Aged 16, she was the youngest photographer to cover the 1999 students' uprising. Anahita Ghabaian Etehadieh (center), born in 1962 in Tehran is the founder of the Silk Road Gallery, Iran's first photo gallery. She and Newsha curated the exhibition"IRAN: YEAR 38 (66 IRANIAN PHOTOGRAPHERS)" at the Rencontres de la Photography in Arles, 2017.
