saw your face. "hey dork."
"why are you at the library?" you asked.
yujin scoffed. was it so hard to believe that she was willing to learn (the answer was yes). "can't i learn?"
"no." you shook your head, earning a light slap on your arm. "you're failing for a reason."
yujin stuck her tongue out. "haewon's tutoring me after you bailed."
you rolled your eyes, remembering how upset she had gotten after you had refused to help the girl. "i would just strangle you."
"whatever."
you looked her up and down, realizing that she was shaking her leg in nervousness. her eyes kept wandering around as if she was looking for someone.
"seriously, why are you here?" you squinted.
she shrugged, trying to play it off with a smirk. "no reason."
"yeah, okay." you nodded your head sarcastically. she probably had to meet up with another tutor because her grades has somehow gotten worse. "well, i got a paper due so stop bugging me."
"you came up to me!" she shouted, watching as you were suddenly nowhere to be found. she looked around, realizing that the librarian was glaring at her. "sorry."
in reality, you had just walked back to your desk which was just hidden by the row of bookshelves in front of her.
you thought you would've heard her leave, but footsteps came closer to you, meaning another person was going up towards her.
"yujin-sunbaenim."
your ears perked up, a soft smile on your face. you knew that voice.
"wonyoung-ssi."
you didn't know that they were on talking terms. if you had, you would have definitely made sure to get yujin to set the two of you up. maybe that was why she kept it a secret.
"please go out with me." you heard wonyoung ask.
you felt your arms go limp, your smile shifting into a frown.
oh.
"i told you i'm not interested."
i told you... meaning that wonyoung had already asked yujin before. was this what she had been keeping from you?
"you said that it was because we didn't have any friends in common." wonyoung explained in almost a whine.
they now had one friend in common. you.
you felt sick to your stomach.
"i lied." you could hear yujin trying to calm herself down. you wondered if she was angry right now. "and i told you not to become friends with my friends just for that."
oh. that's why yujin didn't want you to go near her. she was just protecting you. you knew you should've listened.
"but..."
but you would do it all over again just to meet the wonyoung you now knew.
"wonyoung-ssi. i don't like you." yujin said firmly, even making you wince at her harshness. "you're a very pretty girl but i just don't like you like that."
the voices stopped, the library suddenly getting quieter than you ever realized it could. you could hear a heartbreak, but you weren't sure if it was yours or wonyoungs.
"i'm sorry." you could hear her sniffling.
you hated that you wanted to comfort her.
you hear soft footsteps walk away as you felt tears going down your face. you kept your head down, not realizing another set was coming toward your area.
"y/n?" yujin whispered, her eyes widening. your head shot up and you wiped your tears. "did you hear that?
you swallowed. "she liked you this entire time and you knew?"
yujin put her hands in her pocket, playing with the fleece inside. she walked towards you. "i'm sorry."
you sighed, watching as she crouched down and wiped your cheeks with the sleeves of her sweater.
"why'd you keep it from me?" you voice wavered.
her eyes grew softer, an understanding smile replacing the frown from before. "because i knew how sad you'd be."
you clenched your jaw. yujin was always there looking out for you even when you didn't want her to. she had always been right about situations like these. you just wanted her to be wrong for once.
"y/n?"
"i want to say i hate you," you muttered, her glassy eyes meeting yours. "but i don't. i just hate how you were right."
she watched as your bottom lip quivered, immediately knowing what was about to happen next. yujin pulled you into a hug, rubbing your back as tears shed from her eyes.
she hated seeing you like this.
"don't cry." she whispered, her shoulder muffling your quiet sobs. "jang wonyoung isn't worth crying over."
she felt you shake your head. "she is to me."
yujin sighed. even now, you were still obsessing over the taller girl. "even in public?"
she laughed quietly, hearing as your sobs died down almost automatically. you pulled back, your ears bright red from embarrassment.
you hit yujin's shoulder. "stop being right all the time."
"i can't. it's my job." she playfully smirked at you. "she doesn't deserve you anyway."
"you have to say that because you're my unnie." you rolled your eyes, a small smile breaking through.
yujin's head bobbed up and down, smiling reassuringly. "but i'm always right, right?"
you nodded softly. "yeah."
"now stop crying and let me help you with your paper."
yujin grabbed the chair next to you. you put a hand on it to immediately stop her.
"no." you whined. you knew how she was when it came to anything that involved school. "i want a passing grade."
"okay, you whore." she scoffed, standing up. "don't let me comfort you then."
you grabbed her arm and rolled your eyes, feeling as if it was the hundredth time that day. yujin was always so dramatic.
"i'm kidding." yujin watched as you smiled at her, pulling her down to sit. your bloodshot eyes turned into crescents as you grinned. "thank you, unnie."
yujin bumped your shoulder lightly. "any time, y/n."

nakamura kazuha x le sserafim!reader (fluff)
WARNINGS ; scheming, possessiveness (non-toxic)
Tumblr media
kazuha lived a hectic life, almost as hectic as her mind.
at age three, she decided to throw herself into a raging fire.
she had listened to one of her close friends (as close as children could get at that age, at least) rave about how fun their after-school activities were. how she felt like the spotlight was on her, and only her.
kazuha would never admit it, but she craved attention. she yearned to be seen and be recognized, to be watched and to amaze. her after-school activities (read: watching cartoons and drawing stick figures for her parents to interpret) left her with a restlessness, one that relayed onto her parents.
("kazuha! stop cutting holes into your blankets!")
nearly all her childhood memories consisted of school and ballet. it was a monotonous rinse and repeat. each day, she woke up with the dull sensation of aching and routine.
it was fun. it was exciting.
kazuha knew she was good. there was no doubt about it. she would get comments from other parents, praising her, and her mom and dad constantly walked around with their chins held high, knowing how well they're daughter performed.
she was a performer. an amazing one at that.
it didn't go unrecognized. as soon as she reached high school, she earned herself a hefty scholarship, attending one of the most rigorous ballet academies in the world.
kazuha had everything a ballerina could ever want to achieve, but somehow, a sudden emptiness started to consume her.
ballet was fun. kazuha knew what to do to get the spotlight. she knew how to catch the attention of the audience. it was a test, a rigorous evaluation of everything she knew in each class, in each recital.
it was a test, one which she had studied.
but nakamura kazuha wanted to perform.
she would've lied if she said she joined hybe purely out of ambition.
kazuha knew about kpop. she wasn't born in the last century. she, although not as diehard as her roommate, liked blackpink and bts. she knew their discography well enough to attend concerts, and her roommate usually blasted some random song from an idol group while washing the dishes.
(she refused to mention her secret twitter page that somehow shifted into a blackpink fan account.)
when she had gotten the email from hybe, kazuha was more than hesitant. she heard horror stories about the training, how foreigners were forced to speak a language they knew none of. kazuha was already accustomed to how rigorous ballet was, but she knew that the language barrier would be the final straw to making her break.
still, she couldn't do this forever. she couldn't die doing ballet, of feeling the dull ache of something missing.
"i don't know." kazuha sighed, gritting her teeth as she thought about that email again.
Dear Nakamura Kazuha...
("how did they find out my email address and my full name?!")
her roommate sighed. "i think you should."
"and leave everything behind?" kazuha shivered at the thought. change was fun as it was scary. "what if my parents say no?.
mina shook her head. "as if they would. they know how your brain works."
kazuha couldn't disagree with her. her parents were her number one supporters. if she decided to be a cashier at the nearest 7eleven, they would support her.
"besides," mina smirked. kazuha always became worried when her friend was smug. "i heard some of the izone members-"
l/n y/n.
"izone?"
kazuha hadn't known much about izone in all honesty.
all she knew was that miyawaki sakura, honda hitomi, and yabuki nako were in the group. she had heard their songs, and although she had always wanted to get into them, she never had the time.
but then there was you.
Tumblr media
your minju-unnie said that it was okay that your family group disbanded. she said that it was an opportunity for growth and change, and despite her face full of tears, you tried your best to believe her.
packing your bags was the hardest thing you had to do. your roommates, wonyoung and yujin, were quiet and solemn. it was unlike the three of you. your unnies always heard shouting from your room, whether it was you and yujin arguing over the air conditioning, or wonyoung begging you to go shopping with her.
you were their maknaes.
now, you were no one's.
being a group of thirteen, someone was always left out, no matter how hard eunbi or sakura tried. sometimes, it was one of the two. other times, it was willingly hyewon, trying to avoid working.
sometimes, it was you.
everyone grouped up. yujin and wonyoung were going back to their company, starship. hitomi, sakura, and nako were getting ready to fly back to japan. yena and yuri talked to a bumbling and restless chaewon, crying into their arms. chaeyeon and hyewon were in the corner, worriedly watching eunbi as she scanned everyone's faces.
"y/n-ah."
you turned around, wiping the tears off your face.
"minju-unnie." you couldn't help but smile at the older girl.
minju was your rock.
she was a year older, and almost, if not more, confused than you about the whole idol thing. she was shy and insecure, always double-checking if things were done right.
but she was always there. minju always cared, even when she didn't have time to care.
she was the older sister you had always wanted (regardless of whatever chaewon and yena said during interviews and lives).
"give me a hug."
"okay."
you smiled, holding her tight. you could feel her tears dripping onto your shoulder, and her hand gripping your shirt.
minju was afraid, just like you were.
"i'm still your unnie after this, okay?" you didn't know if minju was trying to convince you or herself, but it didn't matter. "talk to me about anything."
you pulled back.
why did this feel like a goodbye? why did it feel like everyone knew this was a goodbye.
you didn't want them to leave. you didn't want them to forget you.
"unnie-"
"i'll be okay." minju could always read your mind somehow. "everything will be okay."
"okay." it'll be okay. everything will be okay. you'll still have your family members. "i trust you, unnie."
a week later, you, chaewon, minju, and sakura received an email.
everything will be okay.
Tumblr media
being okay came in the form of nakamura kazuha.
you had seen her on that video call, talking in broken sentences with a cute accent. she read the paper in front of her, and you could visibly remember the light reflecting the hiragana pronunciation from the back.
a month later, she flew in.
nakamura kazuha was pretty.
a soft knock echoed through your room, the vinyl drowning it out after a few moments. the clock on your table read one am.
it could've been anyone of your group members at this point. maybe it was yunjin, dragging you out to go eat with one of her friends (despite it being past midnight). it could've been sakura, just wanting to sit next to you as she knitted. maybe it was eunchae too, claiming your room was colder despite her living in a different dorm complex. maybe it was chaewon...
you shook your head. chaewon wouldn't leave her room.
the door creaked open, puppy eyes staring back at you.
"hi."
kazuha.
you smiled. part of you was glad that minju never took the offer from hybe, otherwise she would pester you nonstop about your (extremely obvious) crush on the japanese ballerina.
you waved your hand, telling her to go inside. the younger girl beamed at you, a red tint dusting the apples of her cheeks.
"i got something!"
you raised an eyebrow, sitting up as you tried to peak at what she was holding.
"what is it?"
kazuha blinked, trying to calm herself down from bursting at the thought of spending time with you.
it didn't matter to her that you two had been friends for more than a year. being near you was enough to make her heart double in size.
"i, uh, i bought a lego set." she couldn't show that her confidence was wavering. "yunjin-unnie doesn't wanna do it with me."
you frowned.
you loved yunjin as much as the next person did, but you hated it when kazuha talked about her. the ballerina seemed to worship the ground that yunjin walked on.
the worst part was the fact you couldn't blame her. back in izone, there was a moment in time when you had done the same with one of your former members.
minju still teased you about your former crush.
the room went quiet, and kazuha could tell that you were caught in your head again. she always wondered if you thought about her when you were lost in your thoughts. maybe if she knew, she would find the courage to tell you her true feelings.
kazuha fiddled with the box, her voice suddenly a whisper.
"do you," kazuha blushed harder. "do you wanna do it with me?"
although you knew that kazuha most likely went to you after yunjin had said no, you couldn't help but agree. it didn't matter to you that you always seemed to be kazuha's second thought. all that mattered was that she thought of you.
you nodded, and the younger girl couldn't help but smile brightly.
("it'll be a good excuse for you to confess! maybe you'll even kiss her."
"unnie!")
you moved aside, letting kazuha sit across from you. she couldn't help but blush at the feeling of your covers. your room always seemed softer and brighter than hers, just like how you seemed prettier than everyone else.
kazuha sighed. maybe yunjin was right. maybe kazuha had fallen a bit too much in like and ended up in love.
she didn't mind though, not when you felt so familiar to the spotlight.
"these flowers are pretty." you looked closely at the orchids, humming as you traced the box with your finger.
mina had always mentioned how she was a sucker for pretty girls. she vividly remembers the two of them in their second-grade science class, kazuha tensing up whenever her teacher came near, or the time that one of her closest friends back in the academy complimented her physique, and she stiffened up so hard that she strained her neck.
when she first saw you during that video call, she was more calm than she expected. kazuha knew that she was gonna meet her celebrity crush, and the thought of you knowing she existed nearly made her brain short-circuit but she prepared. kazuha wasn't weak-willed.
and then she met you in real life.
somehow, she had forgotten how to speak at all.
("kazuha, right?"
"mmh!")
even after two years, she still struggled to form thoughts around you. it wasn't her fault that you were pretty.
kazuha cleared her throat, her face heating up as she realized how long she had stayed silent.
the two of you got to work quickly, the lull of the record playing. pieces of lego scattered your bedsheet, the two of you (mostly just you) struggling to figure out which piece went where.
"so..." you fiddled with a piece, one that you assumed to be the leaf. "you got these for yunjin-unnie?"
kazuha snapped out of her daze, too focused on completing the set in front of her. she always got too into these things.
"huh?"
"the flowers." you smiled, holding back an 'aw'. kazuha was too adorable for her own good. "you said yunjin-unnie didn't want to build them with you."
kazuha couldn't help but avoid your gaze.
she knew that you weren't exactly the best when it came to anything that required hand-eye coordination and focus. she also knew that she desperately wanted to spend time with you. you had been too busy meeting up with your former members and she had been missing you a bit too much.
she had seen the set while window-shopping.
they looked easy enough, one that wouldn't confuse you as much as the other ones, but hard enough to make sure it took more than one sitting.
it was a perfect excuse.
"oh, um," kazuha didn't know why it suddenly got so hot in your room. "no, i got them just because."
you glanced at her, watching as she toyed with the piece in her hand. you had no reason to doubt the younger girl, but you had to admit it was odd.
you couldn't complain, however. kazuha was here, and that's all you wanted.
the two of you continued, you looking over every so often. the scattered pieces seemed to never end, and despite the younger girl's dexterity, your lack of seemed to prolong the process more than it should've (just like she had hoped).
"this has a lot of parts." you muttered, feeling bad. "i think you picked the wrong person for this, zuha."
kazuha, like always, smiled at you as if she was smiling for the audience.
"i don't mind it taking long."
it was breathtaking.
"if you say so..."
Tumblr media
you yawned, rubbing your eyes as you curled up against the futon.
you loved comebacks more than an idol should. it was fun to roam around, exploring the building of whatever showcase it was. being the only extrovert in le sserafim, you also made it your duty to help the others (and yourself) connect with whoever you seemed to cross paths with.
most days, you would already be outside, introducing sakura to whoever walked by.
not today. not when you were running on three hours of sleep.
"y/n-ah," sakura's voice echoed in your brain. "did you see my iron anywhere?"
"chaewon-unnie had it last." you yawned out.
sakura glared at her leader, watching as chaewon dug through her comically large bag. she needed to use it after the show. chaewon couldn't look like a mess in front of min anyone.
the leader stared you down, your peaceful body irritating her.
"snitch."
your mouth dropped open.
a couple years ago, back in izone, chaewon wouldn't dare insult you (although snitch was barely an insult). it didn't matter whether you barged into her room unannounced and left the door open, insulting you was off-limits.
as one of your unnie's once said, insulting you is equivalent to scolding a kitten who didn't know any better.
"i'm telling eunbi-unnie!" you whined, pouting.
chaewon laughed, pinching your cheek as if your threat meant nothing to her. you were basically her little sister after all. the worst thing that your 'mom' would do was scold her.
"like you told her about your crush on zuha?" chaewon snorted as she saw how red your cheeks had suddenly gotten. "how she's so pretty when she dances and how you wanna kiss her?"
you slapped her arm away, embarrassed. you should've known that eunbi had told chaewon (and probably the rest of the other girls) about your infatuation with the ballerina in your current group.
maybe that's why wonyoung gave you a thumbs up when she saw you and kazuha gathering drinks for the rest of your members.
"kkura-unnie!" you turned to the eldest, her figure hidden under a purple blanket. "chaewon-unnie being annoying again!"
you stared at the blob, waiting for it to utter a word. something that hopefully defended you from your child-like leader. sakura tended to take your side, anyway, except when-
you squinted, watching as the blanket shook up and down.
was she...
"stop laughing!" you groaned, throwing your head back.
you thought that somehow, especially since hong eunchae was in your group, chaewon and sakura would stop treating you like a maknae.
it seemed to be worse now, the two throwing jabs at your unrequited crush when the three of you were left alone.
"when are you gonna ask her out, y/n-ah?" sakura sat up, her voice drowning out the door opening. "you can't pine forever."
eunchae looked around, her eyes beaming with curiosity.
"ask who out?"
chaewon screamed as the youngest's voice echoed from behind, her eyes wide open as she jumped onto the couch. somehow, sakura followed with her, the sheer volume of the leader's voice frightening her.
"jesus, eunchae..." chaewon clutched her heart. "you scared me."
beside her, sakura's head hung low as she tried to catch her breath.
eunchae chose to ignore the two, glancing at you with shining wonder.
"who are you gonna ask out, unnie?"
she already knew who you were talking about. eunchae wasn't dumb. she saw the quiet glances and the bright smiles you and kazuha sent to each other. she knew that sakura saw it too.
but somehow, neither you nor your ballerina did.
you bit your tongue, debating whether or not to tell the younger girl in front of you.
you trusted eunchae. the young girl knew how to keep a secret unlike some people (yunjin and chaewon), but you also knew she had a tendency to meddle when the chance was given to her. it was why your junior, minji, and chaewon were so adamant about keeping her and her friend, haerin, away from each other.
you hummed, blurting out the second name that you could think of.
"minju-unnie."
"minju-sunbaenim?" eunchae shook her head. she didn't know you were this bad at lying. "as if chaewon-unnie would let that happen."
all eyes shifted to chaewon as her ears burned a firey red.
"yah!"
eunchae rolled her eyes, pouting as she ignored her leader's half-hearted scolding.
"so?" the youngest continued to press. "who is it?"
you shrugged, not knowing that the two of you were thinking about the same girl. "no one."
"but-"
the door opened, kazuha and yunjin entering the cramped room with a boxful of cheesecake.
chaewon frowned. she had told them to get real food. not dessert.
"what is that?" chaewon glared at the white reflecting the lights.
yunjin looked down, half confused and half serious. "it's a container...?"
with a deep breath, chaewon closed her eyes. she always wondered how eunbi managed to keep some sanity when choi yena, kang hyewon, and ahn yujin were all under her care.
part of her knew that if yunjin was added to that mix, eunbi would combust.
"but i ordered rice...?"
chaewon looked at the proud smile on her member's face. "it's made with flour, so it's close enough."
huh yunjin was gonna give her an aneurysm.
Tumblr media
"have you told her yet?"
being ambushed while drying her hair wasn't exactly how kazuha wanted to spend her night.
in all honesty, she had mentally prepared herself to confess to you later today. from the moment her six alarms rang, she knew that she'd do it.
she didn't take into account how many people would stop by and say hi to you.
kazuha frowned. why did you know so many pretty people?
"no..."
yunjin frowned, pointing at her with the fork in her hand. "you said you'd do it today?"
kazuha loved the thrill of the spotlight. she loved showing the world that, not only was she talented, she was confident. she held herself with a poise that she knew many people could never compare to.
kazuha never crumbled under the presence of the spotlight.
why was it so different with you?
"told who what yet?"
kazuha spun around, her eyes wide. it had slipped her mind eunchae usually drank a caprisun around this time. something about her nightly routine...
(kazuha tried to pay attention, but eunchae talked fast, faster than she could translate in her head.)
"what?" yunjin laughed awkwardly, her mouth scrunching up. "told who what?"
leave it to yunjin to make things obvious.
"you're such a bad liar, unnie." eunchae rolled her eyes. "so, who is it zuha-unnie?"
kazuha swallowed air, her fingers nervously tapping on her side. if eunchae found out, there was no doubt that she'd tell you before kazuha herself could.
"no one."
the youngest sighed. everyone seemed to think she was five years old or something. they might as well have told her santa was real.
eunchae shook her head, plastering an unbothered smile on her face.
the maknae had decided a while ago to not get in between you and kazuha. she liked how the two of you acted like two stupid shoujo characters, dancing around their feelings. yes, it frustrated her, but at the very least, she found daily entertainment.
everyone had forced her hand.
"oh..." eunchae nodded. "you're just like y/n-unnie."
kazuha's head perked up almost instantly, like a dog when they smelt a treat nearby.
"what?" eunchae knew something about you? was it something she didn't know? "what about her?"
the youngest bit back a smirk.
"i heard that she was gonna ask someone out."
someone...
kazuha frowned.
someone?
did she know them? were they close to you? was it one of your former members? was that why you had been so busy visiting them instead of paying attention to her?
"who?" kazuha's mind couldn't stop racing as she named all the people you had visited in the past month.
eunchae chuckled, squeezing past her and grabbing a drink from the fridge. "i'm not telling!"
"what?" gears turned in kazuha's head, her frown deepening. "who?"
eunchae smiled. if she was right and kazuha thought like any lead in any of her favorite tv shows, planning a seed of anxiety would be enough for her to finally do something.
"she's probably teasing, zuha." yunjin's voice was laced with nervousness, never before seeing kazuha in such a state of panic.
"maybe..." the youngest sighed.
wow... she was a genius.
"so," the youngest stabbed her juice open, sipping as she acted innocently. "do you guys think minju-sunbaenim is pretty?"
the kitchen went silent.
"...what?"
yunjin's eyes widened. she never knew kazuha's voice could be so intimidating.
"minju-sunbaenim?"
minju? kim minju?
how was she supposed to compete against kim minju?
Tumblr media
kazuha liked spending time with you.
she liked how easily she made you laugh, how your eyes seemed to brighten at every word she uttered. she took note of how your cheeks tinged red, and how you'd stare at her as if she was the focus of your attention.
your spotlight was on her.
she'd never tell you, but there was a reason why she had gotten so close to yunjin out of nowhere.
it was obvious how you liked jokes, stupid or not. you laughed at whatever was said, even if imaginary tomatoes were being hurled towards the other person.
huh yunjin always managed to make you laugh, and kazuha knew from the first day she met you that she wanted that as well. she wanted your eyes on her and only her.
("take it."
"a joke book, yunjin-unnie? i don't think..."
"it'll work. trust me.")
now, the spotlight was somewhere else. somewhere familiar... somewhere you were used to.
it was driving her insane.
kazuha looked up, watching as you struggled with the legos in your hand.
"do you like minju-sunbaenim?"
you paused, confusion suddenly appearing in your eyes.
"minju-unnie?"
kazuha, too filled with anxiousness and determination, thought nothing of it.
"do you like her?"
you blinked. kazuha had never been this blunt, nor this flat with you.
your searched your brain for an explanation, but none came to. "where'd this come from?"
kazuha frowned. that wasn't a no.
"eunchae said you did."
you laughed quietly, shaking your head as the girl in front of you sulked. gently, you put the last piece together, staring at the orchid head in your hand.
"don't listen to eunchae." you smiled, her eyes hardening as she took in your words. "she just heard i liked someone and-"
someone?
there was someone, just not kim minju.
kazuha nodded internally. she could compete with someone. in fact, she was sure she would win. as long as it wasn't another person like minju (god forbid it was hyewon), she'd be fine.
hell, she'd fight lee chaeyeon for you.
"who?"
"who?" you blushed under the dim light of your lamp, the thought of confessing to kazuha outright flustering you. "someone..."
the ballerina clenched her jaw. she didn't understand why you wouldn't tell her.
she was greedy. she had always been. kazuha needed to learn to share the spotlight, but she had always struggled with it. she needed to learn to accept that not everything came to her the way she wanted it to, no matter how hard she tried.
"i think we did it!" you smiled, clicking the last piece of the set together. "i'm so glad that's over with-"
she wasn't gonna share you.
kazuha crawled over, not caring that her knee had crushed the bottom of the pot that the two of you worked so hard on.
"kazuha!"
your eyes widened in horror as it shattered under her weight. it took you two hours of work, and so much patience that you felt like you had transcended time at certain points.
kazuha didn't care.
she craved the spotlight. she craved you.
her hand rested on the side of your neck, pulling you into a kiss she had so desperately dreamt of each night.
you barely registered what was going on, your brain hopping from grieve to confusion to flustered in less than a second. her mouth was on yours. kazuha was kissing you.
humming, your eyes screwed shut as you focused all your attention on her. you could taste the faint layer of chapstick on her lips, the one that you had always wondered what tasted like.
sweet. you smiled. like her perfume.
you pulled back awkwardly, watching as she semi-hovered over you, and struggled to maintain her position.
"focus on me instead." she ignored the sharp pieces digging themselves into her knee. "like me instead, unnie."
you looked into her dark irises, her breathing heavy as they searched yours. you couldn't believe how out of nowhere kazuha had been. you had known her long enough to know how she kept her thoughts to herself, rarely speaking out unless something had happened.
you paused.
oh.
"eunchae, you sneaky little..." you shook your head, deciding to scold the youngest another time. now, your focus was kazuha.
her eyes never wavered away from yours, almost as if she was silently pleading for confirmation.
with a smile, you chuckled. "you're the someone, kazuha."
kazuha's face went blank, shifting to her knees.
"huh?" her face heat up. she had never been more embarrassed in her life. "but eunchae said..."
you gave her a pointed look.
"exactly."
kazuha clenched her eyes as she sat back to the opposite of you. how did a fifteen-year-old manage to out-smart her.
i got played.
"so..." kazuha sat cross-legged, glancing sadly at the broken figure in front of her. "i broke our flowers for nothing?"
you couldn't help but let out a laugh, watching as the girl across from you reminisced about the state of the lego set a few minutes ago.
"it's okay." you hummed, picking up the pieces. "it just means more time together."
kazuha hummed happily, going back to work to fix the vase. the more time she spent with you, the better.
together...
that was another conversation for another day.
Tumblr media
eunchae stared at the fake flowers on the living room table, smiling as her scheming had worked perfectly.
she was glad that you two were finally dating, even if that meant you and kazuha (poorly) snuck around the dorms.
it was also a plus that she got treats for not telling chaewon about anything (not like she was going to).
"do you know orchids mean love?" sakura said, glancing at her phone.
"love?" chaewon laughed. you were too young to know what love was. "y/nnie didn't even have her first kiss yet."
yunjin's eyes bulged out, not sure if she was hearing wrong. "she didn't tell you?"
"unnie."
"oops."

baek harin x reader
WARNINGS ; TRIGGER WARNING! heavy manipulation, love bombing, possessiveness, gaslighting, physical and emotional abuse, spoilers up to episode 8 of pyramid game
Tumblr media
your thoughts ran wild.
harin probably already knew. somehow, she always figured out what you were thinking, as if you were an open book. she could tell your worries and your fears by glancing at you.
you did well. you knew that she would be proud of you, but still...
you shook your head. now wasn't the time to be nervous.
smoke wafted around the baekyeon heiress as you approached her, her eyes drifting in the distance. in her hand, a cigarette, laced with gold and stuffed with toxins that harin always seemed to indulge herself in.
her head tilted towards you, a dull sparkle in her eye.
"so?"
her voice was monotone, carrying out a sense of boredom that she only showed to a few others.
you watched her in all her beauty, the curls of the fog shaping the area around her. the heiress was stunning, and it always took you a couple seconds to reel yourself back to reality.
harin rolled her eyes as she approached you, tapping the side of her smoke as a warning.
instinctively, you straightened, your eyes wide as she smiled.
there was something so addictive about frightening you, something that was true genuine fear laced with an undying loyalty. you were impossible to replicate, a faithful dog waiting by her bedside.
you took a deep breath, inhaling the smoke through your nose. "i got ambushed by jaeun, suji, and them."
"i thought so." another puff of smoke exited her mouth. "did they mention anything?"
anything else?
you bit your tongue, your face ridden with guilt.
you were tired of the game, tired of getting hurt. as much as you yearned for harin's happiness, the exhaustion was getting to you. you just wanted one day to yourself, without eunbyeol and harin breathing down your back.
"no."
harin's eyes hardened, her gaze trained on you like a hawk. her pupils took in the sight; your quivering mouth, your avoidant stare...
she smiled.
"why don't i believe you?" harin clicked her tongue, pointing the end of her smoke near your cheek. "is it because you're lying to me?"
she knew. how did she know?
"no, i just..."
("join us.")
Tumblr media
you never questioned why class 1-5 were in the middle of nowhere.
the building was nice, decorated with marble columns and sleek white paint. the washrooms were clean, close by, and rarely messy except for the occasional tissue lying on the ground.
it felt as if you were purposely isolated, the twenty-four other girls in your class being the only ones in reach.
sometimes, you even forgot other classes existed.
"harin's a fucking bitch."
you paused. kim dayeon?
a girl like her wouldn't be caught dead in the library. there was no reason for her to be here, much less talk shit about the heiress of the entire school.
you kept your mouth shut as your thoughts wandered to the girl in question.
baek harin.
pretty, intelligent, soft-spoken. from what you've seen, all those things were right. you were always too shy to approach her, your thoughts clouded by the beauty that she held. from what you heard from others, she was the embodiment of niceness, going out of her way to lend others money with nothing in return (yet).
why would dayeon even say these things about her?
"god, you think she's all high and mighty." dayeon muttered, her feet shuffling as she paced back and forth. "that psycho probably wants us to worship the ground she walks on."
psycho? baek harin wasn't a psycho.
"a hierarchy game?" dayeon could already see it in her head. she had no choice but to agree at that moment, wanting to spare herself from her father later that day, but when harin had mentioned it... "is she demented?"
"pyramid game, dayeon." seo doah. that made sense as to why dayeon was here. "if you're gonna insult it, at least name it properly."
"shut it."
"you might also wanna check if anyone else is in the library." your throat ran dry as doah stood up, staring at you across the room. "right, y/n?"
you shot up, your eyes wide as dayeon stared at you. there was something in her eyes that was unfamiliar.
fear? what was she scared of? surely, it wasn't harin.
"um..."
"fuck." your eyes widened at her words. never in your life would you have thought that the eccentric kim dayeon would swear like a sailor. "don't you dare say shit, you understand me?"
you shook your head, your body stiff. "i won't-"
"you don't know what the fuck is at risk here." dayeon's anger roared throughout the library, her fist shaking. dayeon wouldn't hit you... right? "open your mouth and i'll stitch it shut."
you nodded, trembling as you packed your things to leave.
"jeez, dayeon..." doah shook her head.
you stood up, your bag half open, and your textbooks barely inside. in your arms, you gathered everything that you could, arms shaking as you rushed out the room.
a spark of fear lighted up inside you when you saw daeyeon fingernails imbed themselves into the soft skin of her palm. the crescents swelled a bright red, and you knew that she wasn't joking.
she was gonna hurt you. was she gonna hurt harin as well?
you needed to get out of here, maybe even tell harin how insane and dangerous her friend seemed.
how was that even possible? how could someone like dayeon hold a rage inside themselves like that? you could understand it from that suck up, wooyi, but dayeon?
you stumbled slightly as you turned the corner, the books nearly falling out of your bag as you collided with someone. a strong, sculpted hand grabbed your elbow, electricity shooting up your arm.
that feeling...
"is something wrong?"
her breath smelt faintly of nicotine, her perfume - one you assumed cost at least a couple hundred dollars - blocking the scent enough to not register in your brain.
you bit your tongue. "no..."
"you can tell me, y/n-ah." your heart leaped at her words, a cloud of affection and care seemingly coating them. "i don't bite."
harin's smile seemed so soft and elegant, like the status she so desperately upheld. her eyes gleamed gently (and if you looked any closer, void of life) as her cheeks dusted in a costly blush.
don't snitch. you thought as her worried gaze peered into your soul. why should i protect dayeon?
you bit your tongue, your chest bursting with guilt at the thought of dayeon laying a finger on the heiress in front of you.
"dayeon..." you whisper as an eyebrow on her pretty face raised. "she, um, she might hurt you."
you waited for harin's face to shift into worry, into fear, into a normal reaction. you waited for her lips to part and ask 'why?', to ponder what your words truly meant.
instead, she laughed, as if the thought of dayeon hurting her was a part of some greco-roman comedy and not a tragedy.
harin let go of your arm, moving your hair out of your face as your eyebrows furrowed.
"so i'm guess you heard about my game as well?"
you nod. you had forgotten that those threats had stemmed from some game dayeon had mentioned.
a hierarchy game... a pyramid game.
"what do you think about it?" harin's eyes shone in a playful demeanor, full of curiosity and excitement. you couldn't fathom why or how she wasn't worried. "doesn't it sound fun?"
the air shifted around you as her irises seemed to blacken. a heavy burden settled on your chest as she face twitched into a smile, and you felt compelled - forced - to agree.
"it does," you chuckled awkwardly. "i guess."
a soft hum escaped her mouth, her eyes glancing at your face, taking in the fear that had shifted from dayeon to her. behind your eyes, she saw something... something exciting.
the heiress smiled.
"i hope you're in 'a' with me." you had no idea what she meant, but the thought of being near baek harin made the room spin. "it'll be lonely without you."
she stepped beside you, a gentle touch on your shoulder. her breath wafted close to your ear as she spoke with a stiff voice, one you wouldn't recognize as harin's.
"thanks for the heads up about dayeon." you shivered, a cool line shooting up your spine. "i'll deal with her."
she walked away as a deep pit in your stomach emerged.
deal with her?
you gripped your books tighter as you listened to the fading footsteps, and the soft "hello, can i speak to mr. kim? it's harin." in the distance.
you didn't know why, but somehow, you made the wrong decision.
Tumblr media
you were never scared of blood.
it was a liquid that flowed inside you and every person's body, just like how water seeped from the sky and into the ground. blood was a natural process, nothing more and nothing less.
but when you saw that knife, drenched from your classmate's fresh wound...
you shivered at the thought, while harin's soft hands fiddled with a strand of your hair.
"do you feel bad for her?" harin's smile never disappeared, not since the game started. it didn't disappear when crimson dripped onto the floor, either. "woori?"
her lifeless eyes bore into yours, jolts of electricity and fire rising throughout your fingertips and cheeks. her hand, close enough to feel your breath, paused as the rest of harin's body stilled.
all of her stopped, as if so curious about your thoughts that each cell of hers had to still.
"you can be honest." her breath laced in nicotine once more, her perfume no longer covering the overwhelming scent. "i wanna know."
woori was an 'f'.
being an 'a' yourself, you had the right to torture her, to manipulate and ridicule her.
you never did, leaving it up to dayeon to do whatever she pleased with her. part of you still felt bad for what happened earlier in the year, and each time you blinked, you remembered the heavy-handed bruises left on dayeon's face the day after you had told harin about the library incident.
you understood woori, though. the mental toll it must've taken, being bullied throughout the day, months on end without another student looking your way. telling the teachers only resulted in a beating at best, and at worst...
your eyes clenched tightly as your brain replayed that video.
"a little..."
harin chuckled, pulling her hand away and fishing out a cigarette.
"you saw her cut jaeun up." harin muttered through her smoke, her delicate fingers wrapped around the golden band.
you remember the marble on the classroom floor stained red in a way that you didn't think it would.
blood wasn't scary. fear was.
"i did."
"and you still feel bad." harin inhaled, smoke leaving her nostrils as she looked you up and down. "interesting..."
as of late, harin had been smoking around you more and more often. whether it be behind the shed or simply just the two of you in the library, clouds of smoke seemed to follow her, and in turn, you.
the first time it had happened, you had coughed violently, taken off guard as the heiress smiled. your tears were exciting to her, much like your overwhelming sense of loyalty clashing with your morality.
she had never met anyone who was so inwardly conflicted.
"did she really drop out, harin-ah?"
harin blinked, standing up from her chair as she snubbed the end of her cig on some random book cover in front of her. she threw the smoke onto the floor, grinding it with her heel. her eyes were cold, and dark, and you knew that you had messed up again.
you didn't cough this time around. she had no reason to be mad.
the heiress gathered her belongings, sparing not a single glance your way.
"y/n?"
your heart skipped a beat.
"yeah?"
"my name's harin." she glanced at you, unamused. "don't call me that again."
Tumblr media
seong suji.
the girl was nice, a little naive to the happenings of class 2-5. you could tell from a mile away that the girl wanted to stay low and let time pass its course, but you knew better than anyone that she had a target on her back.
everyone's attention had been on her from the moment whispers spread about a new girl transferring into the class. the moment she stepped into the room, you watched as harin's eyes lit up, and a fire blazed inside you.
you didn't know whether it was guilt or jealousy.
"are you stupid?" harin clenched her teeth as she hovered over you, her eyes hardening like coals under pressure. "telling the new girl about my game?"
suji didn't hear the predators hiding in the tall grass. she didn't see their eyes, nor did she notice their bloodlust-filled gazes, but she felt it, and there were only two people in her mind who seemed to lack the barbarity that lingered in the empty halls of the complex.
"look at me!"
your eyes snapped to harin's, anger exuding from her lips as puffs of smoke filled the air and ashes fell onto the ground.
you winced.
"harin..." you had never seen this side of her, not directed at you. you had always watched from the distance as opposed to being the target. "i just thought-"
"did you?" harin's lips curled in a way that could only be described as disbelief, your utter incompetence boggling her mind. "or are you just as stupid as your dropout brother?"
you winced, the low blow winding your self-esteem.
"she looked confused." you tried your best to reason with an iron wall. "i didn't want her to feel like-"
harin's eyes widened, and her usual curiosity morphed into an unfiltered rage.
"like who? woori? jaeun?" she exhaled another cloud, your face getting covered in smoke as you struggled to breath. "you're so fucking stupid."
you felt the heiress lean closer, the tip of the cigarette centimeters away from your cheek.
"i'm sorry."
"you're sorry?" harin could feel her blood boiling. everything was ruined. "i had a plan. you ruined it for me. you ruined my game, y/n."
you closed your eyes, trying to drown out the sharp words and the blanket of burden that harin enveloped you with.
you just wished harin would go back to being curious and playful, and leave you ignorant to the fact that deep down, she was the monster dayeon had implied many months ago.
with a weak voice, you tried to reason. "i didn't mean to..."
"you didn't-" harin backed away, ripping the smoke from her lips and into her fingertips. "give me your hand."
your eyes widened.
"harin-"
she grabbed your wrist with a surprising amount of strength. her nails dug into your arm, your teeth grinding together at the dull pain. the heat of the cigarette hovered over your palm as you struggled to pull back, and you couldn't help but choke out a strangled gasp.
"harin, wait-"
the smell of flesh burning invaded your senses as your arm shook from the pain. lightning seemed to replace your veins, as a fire replaced your blood. your vision fuzzed, the tears in your eyes falling down your chin.
harin glanced at you, a small smile replacing her grimace. you were always so pretty when you were in pain.
"remember this." she threw her smoke onto the ground, her grip on your wrist tightening. "you mess with my game, you upset me. you don't want that to happen again, do you?"
the last thing you wanted was to see harin frown in your direction.
"no."
harin smiled, glancing at how your lips quivered and how your eyes held an intoxicating mixture of fear and want. quietly, she wiped a tear with her free hand, chuckling as you flinched at her touch.
"then stay away from seong suji." she leaned in, her voice soft except for the threatening undertone. "if i see you even look at her without my permission, i'll make your life hell."
her grip loosened, harin's eyes softening as she looked at you with what seemed to be worry and understanding.
"i..." you blinked, agreeing like an obedient dog. even now, you couldn't help but wonder which harin was the real harin, but all you knew was that you didn't want to disappoint her. "i understand."
harin sighed, glancing at the burn in your hand with contempt. "i don't like doing this to you."
you paused, your face brightening as the smell of tobacco stuck to your blazer.
"you don't?"
harin smiled. it was like catching a mouse in a well placed trap. you were predictable and easy to please. a couple right words and you'd be under her spell all over again.
"you think i do?" the heiress frowned, biting her tongue.
she loved it.
"no..."
with a giggle, she took your wrist, much more gently than before.
"let's get you patched up."
Tumblr media
harin liked putting on lipgloss around you.
she liked the way your eyes darted to her mouth for a split second before they looked anywhere else in the room. the redness of your cheeks delighted her in the sense that she knew that no matter what, you'd be stuck under her thumb.
you were her stupid, little puppet. your strings strong and unwavering, and your heart tainted with a loved one that you thought she didn't see.
it was adorable, like a puppy chasing its own tail, or a whale, no longer strong enough to go up for air.
harin liked to send you on mindless errands.
it was a good way to keep you in check, much better than instilling fear. she could sense that someone like you liked to feel needed, even if it's something as simple as fetching her more of her favorite brand of smokes or picking up items that she used for bribery.
it gave her a good laugh when you would come back, beaming as if you accomplished something when in reality, one of her maids could have easily done the same.
you were none the wiser, currently on your way to getting her more coffee (well, to get doah coffee per harin's demand).
you were just about to leave the campus, but a strong yet gentle hand yanked you aside, dragging you out of sight from the windows of the complex.
"sorry, y/n-ah."
you tried to shake her off, but she was too strong.
"jaeun, let go." why was she doing this? more importantly, why was she taking you to the nearby convenience store. "i can't be talking to you. you know that."
jaeun stopped, and you thought that she had finally gotten tired of you complaining so much. instead, you looked at the scene in front of you, two girls sitting in the shade of a foldable umbrella.
harin was gonna burn you alive.
"harin's pet?" jaehyeong shook her head, staring at the taller girl beside you. "jaeun-ie, are you sick? do you have a fever?"
you frowned. you weren't 'harin's pet'. so what if you liked being around her?
"she's nice." jaeun muttered, ushering you to the other girls. you tried to turn away, but she moved you in such a way that you couldn't escape. "she helped suji out."
"that was a mistake."
suji raised an eyebrow. she didn't know what was wrong with you. how could someone change so much in a matter of two months?
her eyes wandered your figure, stopping at the burns that littered your right hand.
oh. that makes sense.
"hey, y/n-ah."
"yerim?" you turned around, your jaw hanging open as the trainee sat with the girls, sipping on a can of coffee. you glanced at her phone, watching as she scrolled through eunjeong's instagram. "what the hell is going on?"
you looked around, their eyes glancing at suji with hesitation.
"you're not gonna convince her, suji." yerim shook her head.
being in rank 'a' herself, she knew firsthand how you followed every word harin said. she could tell from a mile away what it was, yerim herself victim to the feeling with a certain swimmer.
but there was a difference between the two of you, one that could prove to be detrimental.
you needed someone to follow, while she didn't.
"i can." suji glanced at your hand again. "i know i can."
"convince me?"
you felt a lump in your throat, praying that somehow, in some way, harin would come barging in and save you from whatever was going on here.
you took a deep breath, and sensing danger was near, gripped your wrist for safety.
jaeun frowned.
"i was serious about bringing down the game, y/n."
the pyramid game.
that stupid game that harin focused all her energy into, hellbent on keeping the perfect hierarchy intact. the one where you watched your classmates get beaten to a pulp, bloody and broken to the point of mental disarray.
you had never spoken it out loud, but you were tired of it, watching everyone you know either do the hurting or get hurt (most times both).
but this was harin's game, and you'd rather hurt yourself than upset the girl you loved.
"harin'll be pissed."
yerim chuckled, a knowing smile on her face. she didn't expect anything less from you.
"aren't you?" suji glanced at your hand, one you held for dear life, as if you were afraid it would get burned again. "after everything you've done for her, she still burns you."
you frowned.
harin did it with good reason. she needed to keep you in line, to keep you from lashing out. she did this to you because, unlike wooyi or dayeon, she trusted you enough to understand.
harin did it out of the pureness of her heart.
"that was an accident."
"an accident?" suji could feel your doubt starting to seep through. that was enough for her, to see the light beyond the cracks of your love. "hurting you multiple times the same way was an accident?"
was it an accident? it had to be, otherwise, harin was just hurting you to hurt you.
you shook the thought out of your head, missing the way the girls looked at each other, satisfied.
"what do you want, seong suji?"
there was a beat in the air.
"join us."
Tumblr media
she knew. how did she know?
"no, i just..."
you liked harin, even when she suffocated you with her smoke, staining your white shirt with the ash of her cigarettes. her eyes wandered yours routinely, and it felt as if she was trying to dig deep as if she needed you.
"i figured out a way to get to them."
harin's eyes sparkled. she would have never thought that you, docile and timid, would ever think of something other than her and school.
it was... exhilarating.
"sim eunjeong." you rattled out a breath, your eyes clenching at the very thought of what you were doing. "yerim... likes her more than we think."
the heiress laughed, the excitement in her chest bursting at the thought of you ignoring your morals just to please her and only her.
she leaned close to you, her face in front of yours as she moved a single lock of hair behind your ear. shivers ran up your spine.
"do you feel bad, y/n-ah?" harin hadn't felt this happy in a while. "ratting them out to me must be so heavy on your consciousness."
she looked you up and down, your eyes avoiding hers. your cheeks were tinged in red, and the guilt written all over your face didn't help the giddiness that was starting to overtake her.
"you're fun, y/n."
you'd do anything for her, even when she hurt you. even when everyone screamed and yelled at you to leave, ignoring the bright red stop signs.
"i like you."

Stupid Cupid — Bae
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing : bae x reader
song rec : why - kep1er
summary : bae’s crush on you might get outed by that darn stupid cupid!
a/n : just a lil something for the kids 🤭
Tumblr media
“YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!”. Kyujin laughed as Bae stared at the younger girls phone.
“What the hell happened Bae?”. As Haewon came closer to Bae’s desk she patted the younger girl on her back as she read out was on her screen.
“JYP High now has it’s own cupid page get ready for some juicy confessions and outs!..”
“What do they mean by out’s?”
“There doxing people’s love lives and Bae’s next!”. Kyujin laughed while Bae slumped back into her seat. Ever since the start of the year Bae has had a crush on you. A hallway crush to be exact.
Dispute the fact she only saw you for a good three seconds before she went to her bio class she swore she was in love. You were gorgeous, funny and adorable cute at times.
Granted Bae only saw displays of this twice she knew you were the one for her.
“I’ve got to figure out how who runs the account!”
“I’ll help!!”. Kyujin jumped out of her seat while Haewon rolled her eyes.
“Weren’t you making fun of her crush two seconds ago?”
“Ya.. but that doesn’t mean I can’t be a detective!”
-
“Kyujin bend down!”
“No! I’m not creasing my shoes!”
Right now Bae and Kyujin were surveilling the halls ways during there lunch period. It had been a few days since the cupid account had popped up; and now it was exposing people so Bae had to be quick.
“I still think it’s Sunoo…”
“We already went over this he only spreads gossip verbally Kyujin!”. The younger girl rolled her eyes as Bae got her eyes stuck on you.
It was a brief look but you still looked at her. At that Bae ducked into the nearest bathroom while Kyujin confused followed her.
“What happened?”
“She saw me!!”
“So?”
“And she smiled..”. Bae started to smile ear to ear like a kid as Kyujin sighed before her eyes went wide.
“What-“. Kyujin pushed Bae into one of the stalls and shushed her as the two girls heard people start to talk.
“So who are you going to expose next cupid”. One of the voices teased the other as Bae’s eyes went wide.
“Bae I know everyone would love to know who she likes”
“I know! Anyways you have a date or-“
“Tomorrow during gym since both of there classes will be mixed”. The two voices giggled before they left and Bae stood stunned.
“Well this is getting really juicy now Bae!”
-
Bae passed back and forth in the girls locker room as Kyujin tried to hype her up. Bae didn’t want you to figure out you liked her from a stupid account! So she was gonna tell you herself.
“You got this girl! Now go and get yourself a girlfriend!”. Bae’s eyes went wide as she felt Kyujin push her into the main gym.
Bae’s eyes wondered a while before she met yours. You smiled again then as Bae signaled to the gym door you followed her out.
“Did I do-“
“Ok I like you.. I you don’t know me and.. and I kinda don’t know you but I like you.. and I don’t want some stupid account tell you that.. I.. I know I only see you for a few seconds in the hallway but thats enough for me to like you.. you and your laugh and smile and very very pretty face.. so there I like you and it’s ok if you don’t like me..”. You stood stunned before you giggled and pulled out your phone.
Bae was so close to bolting back into the gym before you pulled her close and showed her your phone screen.
“Bae Suzy from class A241 has a crush on senior Kai!”
The cupid account was talk about Bae Suzy.. not Bae Jinsoul.
“I like you too”. Bae stared at you until you giggled and her cheeks went red.
“Right now probably not as much as you like me but I would like to change that.. if you-“
“Yes! I would love to change that!”. You giggled as Bae started to go in depth into her like of you. Then she didn’t know it but soon you were going to like her way more then she expected.
“I just wish that stupid cupid didn’t mess me up!”
You giggled before you spoke again.
“I well with out “stupid cupid” you wouldn’t have confessed would you?”. Bae blushed as the two of you continued to talk.
Maybe Cupid isn’t so stupid after all..

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— you planned a study date with your favourite girl after a long time of being separated due to your busy lives, and you noticed a tiny change on her that made you itch to do something new for the night…
word count: 1.7k.
tags: tooth-rotting fluff. that's it. tee hee.
requested? : nope.
a/n: hiya 🤓 welcome to ena’s fluff era 😭😭 i’m still gonna be very active on pupyuj and ofc i’ll still do tons of work there but this account is where all of my works that aren’t smut will go!! i hope you guys enjoy the work i will do here as much as you enjoyed the ones on pupyuj 🥺 p.s. ik the title is a bit far-off from the synopsis but let’s ignore it—
Tumblr media
2:07 a.m., it said on the digital clock sitting on your desk.
surprisingly enough, you were not tired. maybe it was the caffeine coursing through your veins, or the fact that you were actually enjoying studying for once. you weren’t a masochist; you could only be enjoying studying for one reason and it was because of one ahn yujin—your girlfriend who you were fortunate enough to accompany you this night.
“where are you going, (y/n)?” you heard yujin whine as soon as you started shuffling away from her side. she looked cute! with her oversized sweater that had her volleyball team’s mascot (in chibi form!) stitched on it (yujin was a middle blocker), her big glasses, and the scrunchie on her wrist that was so obviously yours.
between the hours and hours of staring at a screen, scribbling down notes, and reading material, yujin was fucking exhausted and it showed on her (very handsome—) face. she had a pout on her pretty lips—neither of you have spoken to each other too much in the name of trying to focus on your studies but yujin loved just having you there with her.
“i’m just going to get another cup of coffee. i’ll be back,” you said, squeezing her hand. but as soon as you tried to pull away, yujin yanks you back to her side, wrapping an arm around your waist tightly and pressing up against you. “baby! it takes like three minutes.” you giggle.
“no, you’ve already had too much… we’ll go to sleep soon,” her words were a bit muffled since she had her face buried on the crook of your neck. she raises her head slightly, looking up at you with her big puppy eyes that never ever failed to soften you up. “and i don’t like it when you’re away.” she mumbles.
oh, how she melts your heart.
“alright, cutie. i’ll stay.” you said, bumping your nose gently against hers.
if the way she almost immediately agreed to having a joint study session when you texted her about it days ago wasn’t enough to tell you how much she missed you, perhaps how she kissed you right now would. so soft you could barely feel it, and so sweet that warmth bloomed in your chest. you broke the kiss slightly just to take yujin’s glasses off her face, making her giggle softly before kissing you again.
a bit stronger this time—her hand rested on your waist, gently squeezing every now and then as she whimpered while you put your hand on the back of her neck, playing with her hair. her lips tasted like chocolates, most likely from the little treats she consumed every now and then because it helped her ‘focus’. you knew yujin just had a sweet tooth.
you could taste the chocolate on her lips, and after a single swipe of your tongue on her lips, you could taste it in her mouth. this was a much needed break, so you didn’t complain when yujin pulled you to her lap. both of you laughed at the way you nearly knocked yujin’s laptop off the bed, willing you to put your hands on her cheeks and control the kiss as you pleased.
‘finally,’ you thought. you felt your girlfriend tug at your shirt, making you laugh once again. she can be so needy. ‘we’ve both been waiting for too long.’
just as the kiss started to lead the two of you in that direction, something tickled the tip of your nose. you leaned back slightly, wondering just what gave you that weird sensation. yujin’s eyes slowly fluttered open, her lips forming another pout since she was so desperate (and determined!) to kiss you all night. then, you notice it—her cute bangs that have grown way too long.
they were nearly poking at her eyes! at first glance, yujin looked so cute but then you remembered the way she would shake her head softly every now and then to get her bangs away from her eyes, or how she would brush them away every second… and just then, you had a brilliant idea.
“baby, no… come back.” yujin whined when you slid off her lap. you grabbed a spare folding chair from the depths of your closet (you don’t remember why you have that, actually…) and disappeared into your bathroom. you were thankful to conveniently have a roommate who took cosmetology classes because any extra equipment she had, she stuffed it under your bathroom sink.
and so, you pulled out a cape and a pouch that contained various combs and scissors before swinging the bathroom door back open. yujin was standing right there, all cute and sleepy and very much confused.
“i need you to change into one of my shitty shirts.” you said, earning a head tilt from the taller girl.
“i love all your shirts, though.”
“come on…” you sighed deeply and went through your drawer on your own. inside you found a grey t-shirt with its design all faded out and chipped. yujin puts the shirt on as you so kindly requested and immediately, you dragged her inside the bathroom and sat her down in front of the mirror on the chair.
“look,” you gave her a kiss on her crown and softly patted her bangs. “i’m going to give them a little trim!” you exclaimed with a big smile.
yujin should be scared. not once has she ever seen you cut hair nor has she seen you hold a pair of scissors so clumsily like you did with the one you had on your hand now but instead, she grinned as widely as you did. “really?! i didn’t know you knew how to cut hair, baby!” she says excitedly. she turns her head to you—with her ‘brightness of a thousand suns’ grin and eye-smile, you couldn’t help but melt.
“j-just a little… but you don’t mind?” you asked.
“of course not! i believe in you,” yujin assures you. “plus, this is way cheaper than going to the salon and paying hundreds just for a little cut.”
you chuckled, “you’re lucky you’re my girlfriend then. otherwise i would’ve charged you like fifty dollars.”
yujin laughs along, “yeah. i’m really lucky.” she replied with warmth and sincerity in her voice. you couldn’t hold yourself back; you leaned down and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips. chocolates, still.
not long after you decided to get to work—yujin sat there quietly, trying her very hardest not to bop her head to the music you’ve put on (it was one of your shared playlists, particularly yujin’s favourite of the bunch) to fill the silence. yujin stared at your face through the mirror, her heart increasing its size every time she catches you do your little habits: biting the corners of your lips, blowing your own hair away when it gets in the way of your eyes, and the way your eyebrows furrowed so deeply from how focused you were.
“does that look okay?” you asked after a few minutes, stepping aside. her bangs were still a bit long, but you didn’t want to overdo it just in case yujin actually liked having them long.
“hm… they’re still a bit…” yujin replied, moving her head softly. obviously she wanted it shorter, so once again you gave her a kiss on the cheek before continuing your work.
it was obvious that yujin was struggling to sit still. she was a very active person! heck, while you were studying for hours, yujin would take small paces around your room and poke around every forty minutes just to keep herself entertained. of course, yujin wouldn’t dare ruin her hair so instead, she decided to keep her hands busy by playing with the hem of your shirt. she’d poke on your stomach, making you laugh and jokingly kick her shin but she’d do it again and you wouldn’t say anything. her cold hands felt right against your warm skin.
a few more laughs, short kisses, and ‘snips’ later, you once again stepped aside to let yujin have a look of herself.
“whoa!” your girlfriend exclaimed. she touches her bangs, moves her head around, and beams up at you. “you’re amazing, baby!” she was saying as you cleaned up the scissors and the cape. as soon as you took it off of her, yujin leaps up from her chair and hugs you tightly.
she peppers your face with kisses amidst your giggles and half-hearted attempts of kissing her back. “you’re the best, (y/n). thanks a lot.” yujin whispers in your ear as she embraced you a bit more gently. your caressed her hair, giving her a chaste kiss on her shoulder, before melting into her.
the two of you stayed that way for a while, until you leaned back to take a look at your girlfriend’s face. she was beautiful, except that her bangs were a bit shorter and, in yujin’s most honest opinion, a lot cuter. you pulled her down to give her a kiss in the forehead, her favourite, before she captures your lips in a kiss. having been this amazing girl’s lover for years now, you’ve come to know where these unexpected make-out sessions lead up to… and you definitely did not want the two of you to go there when the bathroom floor was littered with tiny strands of yujin’s hair.
“clean up first, babe,” you whispered against yujin’s lips. that got you another whine. “please?”
well, that quickly got yujin moving around. you laughed as she cleaned up the entire bathroom in record time and before you knew it, it looked as good as new. the least you could do was put the equipment away, so you folded up the cape and put the scissors in the pouch before tossing it all under the sink once again.
as soon as you stood back up, yujin hugs you from behind. you smile at her through the mirror, she smiles back. even brighter. you intertwined your hands and of course… yujin’s lips were on your skin again.
you giggled, feeling her soft kisses from your neck to your cheek, “do you ever get tired, baby?” you asked, turning your head and catching one of her many, many kisses.
yujin shakes her head, smiling at you like she wants you to fall in love with her all over again, “can’t help it.”

— a nice and eventful day out with your girlfriend gives you the peace and relaxation you’ve needed for a while despite it all being unexpected…
word count: 1.3k
tags: tooth-rotting fluff once again!
requested? : nope.
a/n: this is for the wonderful @vex91 🩵🩵 this kind of came out of the blue so i hope it isn’t too messy 💔 i hope you all (especially vexie!) enjoy this one! ☺️
Tumblr media
when your girlfriend told you that she was going to give you your well-earned rest, you thought would hand over a free admission to the local spa and massage salon or treat you to a nice dinner by the beautiful lake but then again, your girlfriend is ahn yujin. and ahn yujin was full of surprises.
she stood beside you with her eyes a million times bright than all the colourful lights that surrounded the two of you. she took note of your bewildered and utterly confused expression and laughed as she gently nudged your shoulder with her own. the smell of cinnamon and a whole lot of other sweet things start wafting into your nose, the sounds of machinery and the different music coming from numerous speakers were tantalizing despite your confusion. you turned to your girlfriend (whose eyes did not leave your face the entire time you let everything sink in) and spoke in a quiet voice, “the… fair?”
“THE FAIR!”
a couple of people turned their heads to your direction, making you slightly bow down yours as a small apology. yujin seems unaffected, however, slaps the all-you-can-ride wristband on your arm, “there was no way i was gonna let you miss this, of course! we’re gonna go on every ride, we’re gonna eat a lot of food, and we’re gonna be happy.” she said.
she pulls you aside so the two of you wouldn’t be in the middle of the pathway. yujin looked pretty under the golden lights of the giant carousel the two of you have decided to stand beside in. she takes your hands, “you’ve been wanting a break for a while. and i thought this would be fun. we don’t really do this often.” she raises your hands to your lips and gives them a soft kiss. “is this okay?” she whispers, this time with a quiver in her voice.
“are you kidding?” you smiled at her, then looked around. the entire place was bright with lights, music, energy, and happiness. this was the next best thing yujin could’ve done for you. “it’s more than enough.” and then you kissed her hands in return, grinning when she noticeably got shy.
“come on then, let’s have some fun!” yujin puts a fox ear headband on your head and a dog ear headband on her own before taking your hand and dragging you towards the nearest intense ride in the area.
it was more like yujin was going to have fun and you were going to scream your head off. she made sure to drag you to all of the scary rides. not only will she have the time of her life laughing at you but because you would hug her arm so tightly and refuse to let go the entire ride. was it worth the playful hits on the shoulder after? totally.
at least you beat her on almost all of the carnival games though. except for the ones that involved shooting balls through hoops—yujin played basketball a lot in high school, after all. she won you a lot of stuffed dolls and after the fourteenth doll, you had to drag her away from a game even though she absolutely refused. (she just really wanted to win you that giant snorlax plushie!)
last but not least, the two of you snacked on the variety of food that the fair offered! from corndogs, candy apples, rolled ice cream, shawarma, and (your personal favourite) mini donuts! yujin had insisted on sitting on one of the tables near the stage inside the fair. there was a live band that performed a variety of songs and you teased yujin about going up there and singing with them (since the band was inviting some audience members to sing and show off their talent) but she bashfully refused. always so humble about her talents!
“you’re such a messy eater.” you grabbed a napkin from your bag and wipe the ketchup from her lips (she was eating pigs in a blanket, saying that they looked too cute not to be feasted on). yujin grins while you cleaned her face up, and you couldn’t help but return the smile.
“thanks, love.” yujin says as you trashed the napkin. you pinched her cheek as a response, getting a whine in return. you then opted to watch as the band sang for the crowd, nodding your head along to the music.
(apparently, yujin much rather preferred watching you. her eyes were fixed on your face the entire time the band played. and even when you caught her staring and teased her for it, she refused to look away. happiness looked good on you. yujin wanted that feeling to be constant—even better if she were the one to make it so.)
what to do for the final hour? walk around the park right beside the fair where it was much more quiet, and where the two if you were offered some scenery as you decided to rest in the middle of a bridge. the stream underneath it ran smoothly along its path and you found joy in just staring as the sun reflected on it.
you averted your gaze from the stream to the skies above. a mix of orange, purple, and mostly pink. beautiful.
“look what i got us!” ah, speaking of beautiful. yujin approaches you with two sticks of cotton candy; hers was blue, yours was purple. “i couldn’t resist the kid that sold them. i swear this is our last snack today.” she leaned on the railing as you did, taking a bite out of the sweet stuff she had and humming in approval right after.
the two of you fall into a comfortable silence with only the sounds of the water running and the distant music accompanying you. you move closer to yujin, laying your head on her shoulder as you stared at the trees in the distance. you feel her rest her cheek on your head, and she wraps her free arm around your waist loosely to keep you close.
“did you like all of this, (y/n)?” yujin asked. you feel her thumb caressing your hip. you feel safe.
“of course. this is the best day i’ve had in a while,” you raised your head slightly. all your worries and troubles seem to just melt away when you look at yujin. “so thank you.” you lean close, laughing slightly when your foreheads bumped against each other by accident, and gave yujin a kiss so light it made her want more.
she doesn’t ask for more, she simply takes it. politely, of course. yujin tilts her head and catches your lips in a searing kiss. you giggled at her enthusiasm but you returned the affection with the same energy, your own free arm snaking around her back and clutching her sweater. her lips tasted sweet, must be the cotton candy. you liked it.
yujin pulls you closer (maybe she tasted the cotton candy on you too), never really having enough of your kiss and always needing more. a gust of wind blows towards your direction and what with yujin melting you into a puddle, your grip on your cotton candy stick loosens, making you accidentally drop it into the stream.
“shoot—sorry, yuj.” you apologized, watching as the water washed the cotton candy away along with its stick.
“it’s okay,” yujin gives you a kiss on your temple and pats your head. “we can share this one!” she said, raising her cotton candy to your face. well, with a smile like hers, how could you resist? you took a bite out of the blue cotton candy, humming in approval at its delicious blueberry flavour. yujin couldn’t resist kissing you again, making you giggle but it was welcomed.
“i’m glad you enjoyed this day, (y/n),” yujin presses her forehead against yours. “and i want to give you more days like these. if you let me.”
you laughed softly and gave her nose a small kiss, “i’m looking forward to it all, love.”
the two of you spent the rest of your time there on that bridge—warm and happy while sharing cotton candy kisses underneath the pretty, pink skies.

→ “new year’s day.” || kim jiwon (liz) x reader fic.

— while getting your well-deserved rest after an exhausting new year’s eve party, you and jiwon reflect on the long year you’ve both had under the stars of a new year…
word count: 3.4k
tags: fluff, friends to lovers, non-idol au, college au, side annyeongz.
requested? : nope.
a/n: looks around… this is for people who are still feeling the new year’s spirit!! 😭 i didn’t expect to finish this so late but eek i’m finally setting her free from the dungeons! i hope everybody had a happy new year’s day and i’m wishing you all only good times in 2024 🎉🎉
Tumblr media
the start of a new year, and the first words you hear…?
“this is what happens when you invite everyone to bring their own drinks while having your liquor cabinet free to access.”
you never thought that jiwon, someone who was just a tad bit weirder and crazier than you are, would say that to you out of everybody but there you were—standing in the mess of your living room and witnessing the aftermath of a very long and very loud new year’s eve party. it looked as if everybody puked yellow confettis and shat golden glitters because it truly was in every nook and cranny of the room.
at least six people were passed out on the floor. the only thing you were happy about was that they were people that you knew, not some strangers you would have to drive to their home the morning after. jiwon starts picking up the empty alcohol bottles scattered on the floor while you merely stared dumbly. where the hell would you even start cleaning up?
“yujin-unnie, please do not sleep on the stairs.” jiwon, with four bottles tucked in her arms, scolds the older girl who was indeed passed out on the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. yujin mutters something incomprehensible and reaches for the bottom of jiwon’s pants when the blonde tried to turn around and walk away. jiwon sighs and looks at you with pleading eyes.
“i got her,” you said. you pried yujin’s grip off jiwon’s ankle and picked her up, nearly falling down as you did so since yujin was so much taller. “wony’s in one of the rooms upstairs somewhere. i’ll just have unnie room with her.” and so you started climbing the stairs while dragging the older girl with you. jiwon made sure to stay close just in case both you and yujin lost balance, bless her heart.
you knocked on a door with several heart stickers plastered all over it. wonyoung, your roommate, opens up immediately. “hiya! oh,” the tall girl’s smile slightly faltered when she saw yujin’s state. her eyes switched back and forth between your awkward smile, the sight of jiwon scratching her head, and yujin being completely gone. “i love your parties so much, (y/n). someone’s always bound to be basically dead by the end of the night.” wonyoung laughed.
“i don’t know how it always happens… but can you help me with unnie? i don’t want her sleeping with the other girls downstairs—you know how they are with her.” you said.
“by ‘them’ you mean… her exes?” wonyoung asked, giggling.
“chaewon-unnie getting yujin-unnie alone is crazy enough. imagine adding yuri-unnie, gaeul-sunbae, seeun-unnie, and those other two…” you shivered at the thought. yujin grumbles in reply, raises her head a bit, and weakly says wonyoung’s name before pathetically attempting to walk towards her, only to nearly fall flat on her face.
luckily, wonyoung was quick to catch the older girl. “okay, let’s get you to lie down, yujin-ah.” wonyoung says before assisting yujin towards her bed.
worried, you tried to follow after the two girls but jiwon grabs your sleeve. “wony’s got unnie. let’s go.” the blonde closes wonyoung’s bedroom door and drags you back downstairs. right, you still had to clean up and find a place for all the girls on the floor to sleep in.
it was hell. once you’ve both picked up enough bottles to fill up four entire garbage bags, you ran all over your house to find an extra mattress and some pillows for the three girls who couldn’t fit into the sofa bed. somewhere along the way, you gave up on assisting the girls by carrying some of their weight and just… dragged them by their arms to their makeshift beds.
they seemed comfortable. but then again, they were unconscious.
either way, you and jiwon happily retreated to the kitchen to get some drinks. soft drinks—jiwon absolutely refused to let you have a sip of anything that had alcohol in them. there was still some leftover pizza that miraculously survived, so you and jiwon feasted on that as you watched the neon lights dance in your living room.
you turned your head to look at jiwon, who now busied herself cleaning up the countertops, her blonde hair shining under the fluorescent lights. and it just came to you that moments like this with jiwon were rare. the two of you were part of a big friend group so not everybody was going to be too close and much to your dismay, you and jiwon were that kind of duo in the group.
‘much to your dismay’ because you had the biggest crush on her.
“are you finished with that?”
see, you asked that same question to yourself sometimes. are you finished crushing on kim jiwon? there was never a clear answer. every time you tried to move on, jiwon just randomly shows up and steals your heart again. whether it’s giving you the cutest, shy smile when you pass by each other in the hallways, the way you’d sometimes catch her staring whenever your group was together and talking, or… when she does you all these little favours—like clarifying difficult material for you in school despite being in different programs, doing chores in your own house (like she is right now) since wonyoung makes her come over often (for obvious reasons), and checking up on you randomly.
plus, those dimples are irresistible.
“(y/n)?” jiwon tilts her head at you. you blinked, realizing that you’d been mindlessly staring at her like a creep all this time.
“r-right, sorry. i’m exhausted.” you handed over your plate.
“i think you should go to sleep actually. it’s been a long night,” jiwon steals a short glance over her shoulder to smile a you. “i can look after you.”
ba-thump.
god, you were a walking cliché.
“no, no. it would be rude for me to make you clean up the mess in my home. let me help you with that.” you started with grabbing all the random trash scattered all over your countertops and putting them in garbage bags. meanwhile, jiwon had started washing the dishes, now with her beautiful hair pulled up into a loose ponytail.
you tried not to pay attention to your warm cheeks too much as you moved about in your kitchen trying to clean up, but it was difficult. you couldn’t stop looking at jiwon every other minute, and you’d just looked away awkwardly on the rare times she’d look up from the sink to catch your glances. maybe you were imagining it, but you saw jiwon smiling to herself after she caught you staring for the umpteenth time.
maybe she thought you were stupid. in that case then, fuck. (stupidly cute maybe.)
when you came back from putting the trash bags in the garbage bin outside your house, your kitchen was nearly spotless. courtesy of jiwon who had enough energy to reorganize the misplaced items and wipe the marble countertops clean (she even sanitized it!). jiwon smiled as you entered the kitchen, “we have less to worry about in the morning now.” she said.
did that mean she was going to sleep here tonight? your heart races at the idea, but this wasn’t the time to think about that!
“you didn’t have to do all that, jiwon-ah. but thank you,” you say sincerely. when the blonde sends an appreciative smile your way, you bashfully turned your head and suddenly found your kitchen island more interesting. “knowing me i would’ve slept on the floor and made it all a tomorrow problem.” you chuckled awkwardly.
“well, now we can relax.” jiwon yawns and stretches her arms. all the partying, the ‘making-sure-yujin-doesn’t-sleep-with-thirteen-girls-in-one-night-again’ saga, and the clean-up seemed to be catching up to her. and suddenly, an idea came to mind.
here’s the thing about you, (y/n) (l/n). throwing the best parties all year long is your specialty, sure, but you’re also very good at finding the best ways one could loosen up and, as jiwon said, relax.
“i have the perfect place for you.” was all jiwon heard from you before you disappeared into your bedroom, leaving her standing at the bottom of yours stairs all confused. but excited, nevertheless.
it didn’t take long for you to come back downstairs, seeing as you only had to a zip-up jacket and a big, warm blanket (a pompompurin themed blanket, to be exact). “wear this! no doubt it’s a bit chilly out there.” after that, you wasted no time taking jiwon’s hand and slowly tugging her towards the direction of your backyard.
jiwon looked adorable in your jacket. she was taller than you but the jacket fit her just right. how funny it would be if she were to wear my clothes all the time? ha-ha, or be my girlfrie—
“(y/n),” jiwon gasped as she realize you were taking her to your very famous hammock. ‘famous’ because everyone and their mothers always ‘call dibs’ on your hammock whenever you were having a party. your backyard sees just as much action as your living room does during your parties. the wide space gave people a lot of freedom to do whatever they want, but what they loved more than that was your hammock. “i’m so honoured to be the first person in this new year to lay on the (y/n) (l/n)’s hammock.” jiwon teased.
“oh, please. just get in there and relax.”
and so, you assisted in getting jiwon lay comfortably in your hammock. she struggled a bit, yelping and laughing as the hammock swayed back and forth while she tried getting on it.
“hey, wait,” jiwon grabs your arm before you could leave alone. you blinked down at her, your eyes all lazy since fatigue was finally catching up to you. “lay with me.”
immediately, your face heated up. “w-what? why?”
“it’s comfortable! and don’t tell me this hammock can’t hold more than one grown adult—i’ve seen literal brutes stack up in here and this thing still held up,” jiwon’s grip on your sleeve was tight, and you wouldn’t have moved away if you wanted to anyway. “come here.” it came out of jiwon’s lips as a whisper, her eyes pleading you to stay.
“okay…” you walked around the other side and occupied the empty space on the hammock that jiwon had reserved for you. you struggled too, having to hold onto jiwon just to make sure you don’t fall out of the hammock and into the damp green grass. taking your eyes off of the leaves above you, you looked at jiwon’s hand that fell to your waist. she had a soft grip on your sweater, making sure you were secure with her.
“they weren’t kidding about this hammock,” you heard jiwon laugh. you looked up at her, her face bright with a big smile that made you crack a grin of your own. “it’s super comfortable.” you hummed in response. as the owner yourself, you could confirm! you couldn’t count how many afternoons you’ve spent softly swinging in this very same hammock after swim practice or a day of studying.
the two of you fall into a comfortable silence. it was when you suddenly found yourself looking everywhere but jiwon. well, with your proximity how could you? one of you would look up and your foreheads would touch—that would make you faint! as if being envelope by her scent and jiwon herself wasn’t enough!
“it was a long year for everyone,” jiwon mutters minutes later. your eyes fluttered open, meeting the blonde’s very own warm brown ones. “i was talking with a lot of our friends earlier and they all said a lot of things happened that they didn’t expect at all. and i feel the same, honestly.” jiwon wraps the blanket around the two of you after she caught you shivering slightly.
“really? felt like it was the same damn thing for me… at least i got better at swimming though.” you chuckled, having remembered that you recently beat your old speed record by three seconds. that was a good day—wonyoung and yujin acted as if you won the championship with the way they doted on you right after. something about being so proud of their ‘baby’.
“and you got smarter. turns out spending your free period studying diligently instead of going downtown and splurging money on arcades and food isn’t all that bad, huh?” jiwon says. she was most likely talking about how you struggled with a few of your classes but eventually, with the help of a fucking miracle that is, survived with decent to impressive grades.
“please, i was miserable… at least i’ll graduate, i guess,” you shrugged, earning a light hit on the hip from jiwon. “what was so different with your year?” you asked, moving just a little bit closer to her.
jiwon clears her throat, suddenly finding your full attention on her being a bit much, “well… i made new friends, fixed my relationship with rei even though we broke up, got even smarter, and i…” she trails off, smiling to herself. “i fell in love again.” she mumbles.
you ignored the way your heart clenched within itself. “what? when were you going to tell us?” you asked, grinning and trying to tease her.
“i was hoping never.” jiwon looked away, her cheeks flushed pink. if that person got sweet little jiwon giggling and smiling like this, then they can’t be that bad, right? you can be happy for them both, right?
“come on—not even wonyoung?” you asked again. the blonde shook her head. “how about me? i got no one to tell! off the record, i swear! i promise i will never let it slip that someone’s got you all whipped for them!” jiwon hits your shoulder lightly while you laughed. at least jiwon herself admits that this person makes her happy. that was good enough for you.
as long as jiwon stays as her smiley, weird self, then you were going to be okay.
“fine. drop the dish later but can you at least tell me that you kissed them when the clock struck 12?” it would hurt to know, but you had to.
a solemn expression takes over jiwon’s relaxed expression. you mirrored her face, afraid that you might have pushed the wrong button. “i couldn’t. she was… occupied.” jiwon stares at you, her eyes pained and regretful.
(as you consoled jiwon with a squeeze on her arm and a supportive smile, as you always do, she looks back on the time when the new year finally came and everybody grabbed their cherished one and hugged and kissed them. that time, she had been staring at one person—you, the girl she was hopelessly infatuated with.
a confetti canon pops, “happy new year!!” everyone shouted in unison before cheering. jiwon feels wonyoung and rei grab her before they closed the distance and attacked her cheeks with kisses, making her squeak and wriggle out of their hold with her face beet-red. rei and wonyoung giggled, gave each other kisses on the cheek before moving on to other people.
it should be noted that a certain ahn yujin grabbed wonyoung’s arm out of nowhere and pulled her to a dark and less populated area to do who-knows-what.
jiwon greets her friends a happy new year, hugged them, but she couldn’t look away from you. you were in the center of the living room with a drink in your hand, chatting and laughing with everybody else. you were hugging people, kissing people… pretty much everybody was lining up just to chat with you.
(y/n) (l/n). so damn charming. even jiwon couldn’t help but fall in love.
amidst the sea of people crowding you, your gaze meets jiwon’s. the blonde girl froze where she stood, eyes widened slightly. but of course she didn’t have anything to worry about. jiwon watched as your eyes shined upon meeting her own, looking like you were the happiest girl in the world, before you gave jiwon a wave with a shy smile.
the moment was quick to be taken away as some party-goers averted your attention from jiwon to them, making the blonde girl sigh and wonder just when will she be able to tell you everything she has been feeling for years.
maybe it was jiwon’s fault for never having the courage. you had a lot of people chasing after your affection; what are the chances that she was your type? if there even is one.)
“enough about me. how about you? kissed that special someone?” jiwon asks. your face heats up again. you admit, you did want to risk everything and just… take the chance. but that was before you knew that she had someone in her heart. now you were afraid to even look at her in fear of your secret being let out. and by yourself, no less!
“u-uh… no… i couldn’t either.”
jiwon scoffed, “you’re the most admired girl in the campus and you’re telling me you didn’t have a little session with someone? come on, (y/n), you can tell me.” she shakes your arm, pouting with a pleading look on her face.
shit, how could you resist her?
hiding your feelings have always been a very difficult task for you. people think you’ve always got yourself under control but more often than not, that was just a façade. you were a fucking mess. and sweet little jiwon’s existence unfortunately contributes to the reasons as to why you sometimes struggle to keep your feelings in check.
soft and kind coffee brown eyes that are like magnets to your own. cheeks that you’ve always wanted to hold in your hands. lips that are so inviting… and a golden heart that’s completely got you under its spell.
you are so in love.
“couldn’t kiss her,” you mumbled. perhaps jiwon noticed the solemn look in your face since she decided to stop squeezing your arm. instead, her hand slides into yours. comforting you and keeping you warm. “b-because… y-you didn’t…” god, were you really going to do this? now? awkward timing aside—jiwon liked someone else! you’d only look like an idiot confessing now… but then again… better to look like an idiot to the girl you like than anyone else.
“huh?” jiwon, rightfully confused, furrows her eyebrows.
“i couldn’t kiss her because… you didn’t… kiss me,” again, a walking cliché. you hoped that the way you suddenly found the trees above you interesting and how you immediately released jiwon from your soft hold told her everything. “i like you, jiwon-ah…”
despite your gut telling you ‘no’, you looked at jiwon again. she was surprised, as expected. her eyes were widened slightly, her lips half open in shock. your chest tightens. you shouldn’t have told her. should’ve kept your mouth shut. what a way to start the new year—creep your crush out by confessing to her in a very odd close distance.
(well, fuck.
in a good way. it was all jiwon could think about at the moment. she never thought that her crush of several years would confess to her at such a time. she should probably say something. do something, even.
but she just laid there staring at you thinking… was it too late in the day to kiss you?)
with a quivering voice, you spoke. “i-i’m sorry, jiwon. i shouldn’t have… i should go.” you moved to get up, not feeling like you could withstand the feeling of shame and regret in front of jiwon any longer. however, jiwon had other ideas. she grabs your arm and stops you from leaving her, and then her other hand cups your cheek and pulls you in.
jiwon kissed you. her soft lips tasted like caramel, mocha and soda, moving in sync with your shaky ones. you allow yourself to melt, tilting your head and deepening the kiss as jiwon wraps both of her arms around your neck, making sure that you wouldn’t try to leave her again. you feel her hands in your hair, her fingers softly caressing your locks—you’ve never felt so warm and… safe until now. it was a relieving feeling.
when you pulled away, jiwon’s eyes shined akin to the thousands of stars above you. “you can’t say that i didn’t kiss you now.” she says with a sly smirk. her tone was smug and teasing, but you knew with the way her face was flushed pink that even she couldn’t believe she just went ahead and kissed you.
and when jiwon tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and whispered just how much she adored you before catching your lips in a sweet kiss once again, you knew that this year was going to be full of surprises. and you couldn’t have it any other way! as long as you were with jiwon.

→ “a long road ahead.” || ahn yujin x reader fic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— you set off on an approximate six-or-more-hour drive with your girlfriend and you come across your greatest enemy: boredom…
word count: 1.4k
tags: fluff, literally just yujin and yn being cute while on the road like stopppp, me when.
requested? : nope.
a/n: is anybody surprised that i'm already on my third yujin fic? no? yeah, me either... anyway this one's going to be kinda short since it's a pretty simple idea to begin with :] hope ya'll like it 🥺💕
Tumblr media
yujin knew that as soon as you dropped your nintendo switch on your lap, you were bored as hell.
she was only able to take a few short glances in your direction from time to time since it was her turn on the wheel, but she could see it all in the little habits that you showed whenever you were weary. your eyes wandered, you couldn’t sit still, you weren’t sitting up straight like you usually did, and the most notable habit, you started talking with impatience evident in your voice.
your constant sighs along with your tiny mumbles and occasional grumbles were nothing short of adorable for yujin. especially with the way you got frustrated from playing animal crossing of all things. but having been your lover for years now, yujin knew all the things that would ease you and hopefully even cure your boredom.
she reaches for her phone and opens it, earning a ‘tsk’ from you.
“eyes on the road, miss.” you said, nudging your girlfriend’s arm.
“i got it, love. one sec.” yujin seamlessly switches to your favourite playlist and triumphantly smiles as she did so. you shook your head, not at all a fan of her recklessness. although you were happy that she thought of playing your favourite songs instead of the usual playlists for a trip like this.
a smile graces yujin’s face when she saw how you’ve relaxed on your seat, softly humming to the songs you love as you stared at the long road ahead.
“you don’t want to take a nap? it’ll be a while before we make a stop.” yujin said, eyes briefly switching from the gps and back onto the road. there were still three and a half hours of driving before the two of you reach your destination. even yujin thinks it might’ve been better if neither of you drove but instead, just flown to that other city.
“and who’s gonna keep you in check? surely not azzo.” you looked at yujin’s beloved puppy sitting on the backseat of the car. azzo was diligently decimating her chew toy. good girl!
“i promise i’ll only stay ten over the speed limit.” yujin says with a cheeky smile, earning a soft punch in the shoulder from you. you don’t fall asleep; it was impossible! yujin found every way to keep you up and alert either by randomly touching your face, taking your hand and kissing it, or simply just letting it rest on your lap. she probably knew, but you were so giddy. you couldn’t hide your smile, even when you turned your face away.
damn yujin. she will always make your heart jump.
if she wasn’t constantly touching you, yujin was singing. and when she was singing, she was a mess. head-banging, slamming her hands on the steering wheel, even honking out of nowhere. yujin didn’t care that she looked stupidly insane, she cared that it made you smile and laugh. although you did scold her when she swerved a bit after singing too passionately.
when you noticed that yujin had a pout on her face a few moments later, you knew only one thing could cheer her up. well, two things. food and kisses, mostly the food part. after giving azzo some treats, you proceeded on feeding yujin and yourself. she had insisted on bring some donuts for the ride, saying that she needed the sugar to keep herself awake. but you knew the silly thing just wanted some donuts.
“you picked all my favourites?” yujin asks. you hum in reply since your mouth was full. you don’t notice the loving look yujin gives you before she turns her head back towards the road. a small action from you, but one she appreciated beyond understanding.
“one could never go wrong with the excellence that is the strawberry flavour.” yujin says, licking her lips. you shook your head and wiped her mouth as best as you could before continuing one eating. yujin was much, much happier after getting fed and a much happier yujin was a much happier you of course!
eventually, and thankfully, you had to stop at a near-empty gas station for a bit of a break and to refill the tank. while yujin busied herself taking azzo out of the car to run around, you decided to stick with the car and fill it up. there were still a few hours of driving left, thinking about it made you groan out loud and roll your eyes. at least it was going to be your turn to drive though, it wouldn’t be too boring.
“babe, we should have lunch.” yujin says after you finished what you needed to do.
“wouldn’t that just keep us on the road for longer?” you asked, scratching your head.
“well, you need to relax! and we both know those donuts didn’t do too much for our stomach. come on, the restaurant’s open.” yujin nods her head to the eatery right next to the gas station—it was empty.
well, you couldn’t exactly say no to food, much less your girlfriend, so you ended up parking the car nearby and entering the eatery with yujin and azzo following close behind. you and yujin (and azzo) chose to sit in the booth on the farthest corner of the eatery, and you stared out of the window and into the empty road.
even if you miraculously teach your destination quicker than expected, there were still things needed to be done that would chip the day away fast. checking in at the hotel, dropping off all your things in your room, organizing the plans for your getaway, dinner, shopping, outfits—
“why’s mama so grumpy today, mommy?” yujin spoke with a ridiculous high-pitched voice. you turned your head and scoffed at the sight of her ‘talking’ with azzo.
“because mama’s got a lot on her mind! see that look in her eyes?” you were glaring at the snickering yujin. “she could summon a storm!” a hearty laugh leaves yujin’s mouth when you rolled your eyes. of course, you would never be upset at yujin and you knew that she was doing these seemingly annoying antics to cheer you up. you loved her a lot for that.
yujin lets azzo sit on her side of the booth before sitting beside you. she wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you close. automatically, you lay your head on her shoulder, sighing blissfully at the feeling of her warmth next to you. “let’s look in the bright side, okay? we finally have all the time in the world just for the two of us, and azzo. as soon as we reach the hotel, we can just have fun and do everything we’ve been wanting to do but couldn’t because of work. think about that, and suddenly, a few more hours of driving doesn’t sound so horrible, huh?”
as always, you could rely on yujin’s positivity to kickstart your own. you nodded, putting your hand on her thigh and squeezing it gently. “you’re right, yujin-ah,” you raised your head slightly, frowning. “sorry i’ve been real stingy this entire time.”
“nah, don’t worry about it,” yujin ruffles your hair and kisses your head, making you giggle and snuggle even closer to her. “i love you even if you’re feisty. and you know i love it when you are.” yujin winks at you, making you grimace and pinch her cheek.
“i love you too, idiot.”
you had a good time at that restaurant. you and yujin took turns feeding each other, discussed the details of your plans only to end up adding even more plans just to maximize your time and fun for as long as you can, and she even teased you about a gift she prepared beforehand which of course got you so curious that you asked her endless questions about it. surprisingly enough, yujin could control herself and managed to not spill a single clue about her gift. she said you simply had to wait and be patient like you always are.
(it was a promise ring. one she would give to you five days from now during a romantic candlelit dinner in a beachside restaurant.)
after eating, you, yujin, and azzo set off in your homey car once again. this time, however, you had a smile on your face! brought only by the cutest girlfriend that made the long drive a lot less boring and more fun, loud, and exciting.

you and ning just finished watching a movie together and ningning was smiling and giggling while playing with your hair, glad to be able to hang out with you after a long week of finals.
you checked your phone for the time.
9:34pm 21:34
"hey, ning. i gotta go soon. it's getting late," you muttered.
"nooooo," she whined, frowning and grabbing onto your arm.
"i have to go home and finish my homework."
"just stay here, i can help you!" she held your arm tighter.
"i left it at home," you frowned.
"please, yn. stay."
you debated on whether or not you should stay or go home. i mean your apartment wasn't too far from hers, so it should be fine.. it's just that you didn't want to walk there and come back. you frowned.
ningning looked at you with puppy dog eyes, "don't leave me alone.. please?" she begged.
you sighed, it was only a 3 minute walk, "fine."
she smiled brightly, kissing you all over your face and hugging you. this made you smile a bit. being able to make her happy. it made you feel good. you got up and put on your shoes.
"wanna come with me?" you smiled.
she smiled back, just brighter, "yeah!" she instantly got up and put on a pair of shoes and a jacket, handing your jacket to you as well.
"promise you'll actually help me with my homework and not goof off?" you raised an eyebrow.
she nodded, "of course, love."
you smiled softly, she was probably gonna get bored and do her own thing at some point, but you could care less. as long as she was happy, you were too, "let's go then."

In the bustling city of Seoul, where towering skyscrapers touched the sky and the pulse of urban life echoed through every street, a new kind of hero emerged. Clad in a sleek red and black suit, Spiderwoman swung from building to building, keeping a watchful eye on the city she vowed to protect.
Yu Jimin, a seemingly ordinary woman by day, carried the weight of a secret identity. By night, she embraced her extraordinary abilities and became the guardian of Seoul. As Spiderwoman, she effortlessly swung through the cityscape, her agility and strength unmatched.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Jimin perched atop a high-rise building, scanning the city for any signs of trouble. Her enhanced senses picked up on a distant commotion, and with a graceful leap, she swung into action.
Down on the streets, chaos ensued as a group of villains wreaked havoc, terrorizing innocent civilians. Without hesitation, Spiderwoman descended upon the scene, her presence casting a shadow over the criminals.
"Looks like the party's over, gentlemen," she quipped, her voice laced with a confident edge.
The villains, startled by the sudden appearance of the city's masked guardian, prepared to face off against the formidable Spiderwoman. The confrontation unfolded in a series of acrobatic moves and swift strikes, showcasing Jimin's mastery of her newfound abilities.
As the last villain was apprehended, Spiderwoman turned to the gathered crowd, her mask concealing the determined glint in her eyes. "Fear not, citizens of Seoul. Spiderwoman is here to ensure your safety."
Word of the mysterious heroine spread across the city, capturing the imagination of its inhabitants. While Jimin navigated her daily life as an unassuming individual, she couldn't deny the thrill that came with her nightly escapades as Spiderwoman.
In a city where shadows concealed both villains and heroes, Jimin grappled with the responsibility that came with her extraordinary abilities. The balance between protecting the city and preserving her personal life became a delicate dance, and as the night sky witnessed her silent struggles, Seoul remained oblivious to the identity of its mysterious guardian, Spiderwoman.

It was move-in day at the college dorms, and the hallways buzzed with excitement and nervous energy. yn, lugging a heavy suitcase behind her, scanned the room numbers until she found hers: Room 302. With a deep breath, she pushed open the door and stepped inside.
The room was small but cozy, furnished with two twin beds, desks cluttered with textbooks, and a large window overlooking the campus grounds. yn's eyes landed on her new roommate, who was unpacking a box of books with an infectious smile on her face.
Jimin looked up and flashed a warm grin at yn. "Hey there! You must be my new roommate. I'm Yu Jimin. It's nice to meet you!"
yn returned the smile, instantly feeling at ease in Jimin's presence. "Hi, Jimin. I'm yn. Nice to meet you too."
And with that simple introduction, the bond between Jimin and yn began to form, setting the stage for the adventures that lay ahead. What yn didn’t know was that her quirky and endearing roommate held a secret that would change both of their lives forever.
____________________
After their initial meeting, Jimin and yn quickly settled into their roles as roommates. Jimin's bubbly personality and penchant for nerdy jokes brought a lightness to their shared space, while yn's calm and grounded demeanor provided a sense of stability.
As days turned into weeks, yn couldn't help but notice a peculiar pattern. Jimin seemed to have an uncanny knack for getting injured. Whether it was tripping over her own feet or accidentally bumping into furniture, Jimin always seemed to have a new bruise or scrape to show for it.
At first, yn brushed it off as Jimin just being incredibly clumsy. She would tease Jimin gently, offering band-aids and ice packs whenever Jimin came back from another misadventure.
But as time went on, yn couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to Jimin's frequent injuries. She noticed the way Jimin would tense up whenever yn asked about how she got hurt, quickly deflecting the conversation with a laugh or a joke.
yn's curiosity grew, and she began to pay closer attention to Jimin's behavior. She noticed how Jimin would sometimes slip out of their dorm room in the middle of the night, only to return hours later looking exhausted and worn out.
Despite her suspicions, yn didn't confront Jimin about her weird midnight escapades. Instead, she quietly observed, but the more she observed Jimin, the more confused she felt.
What on earth could her dorky roommate be up to?

Amidst the bustling city streets, chaos reigned as a gang of masked criminals wreaked havoc, their nefarious intentions casting a shadow of fear over the unsuspecting civilians. Amidst the chaos, a lone figure swung gracefully through the air, her lithe form a blur of crimson and black against the night sky.
Spiderwoman, as she was known to the citizens of the city, moved with fluid precision, her keen senses alert to the danger that lurked around every corner. With effortless grace, she leaped from building to building, her web-slinging abilities propelling her forward with astonishing speed.
As she closed in on the scene of the crime, Spiderwoman's senses tingled with anticipation, her heart pounding with adrenaline-fueled excitement. With a deft flick of her wrist, she shot a web line towards a nearby lamppost, swinging around it with practiced ease before landing gracefully on the ground below.
With a swift and decisive movement, Spiderwoman sprang into action, her movements a blur of acrobatic prowess as she dispatched her foes with precision and finesse. Her spider-like agility and lightning-fast reflexes left the criminals reeling, their futile attempts to strike back thwarted at every turn.
As the last of the criminals lay defeated at her feet, Spiderwoman allowed herself a brief moment of satisfaction before turning her attention back to her true objective. With a confident smirk, she shot a web line towards the nearest rooftop, launching herself into the air with a graceful leap.
Minutes later, Spiderwoman landed silently on the rooftop of the college dormitory she shared with yn, her heart racing with exhilaration from the night's events. With practiced stealth, she slipped through the window and into the darkness of her room, her secret identity safe for another day.

One evening, as yn was studying in the shared dorm room, she heard a loud crash coming from the living area. Startled, she rushed out to find Jimin sprawled on the floor, clutching her ankle in pain.
"Jimin, are you okay?"
Jimin winced as she attempted to sit up, her face contorted in pain. "I think I twisted my ankle. It hurts like crazy."
yn hurried to Jimin's side, helping her to sit up and inspecting the injury. Sure enough, Jimin's ankle was swollen and bruised, a clear sign of a sprain.
yn tried to be as gentle as possible with her injured roommate, "let's get some ice on that ankle. I'll grab a cold pack from the freezer."
As yn tended to Jimin's injury, she couldn't help but notice how frequently her roommate seemed to get hurt. It was as if Jimin was a magnet for accidents, always finding herself in precarious situations that resulted in bumps, bruises, and sprains.
Despite her curiosity, yn didn't press Jimin for details about how she got hurt. Instead, she focused on providing comfort and support, knowing that her roommate needed her in moments like these.
As Jimin winced in pain, yn couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Jimin's injuries than met the eye. But for now, she pushed aside her suspicions and focused on helping her friend heal.
____________________
One afternoon, as yn returned to their dorm room after class, she absentmindedly pushed open the door without bothering to knock. To her surprise, she found Jimin standing shirtless in the middle of the room, a towel draped over her shoulders.
yn's eyes widened in surprise as she took in the sight of Jimin's bare torso, but her attention was quickly drawn to the large cut spanning across Jimin's back.
"Jimin, what the hell happened!? You're bleeding!" the younger girl shrieked.
Jimin jumped in surprise, hastily grabbing the towel to cover herself as she turned to face yn.
Jimin stammered, trying to come up with a reasonable explanation. "Oh, uh, it's nothing. Just a little mishap while I was... uh, working out." Nailed it.
yn could see the discomfort in Jimin's expression as she hesitated to explain the true cause of her injury. Without another word, yn grabbed the first aid kit from their shared bathroom and motioned for Jimin to sit down on the bed.
"Let me take care of that for you. It looks pretty deep." Jimin felt herself freezing up at the soft look yn sent her way, she obediently walked towards her roommate.
As yn carefully cleaned and bandaged Jimin's wound, she couldn't help but notice the nervous energy radiating from her roommate. It was clear to yn that Jimin was hiding something, but she didn't press for answers, respecting Jimin's privacy.
As they sat in silence, the air thick with unspoken words, yn couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Jimin than met the eye. For now, she focused on helping her friend heal, unaware of the deeper feelings brewing beneath the surface.
As she finished wrapping up Jimin’s wound, yn couldn’t help but break the silence that enveloped them.
“You know…” yn began “you don’t have to tell me what actually happened, but I hate it when you get hurt. Please try to be more careful from now on, I can’t bare to see you in pain”. With those words yn got up to put away the first aid kit.
Jimin didn’t say anything, but she couldn’t deny that yn’s words had affected her in a way she couldn’t really describe. She couldn’t keep ignoring the butterflies she felt every time she locked eyes with yn.
____________________
Despite her best efforts to be subtle, Jimin's attempts at dropping hints about her developing feelings for yn were about as inconspicuous as a flashing neon sign. Whether it was lingering glances, awkward attempts at flirting, or fumbling over her words whenever yn was around, Jimin's attempts to express her affection were anything but discreet.
yn, however, wasn't oblivious to Jimin's antics. In fact, she found them rather endearing. She couldn't help but smile to herself whenever Jimin stumbled over her words or blushed furiously whenever their eyes met. yn appreciated Jimin's efforts, even if they weren't exactly subtle.
Despite her awareness of Jimin's feelings, yn decided to play along, enjoying the playful banter and the budding friendship between them. She didn't comment on Jimin's less-than-subtle approach, opting instead to let her roommate express herself in her own quirky way.
As they navigated the delicate dance of friendship and budding romance, yn couldn't help but feel a warmth blossom in her chest whenever she thought of Jimin. Maybe, just maybe, there was something more than friendship brewing between them, and yn was eager to see where their journey would take them.

("What do you think of superheroes?"
"Um, they're pretty cool, I guess. Why?"
"Oh, no reason. Just curious."
"Okay... Anyway, what's on your mind?"
"Oh, nothing important. Just, you know, hanging out with my favorite person."
"Smooth, Jimin."
"I try my best."
"Uh huh. Well, keep practicing."
"Ouch, right in the ego."
"Hey, you're the one who asked for honesty."
"True. Thanks for keeping me grounded, yn."
"Anytime, Jimin. Anytime.")

On a random afternoon as the two girls lounged on the couch, idly flipping through channels, they stumbled upon a news report about Spiderwoman. Jimin's heart skipped a beat as she watched, her secret identity suddenly thrust into the spotlight.
"Wow, Spiderwoman is so cool," yn commented, her eyes fixed on the screen. "She's pretty hot too..." she muttered more-so to herself, Jimin still heard her comment though.
Jimin tried to suppress the surge of excitement that bubbled up inside her at yn's words. She felt a blush creeping up her cheeks, her heart racing as she struggled to maintain her composure.
"Yeah, she's... uh, pretty cool," Jimin managed to mumble, her voice betraying her nerves.
As the report continued, Jimin couldn't tear her eyes away from the screen, her mind racing with a million thoughts. She stole a glance at yn out of the corner of her eye, her heart swelling with affection for the oblivious girl sitting beside her.
In that moment, Jimin realized just how much she cared about yn, and how badly she wished she could share her true identity with her. But the fear of rejection still held her back, casting a shadow over her burgeoning feelings.
As the news segment came to an end and the TV screen flickered to black, Jimin was left grappling with the turmoil of her emotions, uncertain of what the future held for her and yn.

("Are you made of copper and tellurium?"
"Uh, no? Why?"
"Because you're Cu-Te!"
"Oh, Jimin, that's... something."
"Yeah, I thought it was kind of nerdy but cute. Like me."
"Definitely cute. And modest too."
"Thanks. I'll take that as a win.")

“Hey Jimin? Do you think you can help me out with this subject?”
The question was innocent enough, nothing was supposed to happen between Jimin and yn, right?
Jimin and yn sat together in their cozy dorm room, the soft glow of the lamp casting warm shadows across the room. They had been studying for hours, their textbooks forgotten as their conversation drifted to more personal topics.
As the evening wore on, their proximity seemed to amplify the crackling tension between them. Jimin's heart raced as she stole glances at yn, her features illuminated by the gentle light. yn's laughter rang out, filling the room with its melodic cadence, and Jimin found herself captivated by the way yn's eyes sparkled with amusement.
With each passing moment, the air between them seemed to thicken with unspoken desire. Jimin's gaze lingered on yn's lips, the urge to lean in almost overwhelming. She could feel the heat of yn's breath against her skin, a tangible reminder of their closeness.
yn's fingers brushed against Jimin's hand, sending a jolt of electricity coursing through her veins. Their eyes met, a silent exchange of longing and yearning passing between them. In that fleeting moment, it felt as if the rest of the world had fallen away, leaving only the two of them suspended in time.
As Jimin and yn found themselves drawn closer together, the tension between them palpable, it seemed as if the world around them faded into the background. Their gazes locked, inches apart, their lips mere moments away from touching in a long-awaited kiss.
But just as they leaned in, on the precipice of that anticipated connection, Jimin's heightened senses kicked in. A familiar tingle crept up her spine, a warning sign that duty called. A new crime awaited Spiderwoman's intervention, pulling her away from the brink of intimacy with yn.
With a heavy heart, Jimin reluctantly pulled back, the disappointment evident in both their eyes. Yn's expression mirrored Jimin's own sense of longing, the momentary promise of closeness snatched away by the demands of Jimin's secret life as Spiderwoman.
Their interrupted moment hung in the air, charged with unspoken words and unfulfilled desires. Though duty called Jimin away, the memory of their almost-kiss lingered, a tantalizing glimpse of what could have been, leaving both girls yearning for the day they could pick up where they left off.
--
Somehow the almost kiss made Jimin even more awkward than she already was. Jimin didn’t know how to behave around yn. Should she keep her distance? Should she seize the day and kiss the girl? One thing was for sure, she wanted her roommate badly.
Jimin's heart skipped a beat as yn emerged from the bathroom, clad only in a towel. She tried to focus on her textbook, but her eyes kept drifting back to her roommate's figure. yn seemed oblivious to Jimin's internal struggle as she nonchalantly rummaged through her wardrobe for something to wear.
Jimin cleared her throat, attempting to regain her composure. "Uh, yn, do you need help finding something?"
yn turned to her, a playful grin on her lips. "No, I'm good, thanks. Just trying to decide what to wear for tonight." yn knew perfectly what kind of effect she had on Jimin and she planned to use it to her advantage.
Jimin nodded, unable to tear her gaze away. "Right, yeah, you look... um, nice."
yn giggled, seemingly unfazed by Jimin's flustered state. " In nothing but a towel? Wow. Thanks, Jimin. You're sweet."
As yn finally settled on an outfit and disappeared into her room, Jimin let out a shaky breath, grateful for the temporary reprieve. Being roommates with yn was both a blessing and a curse, especially when moments like this left her feeling more than a little flustered.

("Are you a magician, yn?"
"No, why?"
"Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears."
"Smooth, Jimin."
"I try my best. So, do I get a round of applause for that one?"
"You definitely get points for creativity."
"Well, I'm glad you appreciate my efforts."
"I appreciate the entertainment, that's for sure."
"I'll take what I can get. Maybe next time I'll pull a rabbit out of a hat or something."
"Looking forward to it.")

As the night enveloped the city in its dark embrace, yn found herself walking alone, lost in her own thoughts. Unbeknownst to her, danger lurked in the shadows, waiting to strike. Suddenly, a group of masked assailants emerged from the darkness, their intentions menacing and clear.
yn's heart pounded in her chest as fear gripped her, her instincts urging her to flee, but before she could react, a figure swooped down from above, a blur of red and black, swiftly dispatching yn's would-be attackers with a flurry of punches and kicks.
In the chaos of the moment, yn barely registered what was happening, her mind consumed by a whirlwind of confusion and fear. But as the dust settled and her assailants lay defeated, she found herself face to face with her savior, the enigmatic figure who had appeared out of nowhere to rescue her.
Spiderwoman stood before her, her mask concealing her identity but her presence radiating strength and reassurance. yn's eyes widened in astonishment, a mix of awe and gratitude washing over her as she realized the magnitude of what had just occurred.
"Spiderwoman...” yn began, her voice barely above a whisper “You saved me."
"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Spiderwoman replied in an incredibly gentle tone. yn couldn’t shake off the fact that her gentleness felt familiar. Maybe it was a superhero thing.
yn shook her head, still reeling from the adrenaline rush of the encounter. Spiderwoman's concern was palpable, her eyes searching yn's face for any signs of injury or distress.
"I-I'm okay, thanks to you. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up." The girl was clearly shaken, but she still tried to voice how grateful she was.
"Just doing my job. Stay safe out here, alright? And remember, if you ever need help, I'll be watching over you."
With that, Spiderwoman vanished into the night, leaving yn standing alone in the aftermath of the encounter. Though shaken by the ordeal, a newfound sense of reassurance settled over her, knowing that she had a guardian angel watching over her, even in the darkest of times.
--
As yn stepped back into the familiar surroundings of their dorm room, her heart still racing from the adrenaline of the encounter, she found Jimin sitting on her bed, a book in hand. Jimin looked up as yn entered, her eyes immediately drawn to the dreamy expression on her roommate's face.
"Hey, everything okay?" Perfect execution, Jimin!
yn, still caught in a daydream, replied to the best of her ability, "Oh, Jimin, you won't believe what just happened. I met Spiderwoman!"
Jimin's eyes widened in excitement, a grin spreading across her face at yn's words. She set her book aside, leaning forward eagerly as yn recounted the thrilling encounter with the mysterious superhero.
"No way! What was it like? Did she say anything to you?" You really are the perfect actress, Yu Jimin!
yn launched into a vivid retelling of the encounter, her words animated with the lingering rush of adrenaline and awe. She described Spiderwoman's swift intervention, her unwavering bravery in the face of danger, and the sense of reassurance she had instilled in yn with her presence.
"It was incredible, Jimin. I've never felt so safe and protected in my life." yn let out a dreamy sigh.
Jimin listened intently, her eyes shining with excitement as she hung on yn's every word. She couldn't help but feel a swell of pride at yn's reaction to meeting her alter ego, knowing that she had played a part in protecting and wooing her roommate.
"That's amazing, yn. I'm so glad you're okay. And hey, if you ever want to meet her again, just let me know. I might be able to arrange something." Smooth, Jimin! She’s finally yours!
yn smiled at Jimin's offer, grateful for her roommate's unwavering support and excitement. In that moment, as they shared the thrill of yn's encounter with Spiderwoman, their bond grew stronger than ever, united by a shared sense of wonder and admiration for the extraordinary hero in their midst.
However, yn didn’t know that this was only the first of many encounters she would share with Spiderwoman.

As yn made her way home through the quiet streets, the late hour casting elongated shadows across the pavement, she felt a sense of calm settle over her. She was lost in her thoughts, unaware of the vigilant figure watching over her from the rooftops above.
Suddenly, a familiar figure descended gracefully from the darkness, landing before yn with a quiet rustle of fabric. yn looked up in surprise, her eyes widening as she recognized the unmistakable silhouette of Spiderwoman.
"Spiderwoman! What a pleasant surprise." yn let out, she would be lying if she said she hadn’t been dreaming about this very moment.
"Hey there, yn. Just out for a stroll?" Spiderwoman said as casually as she could.
Wait… yn?
yn froze, her heart skipping a beat at the sound of her own name slipping past Spiderwoman's lips. She turned to her companion, her expression a mix of surprise and confusion.
yn nodded, feeling bewildered, returning Spiderwoman's smile as she fell into step beside her mysterious companion. They walked together in companionable silence for a while, the only sound the soft shuffle of their footsteps against the pavement. However, yn couldn’t brush off her surprise.
Why does she know my name?
Eventually, yn couldn't resist the urge to strike up a conversation, her curiosity piqued by the enigmatic figure at her side.
"So, Spiderwoman” yn said in an overly casual tone, “anything exciting happen tonight?"
"Oh, you know, the usual. Just keeping an eye on the city." Spiderwoman said, trying her best to sound cool.
yn nodded, content to enjoy the peaceful camaraderie of their impromptu encounter. Still, she made sure to keep a close eye on her companion. Maybe she’ll let her guard down.
"So, yn..." Spiderwoman made a mistake. Again.
I got you now.
“Can I ask you a question, Spidey?”
Jimin is embarrassed by how fast her heart started beating after hearing yn refer to her by a nickname. “Sure, what’s up?”
“How did you know my name was yn? I never told you”.
Spiderwoman's mask hid the flicker of panic that flashed across her features at yn's question. She scrambled for a plausible explanation, her mind racing to come up with a convincing response.
"Um, well, you know, I, uh... I just happened to overhear it somewhere. Must have slipped out accidentally."
yn studied Spiderwoman's masked visage intently, a lingering sense of suspicion nagging at the back of her mind. However, she chose to let the matter drop for now, unwilling to push her mysterious companion any further. She is sure she’ll get her chance sooner rather than later.
"Ah, got it. Well, thanks for the company, Spiderwoman. It's always nice to have someone to walk with." She smiled in a way that gave Jimin a heart attack for a million different reasons.
"Anytime, yn. Take care on your way home." Nailed it.
With a final wave, Spiderwoman melted back into the shadows, leaving yn to ponder the intriguing encounter as she continued on her journey homeward. Despite the unanswered questions lingering in her mind, she couldn't deny the sense of comfort and reassurance that Spiderwoman's presence had brought her on this dark and lonely night.
--
yn stepped through the door of the dormitory, her mind still reeling from her encounter with Spiderwoman. As she entered the familiar surroundings of their shared living space, she was greeted by the sight of Jimin sitting on the couch, a playful glint in her eye.
"Hey there, yn! How was your walk?" Jimin said cheerfully.
yn's lips quirked into a knowing smile as she regarded her roommate, her suspicions about Spiderwoman's true identity suddenly crystallizing into certainty. She decided to play along for now, relishing the opportunity to keep Jimin's secret while she plotted her next move.
"Oh, you know, nothing out of the ordinary. Although I did run into someone interesting on the way back." A slight smirk playing at her lips.
Jimin's eyes widened slightly at yn's cryptic remark, a hint of apprehension flickering across her features before she quickly masked it with an easy grin.
"Oh yeah? Who'd you meet?"
yn leaned against the doorframe, her expression enigmatic as she met Jimin's gaze head-on. Let’s see you try to get out of this one, Spidey.
"Let's just say she's someone who knows how to keep the city safe, even late at night."
Jimin's breath caught in her throat, a surge of panic coursing through her veins at yn's words. She struggled to maintain her composure, her mind racing to concoct a plausible explanation for her alter ego's unexpected appearance in their conversation.
"Ha, lucky you, running into interesting people all the time!” Jimin let out an awkward laugh. “You'll have to introduce me sometime."
yn's smirk widened into a knowing grin as she watched Jimin squirm under the weight of her unspoken revelation. She made a mental note to bide her time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to confront Jimin head on.
"Oh, don't worry. I'm sure you'll meet her soon enough." With that tantalizing promise hanging in the air, yn sauntered off to her room, leaving Jimin to grapple with the unsettling realization that her carefully guarded secret might not be safe for much longer.
Maybe you’re not the perfect actress, Yu Jimin.

Okay, time to do something stupid!
yn stood defiantly in the dimly lit alley, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for the inevitable. She knew she was treading on dangerous ground, playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with her roommate-turned-superhero. But she couldn't resist the thrill of the chase, the exhilarating rush of adrenaline that coursed through her veins as she knowingly put herself in harm's way.
As she glanced nervously around the shadowy confines of the alley, she caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of her eye. Seconds later, Spiderwoman materialized out of the darkness, her lithe figure cutting a striking silhouette against the night sky.
"yn, what are you doing here? It's not safe!" Spiderwoman exclaimed, her voice dripping with concern.
yn met Spiderwoman's concerned gaze with a defiant glint in her eye, her resolve unyielding as she faced the repercussions of her reckless actions head-on.
"I knew you'd come. I needed to prove a point."
Spiderwoman's brow furrowed in frustration, her voice tinged with exasperation as she chided yn for her foolhardy behavior.
"You can't go around doing stuff like this, yn! You're putting yourself in unnecessary danger. What if something had happened to you?" Spiderwoman said, her frustration skyrocketing. “What if I wasn’t her to protect you, huh? You’re acting like a toddler”.
yn bristled at Spiderwoman's stern tone, her own temper flaring as she pushed back against the other girl's unwavering concern.
"Yu Jimin, enough! Stop treating me like a child. I know exactly what I’m doing."
What?
The words hung heavy in the air between them, a palpable tension crackling with the weight of unspoken truths. In that fleeting moment, Spiderwoman's mask of stoicism slipped, revealing the vulnerable girl beneath the facade.
Spiderwoman's eyes widened in shock at the sound of her real name on yn's lips, her heart skipping a beat as she grappled with the sudden shift in dynamics between them. In that brief, poignant moment, the boundaries that had once defined their relationship blurred, leaving behind a lingering sense of uncertainty and unspoken desires.
Jimin's heart pounded erratically in her chest as she watched yn's expression soften, her eyes brimming with unspoken affection. She couldn't believe she had let slip her secret identity, couldn't fathom the repercussions of her reckless actions. But as yn's gaze met hers with unwavering warmth, Jimin felt a flicker of hope ignite within her, a glimmer of possibility in the midst of uncertainty.
"How... How did you find out?" Jimin’s voice barely above a whisper.
yn's smile was gentle, her voice infused with a quiet reassurance as she met Jimin's gaze with unwavering sincerity. "I noticed the little things, the way you always seem to disappear whenever trouble arises, the injuries that miraculously heal overnight. And then there was that slip-up with my name."
Jimin's shoulders sagged with relief at yn's honest confession, her heart swelling with gratitude for the other girl's unwavering acceptance.
"I'm sorry, yn. I never meant to keep this from you. I just... I didn't know how to tell you." Jimin felt like she could cry, she was feeling too much at the moment. Oh brother, I need to lie down.
yn reached out to gently cup Jimin's cheek, her touch tender and reassuring as she offered the other girl a small, understanding smile.
"It's okay, Jimin. I understand. But from now on, let's promise to be honest with each other, no matter what." yn’s smile gave Jimin hope. For the first time, Jimin felt like everything was going to be okay.
Jimin nodded fervently, her heart overflowing with gratitude for yn's unwavering support. As the weight of secrecy lifted from her shoulders, Jimin felt a renewed sense of longing blossom within her, a newfound courage to embrace the vulnerabilities that lay bare between them.
"Thank you, yn. How can I make it up to you?"
yn's smile widened into a mischievous grin as she reached out to delicately trace the contours of Jimin's mask, her touch sending shivers down the other girl's spine.
"I think I have an idea." yn lowered her voice, a smirk on her lips.
With a deft motion, yn carefully pulled away Jimin's mask, revealing the vulnerable girl beneath the facade. In that moment of unspoken intimacy, Jimin felt the walls that had once separated them crumble away, leaving behind an undeniable connection that transcended the boundaries of secrecy and fear.
As their lips finally met in a long-awaited kiss, the world around them faded into obscurity, leaving only the raw, unfiltered emotion that pulsed between them. In that fleeting moment of shared vulnerability, Jimin and yn found solace in each other's arms, daring to believe that love might just conquer all.

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and Jimin and yn had decided to spend the day together at their shared dorm room. As they lounged on the couch, Jimin scrolled through her phone while yn leaned against her, idly playing with Jimin's hair.
Suddenly, a breaking news alert flashed across the screen, announcing Spiderwoman's latest heroic feat. yn glanced up, a mischievous twinkle in her eye, as she nudged Jimin playfully. "Looks like your alter ego is making headlines again."
Jimin chuckled, leaning into yn's touch as she replied, "Yeah, she's always stealing the spotlight."
yn grinned, her fingers tracing lazy circles on Jimin's scalp as she teased, "I bet she's just trying to impress her girlfriend."
Jimin's cheeks flushed pink at the playful jab, but she couldn't suppress the smile that tugged at her lips. Wrapping an arm around yn, she pulled her closer, pressing a kiss to her temple.
"Well, she's lucky to have such an amazing girlfriend." Jimin whispered against her girlfriend’s temple. Tease me all you want, at the end of the day you still agreed to be mine.
yn grinned, leaning into Jimin's embrace as she retorted, "Flattery will get you everywhere, Spidey."
The two of them dissolved into laughter, the playful banter a comforting reminder of the easy chemistry they shared. As they snuggled together on the couch, Jimin and yn savored the simple joy of being together, grateful for the love and laughter that filled their lives.
With Jimin's arm wrapped around her and the warmth of their shared affection enveloping them, yn couldn't help but feel like the luckiest person in the world. And as they basked in each other's company, they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm.

("Are you a time traveler, yn?"
"No, why?"
"Because every time I look at you, I feel like I'm going back in time. To the moment I fell in love with you."
"Jimin..."
"Gotcha."
"You're ridiculous, you know that?"
"But you love me anyway, right?"
"Always.")

A/N: Here we go, spider Jimin! I had this sitting on my drafts for the longest time, but here it is. Thank you so much for reading!
I'm working on some requests and I might add a Valentine's Day special as well. It all depends on my schedule, I'm getting a new one tomorrow so we shall see how it goes. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, if you want to request something, feel free to let me know.
