the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal

The way the cat talks about quests and heroes - half the time I think the curse is real, and half the time I think it’s all an elaborate play.
Underwater world feels so familiar. It’s the Fontaine ruins architecture, same architecture that was in the Narzissenkreuz Ordo quests 🥰
Just saw the beautiful music box for the first time. Hope it gives us a rhythm minigame to play!

It’s so silly, that it catches you with your guard down when it launches you into……. This.
Feels so much like leaping into a beautiful tale that you won’t want to leave, the way Mary-Ann’s little cabin felt. The moment before midnight, when tomorrow never comes….
Love the background music in this dream/memory(?) sequence 🥺😭😭 Makes me nostalgic for a past I’ve never seen 😭 oh this is going to be a tearjerker for sure.

Phobos is TINY. It’s, what, 17 miles across? A human distance runner could run all around it in a day - the longest way around.

Bossventurine can CRUSH Dr. Ratio. My free Dr. Ratio has been carrying my account, he’s my only limited 5*, and he’s pretty great. But wow did he get destroyed this time.
Boss Aventurine’s mechanics are exactly what Ratio is weak against. Fresh targets with no debuffs vs. single-target hunt character - even if Ratio hits the follow-up, it’s 2 rolls. Usually in the second phase you’ll need 9 to tie and 10 to win; on average you will roll 7 in two rolls. Only way I’ve come up with to keep him alive is to use his ult, then use everyone else’s ult to trigger Wiseman’s Folly.
The trouble then, is that at least 3 of your ults are going into keeping Ratio alive, and you’re barely doing any damage. Leaves just one spot left for someone to handle healing/shielding for the full team. And sooner or later, Bossventurine’s normal attack chips you down.
I think that’s kind of poetic. The esteemed Doctor has met his match. Single-minded focus cannot defeat Aventurine. His style is to try to make allies in lots of different factions, and so too must you diversify your targets to defeat him!
(That said, story-wise, Ratio is actually very good at keeping track of lots of moving pieces in his schemes!)
