Sorry for no posts, irl got me. That being said, I finally upgraded from 0.4.3 to 0.6.5.1, which means I got more things I can do now. So expect the blog to kickstart again once I have a few moons under my belt that I can make art for (And hopefully I can get a moon that has more than one art piece.)

What will you do if a clan pops up that matches another's blog?

Considering I'm only following Bitterclan and Fallenclan a lot (Although I am following Newtclan somewhat as well as Rainclan, Ridgeclan, and Galaxyclan on youtube) I doubt it will happen. But should it, I'll probably ask and see if it should be a coincidence or canon. But it will most likely be coincidence for a few reasons, but the main reason is that I do not update daily. Not to mention I don't want to encroach on already established lore

How many clans are there?

Currently it is just Whisperclan and Sneezeclan! I am keeping an eye out for any other clans, but even when working on moon 11 and 12 art, no new clans popped up. Only time will tell (And even if I wanted to add another clan, I don't plan to edit the save file as I do not trust myself with Lifegen)

As Patchpaw continues to learn the ways of a medicine cat, an elder named Quickfleck leaves camp without anyone realizing. A few hours later, Quickfleck returns with a single kit that was only just starting to open his eyes. Firerun, another elder and Heartwhisker's father demands an explanation, but Quickfleck simply tells Firerun to mind his own business. Boragespot doesn't mind the new kit, but Patchpaw is soon having his paws full when the kit gets sick due to not having a nursing queen to help care for him.

Moon 8

Patchpaw cheered as Timberpaw and Stoatpaw were hailed as apprentices. Perchstar called Heartwhisker forward and assigned Stoatpaw to her. Meanwhile, Timberpaw was assigned to Tawnyraven, a warrior that Patchpaw rarely saw as it seemed like she was always out of camp. Patchpaw could only hope that Timberpaw didn't take on this trait.

Moon 7

The moon begins with heartache. One of the four elders, Sunwhisker, saved Stoatkit from a deadly adder, but had bitten in the process. He would pass a few days before Moon 8. When patchpaw had gone to find herbs, he saw a visage of Sunwhisker, who lead the apprentice to a new patch of Comfrey, which is the herb Pinepaw needed to recover. With that final act, Sunwhisker gladly passed on to Starclan, happy to have done a final good deed for his brother's grandkits.

Moon 6

The day was finally here. Patchkit, now six moons old, was now able to take the name of Patchpaw and begin his training under Minkeye. It was good timing too, as a warrior in Whisperclan, Falcondream, had recently passed due to a fire. Patchpaw's siblings, Podpaw, Fuzzpaw, and Pinepaw eagerly became warrior apprentices. Podpaw was given to Furledstripe, a new warrior, while Pinepaw was given to Hillfeather. Perchstar herself decided to train Fuzzpaw, Patchpaw's brother. Once the ceremony ended, Heartwhisker revealed that Hillfeather was her kit as well, but her mate at the time had passed before he got to meet his kit.

Moon 5

Stoatkit and Pinekit, after suffering from the effects of heat due to a recent forest fire, are brought into the medicine cat's den where Minkeye can help the two kits recover. Patchkit, eager to help, listens carefully and grabs the herbs Minkeye requests. As Patchkit's adult markings slowly reveal themselves, and the tuft of fur on his head begin to regain a lighter shade, Minkeye decides that Patchkit will become his first apprentice.

Moon 3

Patchkit learns of a place known as the Dark Forest from Podkit, one of his three sisters. When Patchkit says all cats go to Starclan, Podkit says evil cats go to the Dark Forest, where they are punished for their crimes. When Patchkit tries to learn more from Heartwhisker, she doesn't answer and instead takes her birth litter to tour camp.

Perhaps one day Patchkit will learn why none of the adults will tell him what the Dark Forest is.

Moon 2

One night, while Patchkit is resting in his nest, Heartwhisker brings him to a spot in Whisperclan's camp that allows the sky to be visible. Heartwhisker tells Patchkit about Starclan, and how that is where those that have passed on go. Patchkit feels a sense of awe at this revaluation, and he feels a bond with Starclan beginning to form.

A quarter moon later, the Whisperclan medicine cat, Minkeye, brings back a litter of two kits, having failed to save their Sneezeclan mother, Needlestep, in time. As Heartwhisker had milk left over from her own litter, she decides to nurse the two kits. A quarter moon after, the two kits, a she-kit and tom-kit, open their eyes. Heartwhisker, knowing the two will survive, named the tom-kit Stoatkit and the she-kit Timberkit. Despite being two moons younger, Heartwhisker's birth litter take to their new siblings well.

Moon 1

Our story with Whisperclan begins in the nursery. Whisperclan's deputy, Heartwhisker, has had a healthy litter of four kits. Two she-kits, Pinekit and Podkit, and two tom-kits, Fuzzkit and Patchkit. It is Patchkit who we will first follow. There is no known father, as Heartwhisker seems keen on keeping this a secret.
