Okay, so in the trailer you can see Stelle in the void with Acheron, and I know it's probably so they can get to whatever is on the other side of the dream, like what Aventurine did.
However, as also I know Stelle probably does not need to convince Acheron that she's about to commit mass murder and needs to die, I am just imagining her casually going up to Acheron and asking her to slash her with a sword so hard it takes her out of reality.
Basically, just using Acheron as a really traumatic form of transportation.

I'm just gonna say this.
The new 2.2 stuff is really making me think of Ena.
Tumblr media
The mechanical boss; the puppet strings; the white, gold and purple hand which -while organic- is in Ena's associated colors…

So, I'm starting to believe Ena's not all that dead inside Xipe.

That would explain the emphasis on chains in his artwork.

This is huge:
it confirms that Sampo’s design is mean to be snake based
directly talks about some hidden powers of his and describes him as dangerous and someone who hides their true thoughts
also he’s a KEY FIGURE!!!
And he is the one changing the outcome of the war, confirming that he kind of is orchestrating Jarilo-VI’s events behind the scenes

It probably isn't that deep. I'm just bored.

Something I don't see anyone talking about is how the latest Keeping Up with Star Rail segment kind of implies Aventurine is a walking existential crisis for Ratio.
So, I thought it was kind of strange that Ratio was so against acknowledging Aventurine's abilities that he would start blatantly lying about not understanding them. Pretending to be ignorant seems kind of insane for him, right? But, I decided to analyze it a bit more and came to some conclusions.
Ratio operates entirely off of reason and logic and employs careful planning to achieve his goals. In contrast, while Aventurine does plan things out, he hinges everything on his luck, even when he does not need to. So, from Ratio's perspective, Aventurine is constantly making reckless gambles while fully believing things he cannot control will go his way simply because he wants them to. This is absolutely idiotic behavior, but instead of meeting what should be inevitable failure, Aventurine always succeeds. And because he always succeeds, Ratio has no grounds to correct him.
But, why would this give Ratio an existential crisis? Because, the fact that Aventurine can succeed by doing seemingly idiotic things puts Ratio's worldview into question. We’ve seen him deal with foolishness on the Herta space station by putting the researchers in a situation so they could learn to be independent for their own good, but around Aventurine, there is nothing he can do. Nothing Ratio can teach him is applicable because there's no reason for him to abide by logic, which makes everything Ratio stands for irrelevant around him.
So, Ratio seems to deal with being irrelevant by dismissing Aventurine as chaotic and beyond calculation. Because, if he can't understand how Aventurine works, then he doesn’t need to confront the fact that he contradicts Ratio's entire outlook. Ratio is a very self-centered person, so it makes sense that someone flagrantly violating his idea of the world would be difficult for him to reconcile with. If his worldview cannot account for Aventurine succeeding without logic, then it is imperfect, and if it is imperfect, his entire mission to eradicate idiocy might be flawed. Pretending to not understand Aventurine means he can just say he doesn't make sense and ignore everything.

Yes! Exactly!
People really put a lot of focus on Ratio here, but Acheron was the one who took the time to directly talk to Aventurine and tell him why life is still worth living. Ratio's note was not nothing, but I do find so much more emphasis gets put on him than Acheron.
I've found no one talks enough about what an MVP Acheron was in that last scene with Aventurine.
When Aventurine decides to make himself vulnerable and ask what the point of living is, Acheron quickly identifies that the question is coming from somewhere traumatic and takes it seriously. She immediately shuts down his depressive line of thinking, stating that not even she, as an Emanator of Nihility, thinks people are born just to die and neither does he. And even though she admits her advice probably can't change anything, she does her best to explain why life is still worth living and reminds him to read Ratio's note- where Ratio told him to keep on living.
Acheron had every reason to want to leave Aventurine in the void, by that point he'd spent days deliberately trying to provoke her just to set his plans in motion. Instead, she makes an effort to help out this clearly depressed and traumatized man she barely knows. It's sad to think about, but that was probably the first time Aventurine had opened up to another human being since his sister died, and Acheron made it safe for him to do so and showed him there are still people who want him to live. It’s unlikely she was aware of it, but that was probably a pretty big deal for him, given he's gone for years seeing his life as nothing but a poker chip.
She didn't have all the answers, but she validated Aventurine's attempt to finally deal with his issues somewhere that wasn't in his head and really did try to help him. This woman is great.

Weird thing I noticed
Aventurine never curses.
At worst, he uses terms like "scoundrel" and "wretch" as insults.
He even says "darn it" when describing how painful the Harmony consecration is. Which is not usually the term people use when saying they have a headache so bad they want to scoop their brains out.

Aventurine or Childe?
Just for some context, Foul Legacy and the Cornerstone are on the table.

The Penacony arc is just Inception meets the Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch.
We've got dreamscapes, false identities, mind control, dream layers, corporations fucking around with dreams, space travel, dream death, shit planets, etc. It's all there.

Her name is barely a syllable off from just being the word "father" in French.
Peruere - père
So how are you all feeling about Arle's animated short?
She seems less evil than I wanted her to be but also there's a certain sense of wonder in that story. I'll take sense of wonder over absolutely anything else.
Also I'm starting to dig Her Majesty's logic.

It's not quite Furina levels of weird, but you have to admit the tone was radically different from the teaser! The teaser was grim and really sad, and kinda creepy at the end. This was Aventurine repeatedly winning at gambling and doing a little twirl at a slot machine.
I'm calling this a win for me by technicality!

Before Aventurine's trailer comes out, I just want to ask-
Is this gonna be another Furina situation where the teaser is the most depressing thing to exist but the trailer is the weirdest thing to exist?
