Summary:

September 2014, Varadha acquires a substantial stake in a coal mine located in same backwater city in Assam called 'Tinsukia'. By January, his labourers are apparently on a hunger strike for being forced to work without safety equipment, more than 48 hours a week, and allegedly, he's told this with a lot of manful tears and sniffling, some giant of a man had threatened to shove the Factory Occupier of a cliff. Baachi had just wanted a vacation.

I remember watching the movie and being very sad cause I knew indian cinema won't give us a mainstream gay couple and on a whim I googled fics for them and I was so blown away. Your writing had been living rent free in my head for the last week. I can't stop re-reading, I legit can't. I keep thinking about the beautiful tragedy that is vardhaa and deva. Can you please please continue the omegaverse one, I'm coming from it like 10 min ago and I'm dying??? Like, my heart is hurting and fluttering and gosh, I'm awed. Your writing speaks to a very specific place inside me, like it gives me the same feeling i get when I write myself. I don't even know what to say, sorry for being so over the place.

As for the omegaverse one, I was in a.. good mental place when I wrote it, now I’m working two jobs, doing two courses and preparing for a third exam, come May I’ll also have my freelancing clients on my back, so I’m about as done with higher brain functions as it gets. ATP writing anything at all is proving fairly hard, so I’m not forcing myself to think about things I currently don’t have the capacity for.

This doesn’t mean I’ve given up on it by a long shot, I’m still doing background work on it, I’m still jotting down notes and writing a paragraph or two here and there when the inspiration strikes but that’s about the limit of my bandwidth. Perhaps my brain will restart on that fic and I’ll start getting it out soon but I’m not making any promises.

As for the list, that’s a painfully long, because I’m exceptionally lazy and can and will read pretty much anything you throw at me.

All the same, this is a bit tough to answer, because half of what’s exciting about fanfic is everyone sharing their own ideas; but generally, I enjoy grounded fics with good plot and characters being, well, in character. Basic, I know.

I enjoy angst, I suppose that’s fairly obvious but I also really love reading humour, so that’s always something I’m on the lookout for.

How about I just randomly share the ideas I’d like to see written over a bit? Because right now I’m incapable of thinking anything specific.
