It's been a while...
It's me. Your favorite or not so favorite author 😅 I know I've been away for quite a while, but there's a good reason for that. During the summer, I've lost a family member who I cherished deeply and that hit me hard. Then one of my closest friends went through hell recently and I had to be there for her. Then the university happened and so much more but one thing I came to FINALLY realize and believe is that EVERYBODY LIES.
It starts from the moment you're born - our parents lie to us about Santa Claus and his existence, then the friends in school tell us that they are busy or their moms won't let them out to play just because they don't like you or are too lazy to go out. After that comes the time when you get a boyfriend or a girlfriend and they tell you they are sick, or busy, or they are away while they are with someone else or choose another activity over you, the boss at work who promises a promotion but that promotion somehow never comes. Then, the wives and husbands who in the beginning are so thoughtful and caring and would do the impossible to aid you but after a while this too comes to an end and those people show their true faces - you're sick - they don't want to help with chores or whatever, need someone to pick you up - you're too far away or called too late because now they are home and don't want to go out again, you forgot to buy something from the store - too bad, your partner is more tired than you so go get it yourself and so on...
In the end turns out that the promises we give, the lengths we go to and everything we do means nothing, because the opposite side gets tired of giving and only wants to receive from some point on. But in the beginning we lie and lie and lie through our teeth so we can chain someone to us, to do something for us and be of good use.
Sorry for the rant but I've been so sick of my situation that I needed to vent. Feel free to give your input if you want...
