was alex kralie misguided? absolutely. was he kinda stupid? for sure. did he do terrible things? of course. but hes also just as much a victim as anyone else in the narrative. and it really frustrates me that people treat him as if hes utterly irredeemable when there are so many moments that were put in there specifically to humanize him. hes just a guy at the end of the day, a deeply afraid, traumatized guy. the implication that the operator had been following him all his entire life and just chose the marble hornets shoot as the opportune time to strike is like...what do you think that does to a person?? of course his perception of things was warped, because he was essentially groomed by this thing to be a killer. like if u cant grasp that and feel a little bit of compassion for alex, pleaseeee just watch marble hornets and try again. your reading is a bit faulty!!
