Mychael Maier is a ca. 1967 native Calgarian. He received a diploma in Fine Art from the Alberta College of Art in 1986, then, in 1989, an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, becoming an active member in the local art community for the past 25 years.  He currently maintains a vigorous studio practice.
