i have no self control and i want to talk about perpetua but i dont really want to prime you to observe these things so theyre going under the cut.
- its so obvious that i like overly sarcastic productions from the way damien acts in his villain persona LMAO
- i'd like to try putting in more jokes where i can (within reason) because i think ive done damien a disservice in not utilising him for more comedy. kid's funny. or at least i think he's funny and you'll just have to tolerate that.
- damien's apparent mood pendulum-swings all over the place in the first few pages because he's putting on an act and is extremely stressed out. but regardless i hope the story is easy to follow because there's a fairly concentrated amount of information in the first scene.
- page 4 has one of my favourite panels in the whole chapter so far
- luna's line on pg 2 is him trying to politely remind damien that he forgot to introduce himself
- everything luna says in the first few pages is very deliberate and somewhat strained because he's pretending to look as though he's not being confronted by someone who might be his dead baby brother
