clarke stops lexa’s bleeding.

it seems impossible, but if she’s learned anything on the ground it’s that anything can happen, here – the breadth of the earth allows the best and worst of life to play out to its full potential.

and so lexa lives. clarke removes the bullet and stitches her back up and holds her as the color returns to her face.

lexa sleeps. she’s lost a lot of blood and her body needs to heal. there’s nothing clarke can do at this point – nothing but sit vigil, stroking lexa’s cheeks and whispering words that were always there, heavy on the back of her tongue; words that spill from her so easily now, that feel so good she wonders why she ever staunched their flow.

night settles gently around them and a breeze extinguishes the candles in the room. they’re only left with moonlight, then, and clarke wonders if lexa knows it’s a misnomer – moonlight. she whispers it to her, tells her that she is like the sun, that even when she dips beneath the horizon her light cannot be doused.

hours later the sky is awash in the brilliant colors of dawn – hopeful streaks of pink and orange – but clarke doesn’t notice, because lexa’s eyelids begin to flutter.

clarke says the words again, slowly, carefully, like she’s stitching the most delicate wound. she says them as she cups lexa’s jaw, fingers black with dried blood. she says them as lexa’s lips part to pull in a sharp breath. she says them as the first morning rays drift in through the window, casting out clarke’s lingering despair.

two gray-green eyes find hers and she sags against lexa, collapsing from the weight of relief. clarke feels shaky fingers sifting through her hair and she sobs against lexa’s neck.

lexa tries to talk but her voice is hoarse. clarke leans back, shushes her, rubs her thumbs over her cheeks, but lexa clears her throat and tries again.

“i love you, too.” (and so lexa lives.)

Thank you dear :) We visited my grandparents, it was lovely. I hope you had a lovely Christmas Eve too. I’m curious :) How did you celebrate?

Yes, a bit late on the tree (made it really cheap though, haha). I also still have to decorate it, can you believe that? :P It doesn’t even have a proper pot.

But we also have Sinterklaas in the Netherlands, another present receiving/giving time half november till 5 december, so christmas preparations are usually not very big. Then again, our tree usually still stands till long after Three Kings in January. xx

Hi there! Yes I did. That’s a weird night ;p, all girls?

Yes, Carol is very good, it’s like a work of art, beautiful shots, and such chemistry between the actors, Cate Blanchett is amazing :O. The story is a little bit dark, but it has a kinda happy ending. It’s set in the 50s in New York. It’s an adaption of ‘A price of salt’ by Patricia Highsmith, it was one of the first love stories between two women with a happy end.

Single over here ;p, quite happy. I did have this crush on a girl I know, but she’s a lot younger than me, and she doesn’t seem that interested in me. You?

You have any plans for the holidays? I’m going bowling this afternoon with a classmate, it’s always so much fun. And I got a christmas tree yesterday! Still have to put it up and decorate :) You have a tree? xx

I think I drempt about meeting Charlotte Sullivan once on the set of Rookie Blue coz I was filming with them for a scene where I was a paramedic! 😂 so sorry Santa didn't visit yesterday, I had one of the weirdest days I ever had and I hope you can excuse me! 😂💕 imagine dating Charlotte Sullivan and walking to her, seeing her make breakfast every morning 😍😍😍

I've only ever been to Paddington and a couple other spots in London where they filmed it. I ran into the 9 and 3/4 thing and it just hurt😂 Urgh I kinda hate to say it because most people don't like her music but I'm in love with P!nk like religiously 😩 what she fights for aswell... Did you ever dream that you met a celebrity/someone you’d like to meet? Like, Charlotte Sullivan or Aliyah O’Brien. Or do you ever fantasise how you would meet them and where? :P I once dreamt I met Charlotte Sullivan in LA, where I was visiting my cousins, in a supermarket. She was taking a break from filming obviously (dressed as Gail). It was a good dream, the one where you don’t know you’re dreaming :P

Me too, I read all the books about once a year. Wow, a replica wand, that’s so cool :D. We probably are ;p. I’d love to visit some of the places where HP was filmed one day. A friend of mine once visited the place where Hogsmeade station is, with that beautiful train. And I’ll also visit Highclere Castle one day, Downton Abbey was filmed there.

I’m not sure. I love all kinds of music, pop to rock to classic. Queen, remakes of Beatles songs, Selah Sue, and others. 99 Luftballons is a really good song! (a real classic). I like playing Debussy on the piano though. Mozart is also good. Right now I’m listening to ‘Somebody to Love’ from Queen!
