I've been thinking about writing a Kirby fic recently, in part to relive my teen years when I made my first fic - a Kirby fic that's still floating around on ffn but that truly has all the hallmarks of baby's first story. I want to flesh out some of the ideas that first gave me brain worms in better quality. Buuuut since its anime verse I want to wait until I finish rewatching it, now that the sub project is finally complete and I can watch all 100 episodes.

Not to mention the issue of having an abundance of longfics to work on already, and this would be yet another long fic OTL

#A couple months back I went on a big Kirby binge and ended up binging post-it-note7s fics and purblegaymers where were the meta knights fic #And it made me want to write one #Oh and some of radiant seraphinas works too #I have a rough idea of it and all but I want to see what else I can pull from the anime before I actually look into writing anything for it

Really need to remember to talk about my fic writing escapades here more lmao.

This month, I managed to get two Heart of a Hero chapters edited. I'm hoping to have the first half cleaned up by July. I think at that point, I'll be comfortable starting to work on the sequel fic in earnest, which I've been obsessing over the last couple days. I already have a rough outline and expect it to be 10 chapters. I'll probably completely draft the whole thing before I even start publishing. Having an update schedule on something shorter like that.

Meanwhile, Places We Call home has been slower moving. But I think I finally identified and solved the source of the issue that's made it hard to work on. Hopefully with that settled, I can finish drafting the current arc by the end of April and get a nice push towards the big turning point.

Oh! I made a little progress on fragments, too! I should try to pick out a handful of my favorite panels and post them here. Need to remember to do that soon. Need to remember to post my art in general tbh.

I'd like to work more on Origin, but the motivation hasn't really been there rip.

Ah well. Hopefully by the end of March I'll have some new stuff to share!
