Just a reminder for people who may not know, in light of protestors at UCLA being shot in the face with rubber bullets— rubber bullets are not bullets made of rubber. They are metal bullets encased in rubber.
Despite being called “non-lethal” or sometimes “less lethal”, they are well known to cause death and permanent disability.
Here’s a photo showing their size— these are actual rubber bullets used during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.
Do not let them downplay the severity of what they are subjecting this students to for standing against genocide. Stay safe and stay educated.

A French general casually saying that France must recolonize Africa in the next 10 years… he was saying that Europe is losing its influence in Africa and it’s a bad thing so the solution is “taking it back even if we have to do it militarily”.
At least he had the decency to be honest and say that it had nothing to do with democracy or freedom and that it was all about France’s economical interests and influence.

Reveling in the possibility of the end of days Welcoming it.
Loving that Jewish people are scared because they think said fear will have them converting to Christianity.
Full tilt admitting they're pro Isr@el because they think it will bring back Jesus.
They see their support as significant and that's part of why they push back against those who do not support. Evangelical pastors? Love talking about Isr@el with this angle. Yet and still we're not allowed to ask questions or find this all alarming. I'm sickened.

The Malawi government has finally spoken out on the arrest of Malawian farm workers in Israel, clarifying that 12 out of 40 individuals detained are from the country.
According to Minister of Information Moses Kunkuyu, the 40 individuals, representing 13 nationalities, were arrested for leaving their designated work stations and seeking employment in town without proper authorization.
Kunkuyu revealed that the group, including the 12 Malawians, had abandoned their farm work to seek jobs at a bakery in Bnei Brak, violating Israel’s labor laws and regulations.
Malawi and Israel signed a labor export deal in 2022, allowing Malawi to send unskilled laborers to Israel to work in various sectors, including agriculture and construction. The deal aimed to generate more foreign exchange revenue for Malawi and provide employment opportunities for its citizens.
Under the deal, Malawian workers are expected to work in Israel for a maximum of 5 years, with a minimum salary of $1,500 per month. The deal also includes provisions for workers’ safety, health insurance, and protection from exploitation.
However, the deal has faced criticism and controversy, with some opposition politicians and human rights organizations expressing concerns about the secrecy surrounding the deal and the potential risks to workers’ safety.
The arrest of the Malawian workers has raised concerns about the treatment of foreign workers in Israel and the effectiveness of the labor deal in protecting their rights.
Human rights organizations have called on the Malawian government to take action to ensure the safe return of the detained workers and to review the labor deal to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The incident has also sparked debate about the benefits and risks of labor export deals and the need for greater transparency and accountability in such agreements.
The mistreatment of foreign workers in Israel is well documented and would explain why the 45 workers escaped the farm to look for work elsewhere

"Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor disclosed on Tuesday that it had received testimonies indicating that bodies of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza seemed to have 'evaporated or melted,' suggesting the use of prohibited thermal weapons in residential areas.
The Geneva-based rights group called for an international investigation into the matter, urging that an 'international committee of experts must be established to look into the weapons Israel has been using as part of its genocide in the Gaza Strip ... including the potential use of bombs that produce such high heat that victims’ bodies evaporate.'
According to the report, the genocidal war on Gaza, which has resulted in the martyrdom of over 34,000 Palestinians at the least, raises concerns about the potential use of 'thermal weapons', or what are known as 'vacuum bombs' - well-known in military circles for their efficacy in demolishing caves and underground tunnel complexes.
'A number of the victims killed in these horrifying Israeli raids on residential buildings have vanished and may have turned to ashes, raising questions about the type of bombs used in the attacks,' Euro-Med said, also adding that thousands of martyrs 'remain missing, either because it was impossible to recover them from under the debris in light of insufficient equipment and technical know-how, or because their bodies were either hidden by the Israeli army or no longer exist.'"
