Her words gave him feelings that he had never experienced before. His breathing was heavy and the sound of her voice filled the entire room, bouncing off the walls and filling his ears as he padded through the rest of his sanity. Most people, his acquaintance would have never expected this gesture from him, they would have expected him to be out causing trouble somewhere, have sex with a girl without bothering to know her name. That’s what most of the rumors throughout the years had claimed anyway. Hardly anyone knew that most of his weekends were spent with him sleeping off after a long day’s worth of documents that came with his inheritance. Because letting something happen to the fortune a good woman left him wasn’t the way Kevin Li ran things. If something happened to it, greedy stock holders trying to embezzle as much as they could, he’d blame himself.
Looking into her eyes, he wouldn’t have been sitting here if not for the desire to take away that mistrust lingering in her eyes and her every move. Instead, he ran a single finger over the side of her face, tracing her cheeks lightly, as lovingly and playfully as he could. He was gently with only her, in ways that no one knew existed for him. He wasn’t that cold hearted asshole that everyone would have expected, the man that even Mrs. Wu would have expected at this point. With her, he was who he had been before his world gotten flipped upside down, that young boy he had missed. As he dragged his finger down the side of her face, tracing blushing cheeks and glossed lips, he wanted nothing more than to find them both a way to get of the messes their lives had currently taken on.
He smiled, hiding the fear of this responsibility behind it. This probably wasn’t an action anyone would have expected from the ever difficult and tough Kris Wu of course. Then again, they weren’t many people who actually get to see this side of her that Tiffany did. She dealt with enough, the least he could give her was a reassurance that someone was going to take care of her, catch her if she needed to fall. This girl was difficult, but if anything, he was known for sticking through the difficulties life threw. With the gentlest movements, he stood up, letting his coat hang on his arms as he straightened up. “I talked to your boss. I have you for the rest of the night, you need to sleep.” The thought of Tiffany overworking herself was normal, she was perfectionist after all. Honestly, he was nearly tempted to ask for his half of the bargain, they must have thought he was paying for the pleasure of the night, when all he really wanted was to give her a time off, out of this place. “I’ll be waiting outside, grab your stuff. He smiled again, crouching down and planting a kiss on her forehead before making an exit. He passed by the bar and the girls lined up for a performance, there were familiar faces he saw Tiffany walk out of the apartment complex once when he was walking back from work. They must have recognized him and nodded their head to acknowledge it. This was her family, he had to meet and thank them soon, for keeping her together until he found her.

He liked, maybe loved her, but she wasn't feeling the same way. There was no worst feeling in the world even if he had mentally prepared himself if it were the case. His rationality descended upon him like a pack of well-meaning hyenas that now gnaws the last bits of patience from his emotional bones, pacifying his need, whispering that it was not a big deal. But it was. Then, this absurd thought that maybe she was playing hard to get slipped into the cracks of his desperate self, maybe she does. He heaved a sigh as he pulled away, gently letting her go to collect himself. For now, it was okay. Eliciting this kind of rejection from her was better than absolute lies, than her riding it out simply because she felt bad that he was on his hypothetical knees begging for affection. Relationships based on lies never work, and this honesty was more than he could ask for. She may not understand, but he wouldn't want anything else than make her see his is larger than life sincere.
He chugged down the last contents of the bottle he had ordered hours ago. He had never waited for someone for more than a minute, and he sat at the VIP room for two hours just to gather himself to be able to do what he had just done and more. "I don't expect you to trust me right away now, do I?" He said, perpetually relieved by the reaction he had received. Things were picking up the way he wanted them too, from this point on, everything will be sincere and honest. "It's going to take a long time for you to open up to me," He continued, turning his head, elbow propped on his knee and cheek resting on the palm of his hand, a sweet, adoring smile on his lips as his finger traced her powdered cheeks, "But I will wait until you're ready." He didn't choke on his words, those were probably the most overused line but it actually felt like the right words to say. "Because I truly care about you, and I want to show you that relationships don't have to be an overnight affair."
He took her hand into his and held it tight, thumb rubbing on her soft knuckles while everything else played in slow motion. He didn't want to be anywhere else but here, hearing the sound of her heartbeat overpowering the bass of the club, her eyes outshining the red district lights and her very existence making his worth another shot. "When you're ready, you tell me. Because you..." He moves his free hand to tuck her lose hair behind her ear like it was a prayer, "You are worth the wait. I am whipped, okay? Screw numbers." It wasn't a question, nor was it a bargain, regardless of her answer, his words and intentions will stay the same. He was hers entirely, he was at her disposal. If she wanted him to jump, he will. If he had to take away the hurt with bare hands, he will. "You don't have to be nice to me or anything, just be the Miyoung I know, heck, be Tiffany. Whatever pieces you have, I'll take them for what they are. I'll take you for who you are."

More than repulsion, her drawing herself away was more to catch air, to breathe and perhaps even a reality check. He, too, was at loss for words at what had just happened. He didn't think he had this much going on for him, that response was far beyond his mind could grasp. But that's just what had happened. She kissed him back, her hand pulled him closer, they shared a moment, even if it was a mere loss of sensibility and sanity. Who cares if she were just carried away? Who cares if it was merely a spur of the moment for her? She gave into it. She allowed herself to respond to his invitation. He dared not to disturbed her momentary pause, instead, a small smile drew itself at the corner of his lips. His mind savoring the kiss, her hands and the closeness of their faces. It would have been too convenient to lean in, but by doing that, it was nothing but a clear cut of hormones.
The air was hot, but neither of them was pulling further away. They kept that distance, feeling safe and surprisingly secure at each other's arms. Emotions ran through his eyes, and his lips apparently, but he did not look away, he let his eyes rest upon hers, allowing her to see that spark of humanity that she was always so keen to bring out. His eyes now screamed, here is my humanity, Hwang Miyoung. He would have never allowed anyone else to witness it, not even his friends but in the hands of a self-confessed high class escort, he was letting himself become vulnerable. Letting a woman who knows manipulation like the back of he hand to take control of what he had spent years perfecting. "I'm doing what I'm supposed to have done months ago..." He whispered before planting a long kiss on her forehead.
He shifted his body, pulling her into him, burying his face into the scent of hers. He had not wanted anyone as bad as he wanted her, not for a very long time. For a long while he thought he had lost that ability to feel anything other than hatred, but as he held her close, he felt that heart of his beat like a normal human being. There was still hope, if only she'd allow him to show her that the people she hoped to exist actually do. That her fears were nothing but empty works of fiction and that he was capable of taking care of her for the rest of his life. That not every story ends up with corpses, not all stories have to end in love in another life. "I can do it... you just have to let me."

She was doing it again, putting her walls up too high. It killed him to have to take it this far, but the circumstances called for it. He wanted her to see there was more to her life now than that good for nothing jerk she takes home to their place. He didn't think it was going to work out that way until he started treating her like a door mat and Miyoung willingly lets him do so. He was patient, but that has its limit. This attraction was too strong to ignore and it is why he was acting on it now. He wasn't going to deny that he wasn't ashamed of any these things he was doing. He felt bad for having to do it like this, but not in any way regretful. "If this is insensitivity then..." It was easy to floor the flaws that her Choi Seunghyun had, so easy to pinpoint why it was never going to work out between her and him, but if he did address his weaknesses, she was going to defend him and he would look like some Grade A asshole who can't take responsibility.
It was bad enough that she thinks he was some immature college kid who graduated because of pure wits and manipulation, if he did ploy on those common human endearments, he'd be fueling his disadvantage. "This is just as weird for me as it is for you." He confessed, with a sigh, shifting towards her, expecting a judging look. Instead, he caught sight of a rather relaxed and uncaring of the world Hwang Miyoung, head thrown back and lips welcoming enough to be kissed. And that was what he did. He rode on instinct once again, pressed his lips on hers, clutched onto her arms as he canted his head to make room for comfort. His eyes shut tight, hoping this wasn't going to be categorized as some sort of sexual abuse. He was a paying customer, but she was Hwang Miyoung before and after all this work. He was more worried about her thoughts of him than she could imagine.
He allowed himself to drawn in her sweet scent. The smell of sweet cherries mixed with mint and cigars, just the right amount, the softness of her skin snuggling him, fingers buried in her cloud soft extremities. He parted his lips, letting tongue slipped into the cavern that uttered sweet music, waking him up from the nightmare that they call sleeping. He suckled and tugged on her bottom lip, a kiss given and not forced upon by lust or a need for a scratch. His lips were hers, and he waited for that confirmation that hers, too, were his. He tasted the bittersweet corners of her mouth, explored as much as he could, taking notice of the tears and regrets that graced upon those lips, the kind of things that did not fancy Choi Seunghyun.

He felt awful for having to do this to her, but she had to understand that regardless of who she wanted to be sheltered as, he will accept her. This wasn't some spur of the moment need to get off, he really wanted her. Not fuck, no, not that. He wanted to make love to her, not as that lowlife whore she plays herself to be but as Hwang Miyoung. The girl who wakes up early in the morning to buy bread and drink coffee until wee hours of morning while people scram to go to work. He liked seeing the coffee stain on the tiled counters to remind him that the place housed some sort of person other than his stagnant self. It reminds him that he is still capable of letting people into his haven, into his life even. She was the reality check he ought to get sooner or later, he just didn't expect her to be this difficult to hate.
True to her reputation, Tiffany was flawless, beautiful beyond words. She was endowed with allure more intricate than numbers and formulas, and that's coming from the guy who chose a second course over an ex-girlfriend. Countless of times, he had seen that pathetic, self-pitying look in her eyes and he hated her for it. Sitting in that room, surrounded by the smell of sex and alcohol, he had a feeling this was going to turn out more emotional than planned. The distaste and disappointment mixed with the blush and lust that engulfed them both, it will take a lot of work to rake out the Miyoung in the Tiffany that stood before him, but he was more than willing to go through all that work to show her he was serious. More serious than paying for half his rent on time. "Dance for me... but only if you want to." He shrugged the act casually, like it weren't some demented psychotic act to easily change his disposition. His smirk shifted into a caring smile, body loosening up from an uptight, pleasure fucking asshole into a long time friend.
It was jumping into quick sand with no way out, only a thread that Miyoung had tied around her finger. Their relationship was casual at best, heck, they didn't even talk that much. They ate a couple of meals together with her doing all the talking while he nodded his head, scoffed and half smiled at her remarks. He could even be counted as a stalker because she never told him anything concrete about her work and where she works. He just happened to see her every time he went out to buy coffee or a quick meet-up in the office to pass some concurrent data. At first, it was unintentional... but every time he passed by the glowing lights of the Burlesque Club, he wondered how different Hwang Miyoung is when she does her work.
He turned to her once more, her slow steps proves his instinct right. This was not an ideal set-up, nor was it an effective way to get close. He shouldn't play jokes on people - not that this was any form of joke. Just the work of an untrained amateur when it came to wanting to make love with someone. The natural order of relationships never appealed to him, so he had it all screwed up in his head. He was hoping she was one of those girls who didn't need some sort of undying cycle of push and pull to deem relations worth a shot. "That was me... trying to be cool. It was a joke, Tiff." He gave himself a hard blow, right in the face as he scooted over to make room for her. "I'd never do that... not like this."

Dance for Me
Outside he could hear the noises of the club; the moans and cries out in pure pleasure of the carnal sin house, along with the bop and beat of the music. He glanced around the VIP room, it almost took him into another era. The place's reputation quite preceded it, but not the way he had expected at least. It was a dark room, seemingly normal. Oak wood centers and accents, with a couple of maroon lamps. Wine bottles stacked to the high heavens and many pictures of the 60’s was shown, along with the 30’s when the club was founded. The scent of a good time, sweetness and nostalgia mixed into a perfect blend.
He grinned as the door swung open, then looking down meekly. His presence must have caught her off guard. It became even more obvious when he looked up, cocking his head to the side, inclining a little more of an insight. "Surprised?" He asked as he slid his drink on the center table. "So am I..." It would be good to still keep her by his side, she was an interesting asset after all. He continued to smirked at her, he was a genius but she said sometimes very stupid. "I didn't know this place is this exquisite..." Kris agreed, before then pushing again. "You didn't say it was this fancy, I honestly thought it was some sad excuse for a whorehouse, no offense." He mused, leaning forward, looking straight into the dark abyss of his drink.
It makes me feel safe. She would often say on their drunken talks. He never quite understood how she places her encompassing heart into something as scandalous as the place. Her entire life revolved around this whorehouse. "They say if I wanted a really good time for my first, I should call for you." Kris said condescendingly, it almost scared him. "Well... dance for me, Hwang Miyoung." He smirked and leaned back in his chair. It was the truth, he wanted her to dance for him.The rhythm and her moving to the sound of the music, forgetting everything. The money involved with the paying men like himself, the benefits of having someone by his side… it was endless. He wanted it. He wanted her. "Dance for me... Tiffany."
