I think MK would be a pretty good therapist patient because he would be open to improve, macaque would have no problem talking but would be impossible to get to self reflect, and wukong would just clown around or not talk at all. Your thoughts?
I think Wukong would try to clown around then shut up and not say anything
Macaque would be very much self projecting onto everyone and everything
and Xiaotian.. yeah he'd talk about his feelings more openly yeah

1- Same reason as Xiaojiao and Yin! I just cannot see it! And due to personal reasons, uh... no! No, can't.. I cannot digest it, sorry
2- I hc them as cousins I am so sorry I cannot see them as anything romantic since Macaque is so self-centered and Chang'e literally lost her husband and can't leave the moon because of it I can see them both bonding over lost partners but other than that uh.. no.
3- Maybe. MAYBE if we get Jade Face we can bring this back but for now.. she's not canon so I can't really say I ship them.

Transpiring from actual events in the book, Erlang harms Wukong more than he helps him and even if we overlook the burning of his mountain, piercing his shoulders and capturing his generals while mocking him — Erlang.. it just doesn't feel right? And I know sworn brothers aren't directly, you know, brothers but the potential dynamic they could have reads to me more as siblings. One who is praised despite his flaws and the other who is deemed immoral despite helping people.

It's kinda boring tbh! I'm sorry it's.. a little boring and I don't see the appeal of it? (And maybe we should stop using -tea for Tang ships since.. y'know he doesn't drink Tea and it's kinda weird to use it for him? So idk idk) It's just not my favorite pairing and it's kind of weird considering Tang is supposed to be the reincarnation of Sun Wukong's old mentor.. and seeing as that's usually seen as a parental figure for Sun Wukong I don't really like it.

Personal headcanons! I see Xiaotian and Xiaojiao as just friends and their dynamic feels very familial to me (I literally thought they were siblings in the pilot until it was revealed they weren't) and having that type of dynamic in a poly ship is... weeeeird. I don't enjoy it. That and it feels like it'd be a lot.. imo. nothing against the ship itself! i think it's p cute but just not for me yknow?
