Working on some more art for the Kobolds! rulebook, gonna have to tweak the background abit more.

January 2023: Reaker the Apprentice New year, new character! I have something of a reputation with Kobolds now… This here is Reaker! My little baby Kobold Chronurgist Wizard that I’m playing in an Icewind Dale campaign starting this year! Can’t say much about story stuff this time because of spoilers. (Many people in the campaign are following me.) But I can say that he is sad and shy baby and must be protected. :3 (Despite how this picture makes him look. He’s braver when nobody is around and there’s no enemies. lol) His familiar is named Aion! An Archaeopteryx from the feywild who was overfed and may be a little chonky. :P Also with a lot of personality! As of right now, he has a nit of trouble flying unless someone throws him. This marks month 1 of a little challenge I’m doing for myself. I want to post more art, and I want to force myself to do more art. I want to AT LEAST get 1 full illustration done every month in 2023, so I can look back at a full year of art and feel like I accomplished and improved. And, of course, any extra art I do I want to post as well. But the MINIMUM is at LEAST 1 full illustration. I hope those who follow me can enjoy my journey!

FINALLY I can post this!

For Christmas, I made this Ghibli-style piece of their Pathfinder character (the fire/elemental damage flinging Grandma-Wizard, Haeba) and the three kobolds she adopted throughout our last dungeon crawl!

I looked at a lot of Ghibli screenshots (especially Totoro) for color and background inspiration, and trying to translate the characters into that style was LOADS of fun!

Kobold horns are not standardized, so you can never be sure whether you will have to twist them counter-clockwise or clockwise to unscrew them.

Terrible photo but the replacement for the lost kobold stickers arrived today.

Now it appears the lost parcel may have shown up in the UK after all so now we all have to imagine a boat full of crying kobolds. No wonder it got lost.

These are just the facts.
