oblivion tears back soon (dc too)

One of my favorite whump tropes :

The caretaker or team on a rescue mission finding whumpee beaten, bloodied, half dead and psychologically broken. The whumpee is bound, and when they hear their allies coming they think it’s the whumper, so they shrink back and cower and start begging not to be hurt. Their voice is weak and their breathing is shallow and ragged, maybe they’re repeatedly saying that they don’t know anything, they don’t have any information to give, please no more. The caretaker / team just freezes, taking in the sight of whumpee so broken, looking around and seeing the conditions they were kept in, tools and torture devices that had been used on them, realizing the full extent of what had been done to them. Their breath hitches, or a few tears fall, before they compose themselves to help the whumpee.

Just that little moment when a quiet “oh my god” slips out upon seeing the horrors that the whumpee has been subjected to. I fucking live for that 🤤

Whump Prompt 69

Whumpee lives an imprisoned life as a slave on an enemy base ever since they were captured. Their days are filled with back-breaking labor, abuse from officers, and crippling loneliness from being separated from any sort of comfort.

An officer pulls them out of their cell one day, leading them swiftly towards the barracks. Whumpee’s breath grows rapid, and tears begin to fill their eyes. The officer pulls them into a room, where another officer is there waiting for them. The door closes and locks behind them.

“Oh no, sir, please no! Please, please no! Please don’t do this, sir! Please!” Whumpee breaks down into tears. They’re cut off by hand clamped over their mouth and they freeze.

“Shh, it’s okay! It’s okay! We’re not going to hurt you.” Whumpee is taken back by the softness of his voice and the concerned look in his eyes. The other officer comes into view, and Whumpee sees the same look in him too.

“It’s okay, kid. We’re gonna help you get out of here. We’re gonna get you home.”

Character intro, Alketraz

Gender: Male Age: 26 Occupation: Assassin, ex spec-ops Physical description: Taller (around 6′2), green eyes, short brown hair, short beard, toned muscular, scars one face and arms and back, left shoulder tattoo of a lock and key, tends to wear darker colors and usually has some kind of light mesh armor on. Backstory: Alketraz was abandoned by his family as a young age and spent a lot of time in the foster system. His experiences there were less than pleasant, being tossed from one family to the next until he was too old to be desirable. As soon as he was old enough, he joined the military and went through hellish training to become a fighter behind enemy lines. Learning to handle torture and how to torture others warped his mind until he was removed from service for liability. Now he executes his training on people who wrong others, taking out abusive family members for those in need...  sometimes for a fee. 

Part 1 here Part 2  Part 3 So I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this, there’s a bit more to the story, a couple of pages I have ideas for, but eh, too many other things to do right now :’)  Anyway, it’s a pretty cool concept I’ve been playing around with - what if too much Truth Serum is bad for you :0
